  1. Thanks as always, glad to hear it is on the roadmap. Have a nice bank holiday weekend 🙂
  2. Morning all, Wanted to share some feedback re filtering on Scripts & Plugins. I love the addition of the 'Made with AI' tag, but it doesn't work effectively for me because: It takes 5 clicks to exclude the tag. The tag needs to be reapplied on each page visit (at least in my experience - please correct me if I am wrong) For something that is becoming a common tag, this creates a fair amount of friction/difficulty for what feels like a popular user action. There's also a UX/usability perspective as well - when one or two files have this tag, it is much easier for these to stand out. With nearly half the page having this tag, it becomes harder to visually filter them out when browsing (and therefore increasing reliance on filtering tools instead...) Taking LSPDFR Plugins / Callouts for example. That filter is easier to use, persistent-ish (in the sense it updates the URL) and makes sense because it is something that users would often want to separate. That sort of sets the scene for why I am making this suggestion. Frequently used filters can work better when accessible and persistent, which is why I would like to see an accessible toggle for the 'Made with AI' tag. I'm not trying to penalise AI files with this suggestion, but I think filters that are often used should be prioritised for visibility. If you go into the effort of maintaining an AI classification system, you get more out of it by allowing users to take advantage of it in an easier way. Thanks for considering this suggestion, Charlie
  3. Oh look - this does look nice! 😇 There is a small error in your XML that I did notice, so I have attached the file for you here. I'm not sure if this would cause a crash but I believe some of the customisation options could be ignored. Thanks for the upload! FlockSafetyAlert.xml
  4. Thanks all - this feels like a genuinely positive first step for transparency & inaccurate descriptions. I think it's also worth acknowledging the wider impact, with low-effort uploads affecting developers who invest significant time into creating, testing & maintaining projects - so it's not just a user filtering issue, but a fairness and visibility one too. Thanks for this update, I will be looking out for this disclaimer soon 👀
  5. Please feel free to join my Discord Server (via profile or file page) and reach out to me via a ticket to receive a free copy of Early Access as a thank you! 💌
  6. Hey James, I'm assuming you mean the grey line of sight-styled area? That's not a blip but a native (though attached to a blip): SET_BLIP_SHOW_CONE Thanks Lenny 🙂
  7. When a file is presented as entirely AI-generated (thumbnail...description...) it sets certain expectations. Scripts & plugins developed solely with AI often do not work, cause crashes, and displace genuine files. Given the AI thumbnail and AI description - why should anyone assume the script is any different? 🙂 You don't give them a reason to, and I would encourage you to show off the mod with the uniqueness it deserves.
  8. Thanks Cyan - that looks great along with the light/dark mode switch. Sounds like I will just need to do a description update. 😃
  9. Hi Cyan, Thanks for implementing those fixes & enjoying the Christmas theme. I've now been able to access editing my callout page, and noticed a few things: Stop The Ped acts as if it is hyperlinked (does nothing when you click it)...but I certainly did not hyperlink it and do not intend to! The editor does not match up with what is displayed. Perhaps the latter is just something that can't get fixed, but thought I would raise it anyway as I assume it'd affect all other previously uploaded files. Many thanks, Charlie
  10. You're welcome, Cyan. Just on VirusTotal, I agree it doesn't serve a hugely positive purpose - no file uploaded to LCPDFR.com has a virus as your team checks scripts & plugins, so what point is there in showing a flag from VirusTotal? It is like admitting some files have a virus! If it is kept though, the first thing anyone thinks when they see a flagged file is "Why?!" so yes, the balance is a bit off currently. Best wishes with future development. This upgrade has gone down well.^^
  11. Good work on the website improvement, it is great to see new improvements for LCPDFR.com being driven forward. I will certainly hold you to it in regard to those API improvements! :) My current observations that I hope will be helpful to you: Unable to use the login modal (which can be worked around via lcpdfr.com/login/) Unable to edit my uploaded file. "This content can no longer be edited. It may have been moved or deleted, or too much time may have passed since it was posted for it to be edited." My public file has the option to 'show file to the public' rather than an option to hide it. Choosing the burger menu on a file comment > Feature displays two pop-ups when opening. You are no longer able to view the VirusTotal results, other than the Clean/Flagged icon. Being able to view a flagged result is important context if this was an intended change. The Albums tab on my profile is empty, when for others it is hidden (have I done something here?) The Creator Dashboard/Centre is no longer accessible. Profile > Manage File Update Notifications does not work. I am not sure if this is a new feature compared to following a file. Viewing File Stats occasionally results in a Bad Gateway error, and any attempt to change the date range causes the stats page to disappear. Once again, this version marks a huge improvement. Time well spent and I look forward to using the new customisation options available for files.
  12. Glad to see 686 Callouts inspiring other developers in the community & having a positive impact!
  13. I don't really care that you copied United Callouts - it was a minor point in my constructive review - but I care that you're blatantly lying. That's a shame.
  14. Unfortunately I am experiencing a few crashes with the latest version! Here it is from the log.
  15. Hey JoshLSPDFR, I decided to try your callout pack and wanted to give some honest feedback you can take into consideration. While I respect anyone who attempts callout pack making (it is difficult, for sure!) - your description is entirely overstated and the callouts simple. Person with a knife: "De-escalate a tense encounter with a suspect reported to be armed with a knife. Will you resolve it peacefully, or will things take a turn?" First up, there is no opportunity to de-escalate because you've hardcoded every outcome. The suspect no matter what I do is set to flee, fight or surrender. I also found this callout spawned in random locations, most often in the middle of the road. It would be better to use some fixed positions here, or get positions on a pavement. Most people with knives don't run onto roads. Welfare Check Request: "Sometimes the most routine calls have the biggest impact" This callout never has the biggest impact, because there is only one outcome where their phone died. So that's just...not true. It is clear you've copied United Callouts for lots of this...though didn't include the license or any credit to it. Bit cheeky. [UC] Welfare Check Request is how this callout shows up in-game. Bit of a giveaway. Weapon Found: "Investigate reports of found weapons. Collect evidence, question witnesses, and secure the scene." I found this callout a bit disappointing. You spawn a weapon, spawn a ped which says "I found a weapon" and then call it a day. It would've been awesome if the witness shared a description of the suspect...you could track the home address of the registered weapon...or anything at all that gives the callout more of a story. Warrant For Arrest I checked with LSPDFR and the ped was not wanted. Please make sure to mark them as wanted otherwise it conflicts with the story of the call. This callout only have 4 locations, which isn't much for such a huge map. I'd love to see some more, especially as it should work in lots of places across the map. Terror Attack Callout: "Face one of the highest risk scenarios in law enforcement: a major terrorism incident threatening the city." This callout starts a pursuit, every time. It would be great if the "highest risk" terrorist attacks someone. When you end the callout, the pursuit running doesn't end. It would be better if that was the case so you are fully ending the callout. That was my own personal experience. I hope my feedback is useful, actionable, and I look forward to seeing future updates and how you decide to take your callout pack further.
  16. I am not surprised, because the issue is categorically not caused by 686 Callouts. All the very best.
  17. Thank you for releasing an update! Wasn't on my bingo card - but can't wait to use it! :))
This is a callout pack. Well done Yobbin because what I got to play I am sure reflected the hard work and effort that evidently went into it behind the scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed playing - the calls are seriously unique, genuinely intriguing, and open-ended in a way that newer callout packs should learn from. Not simply open-ended (with nothing for you to do), but open-ended in a way that leaves you wondering "how am I going to approach this callout?" I can only wish others would follow the detail you've put into each call. In the spirit of being a LSPDFR player who actually gives useful feedback, I wanted to share some things I enjoyed, and a few niggles. I loved the property check up callout. It's one of those calls I could play hundreds of times and still enjoy it. It is completely realistic- yet you are none the wiser about what might be on scene. With Yobbin Callouts, you can't even guarantee that what you find is human...🐖 Thank you for not sending me across the map. After all, if I wanted to do that I'd be a pilot...not a police officer... While most likely unintentional, I actually enjoyed the shared house coordinates across calls. I had just attended a property check up call...nothing was there but the next call was the weapon found callout, which then led me straight back to that property. In my head - this felt satisfying - like it meant something! p.s the "press END if nothing here" notification shows only for the empty outcome - a bit of a spoiler! In the Stolen Cell Phone callout, not only do I love that you make the effort to see caller & then locate suspect...but you can then head back to the caller to return the phone. I know from experience that would've been much easier to code without- but it really made the call feel well rounded. I'd recommend deleting the suspect blip once you redirect the player to return to the caller, however. In the citizens arrest callout, the suspect was repeatedly referred to as he / him when it was a female ped. The LSPDFR callout scene was lucky to have you, and would be as equally lucky if you ever wanted to end that year-long hiatus... 😄
  18. Check out this: Thanks for using 686 Callouts 🙂
  19. ⚠️ Support Notice - Comment Section Not Monitored ⚠️ I no longer monitor this comment section. Please visit my Discord instead where I'd be more than happy to have a chat.
  20. The callout isn't supposed to end when the vehicle explodes. IRL if the police see a car explode, do you think they just Code 4?! As LtSnoDawg69 has kindly mentioned, the END key option is provided for this scenarios. Thank you, this has been corrected!
  21. @JapanesePoliceOfficer I was unable to replicate your issue unfortunately. I had a clean game installed, but also added Ultimate Backup for testing. Correlation is not causation, and this issue is strange but beyond what I could cause in my Terrorist Attack callout. Perhaps it is another mod conflicting, it is difficult to know. Sorry! To update you, this will be included in the next update.
Finally, I can live my dreams of being a mysterious detective. This callout pack is unlike any other (detail, storyline & complexity). Fantastic for people looking for a proper crime scene - my patrol was held up for over an hour trying to get to the bottom of a murder! (I arrested the wrong person in the end...)
