AlexLCPDFR got a reaction from ApolloGaming in Model Issue - Dodge Ram 3500The problem is with the shaders. I don't remember which one it is, it may be using the grey texture, but the shader is messed up. I fixed it by switching it to an interior2 shader, but you can make it mesh if you want dirt.

I was wondering- IV has a prison on the map that isn't used at all, so here's my thought- why not include this as an addon script to PDFR?
Here's my ideas that could be included;
Once PDFR has been started, there could be a corona outside the prison that teleports you inside and starts the script's callouts.
Callout ideas:
Prisoner inspection - a line of 6-7 new inmates could spawn outside the prison main building. Each one needs to be frisked and ID'd. Prisoner transfer - A new inmate needs to be escorted to the prison from a variation of locations - The airport, a police station, docks etc. If used in EFLC, the prison bus could be used for this. Yard fight- two inmates brawling in the yard. break up the fight and escort offenders to solitary (the inaccessible fenced-in yard in the prison) Prison riot - this could be 8 or 9 inmates throwing molotovs and brawling in the prison (in rare cases guns can be used). break up the riot. Escape callout - an inmate has jumped the fence and is escaping (variations- either on foot or in a stolen car) Hostage situation- an inmate is holding a guard hostage demanding an escape car. either talk the inmate down (there could be a Y/N talk process, or a progress bar etc.) or snipe him before he snaps. Mass escape - 8 or 9 inmates are running free in lower Alderney. recapture them. So what do you think- can an idea like this be scripted to work with 1.0? it would definitely add more life to patrols in Alderney.

AlexLCPDFR got a reaction from HankVoight in L1 issues need fixing..If it's unlocked, load the model/textures in Zmod. In Select -> By Name, type _L1. Click show all in the hierarchy and delete them. Then Select -> By Name, type _L0. Create -> Copy. Rename the new _L0's to _L1. Export and enjoy.

AlexLCPDFR reacted to Him1250 in HQ DSF 2008 CVPINot to sound like a dick here but why not edit the CVPI yourself to feature those new taillights aswell as finish fitting the HQ interior? You're not gonna learn anything from having other people do the work for you. At one point, a lot of the people in the IV car modding community were just like you asking people to do things for them. My only piece of advise, keep your head down and do things on your own. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

AlexLCPDFR got a reaction from RPILL in Removing seats?The best way would be to go into polygon mode under the chassis, choose "Separated" under "Select..." and select the seats. Make sure you have it all selected then delete it. When you are done, remember to create new L1s and L2s of the chassis_L0. You might want to remove the seat_d/pside_r, not sure if you need them for the K9 script though, but you wouldn't put a human in a K9 cage.

Btw By having the veshares in zmod, do you mean having them full mapped to the car?
