Hello LCPDFR Community, I hav recently purchased GTA 4 for the purpose of playing your mod. I have been on these forums for hours reading through threads of people who have had errors and I was hoping I wouldn't have any. I am not sure if the mod is what is causing me to have issues with GTA 4 or if it is something else but I hope you all will be able to help me find out. I have followed the READ HERE FIRST post to the letter. I did exactly as it says. Here is what I have done so far. Installed GTA 4 Updated GTA 4 to latest patch Downloaded my LIVE profile in game Downloaded LIVE updates in game Played GTA4 - new game - worked and played nice and smooth (didn't save because I logged out of my live profile) --- Installed LCPDFR 0.91 using automatic installer Ran Diag tool (all systems were good) Started GTA 4 Logged into LIVE profile loading music for the game black screen showing starting new game in bottom right corner Let it sit there for 5 mins or so CTRL ALT DEL and END NOW PROGRAM to get out of the game. Restarted Computer -- Ran GTA 4 as Admin Signed into LIVE Could hear music in background but screen was black loading new game screen let it sit for another 5-10 minutes CTRL ALT DEL + END NOW PROGRAM to get out of game. -- Checked, double checked, and triple checked everything before coming onto the forums to make a post. Below is the DIAG i just ran again. I was able to play GTA 4 before the mod was installed. I don't understand why now it just loads and new game for infinite amount of time. Thanks for everyone who posted but i received the answer that i expected to get. My computer wouldn't run it. Thanks for suggestions too. I was not looking to buy a new computer and probably won't since i will be off to basic in a few months here. Just wanted to play this kick @$$ mod..lol Anyway good luck to you all. -HolyOrangeJuice

The most i could ever see myself spending on a gaming computer would be $400. I don't mind low settings or anything since i will never play games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Gear, Crysis, ect on the PC. @*somebody* - my graphics card is not built in...i added it. @*another somebody* - If not a 9500 gt then what? I know my system can run some of my games better with something great that an 8800.

Exactly what i mean. I know my computer is way old or not up to par with modern systems but that is exactly what i bought it for. To play all my old games that i use to love and enjoy. So i see the value in my purchase and i am happy with it. My question has been answered.

$90 compare to what then. A heck of a lot more. This plays everything i have wanted it to. So it was a decent deal. Came with a fresh version of XP and microsoft office. Games this rip off plays perfectly: Red Orchestra Company of Heroes S.W.A.T. 4 Armed Assault Medival 2: Total War Counter Strike America's Army I use my xbox 360 for games like battlefield, call of duty, gta 4, and all newer games. My PC gaming takes me for some fun usually offline and hardly ever multiplayer. However, my younger brother is looking for a computer so i could give him this one and look for a more powerful one. If i were to do that what would any of you suggest for a new computer? Most likely its going to be way too much not because i dont have the funds but because there would be no WAY in heck i'd spend that much on a computer. -HolyOrangeJuice

Hello, This is my first post after watching hours of videos on the LCPDFR mod. I have owned GTA 4 on my console and loved it but console gamers get screwed since they cannot have mods. So recently to play games like Red Orchestra, Company of Heroes, Counter Strike, Garrys Mod, SWAT 4, ect i bought a new computer for $90 basically brand new. It works for all those games and ive used the systemrequirements website and it says i fail on CPU and graphics card. My main question is would i be able to play GTA 4 with the mod on a 2.8ghz processor.
