HashTagHell got a reaction from Lennyy in O'neil Ranch on Fire?OK. Not surprisingly, I ended up removing Enable All Interiors, and the above issues have been remedied.
-
HashTagHell reacted to Lennyy in O'neil Ranch on Fire? That sounds plausible. If you fix it, perhaps give us an update in case anybody has a similar issue in the future.

HashTagHell reacted to Lennyy in O'neil Ranch on Fire? While I cannot explain to you why that is in your game, I can tell you where it comes from.
The plane is from the mission "Caida Libre", which has you shoot down the aircraft from the observatory with a sniper rifle. You then follow the plane into Blaine County, where it crashes.
The burning farmhouse is from the mission "Crystal Maze" in which Trevor enters the O'Neil ranch, kills a few of the family members and then sets the mansion on fire. I went there in my 100% savegame, and the plane isn't there, nor is the house on fire. It burnt down.
I'm guessing that is due to some mods you have installed in your game.

HashTagHell reacted to cherryaerie in Stuck inside of vehicleI figured this out this morning the hard way and only figured this out because I had been talking to the developer of the mod as I was doing it, so "credit" for this answer goes to him, I am just sharing it.
SimpleCTRL checks for your seatbelt to be enabled/disabled in the game, so when a mod like Faya's Seatbelt or Simple Trainer "enables" your seatbelt, it doesn't allow you to leave the vehicle (as intended), so please for the love of sanity, do not go to the mods download section and claim its a bug.
Anyways, if you have a trainer, ensure your vehicle's god mode is disabled, and your seatbelt is disabled through the trainer and any mod. You may need to enable and disable the seatbelt option in your trainer.

We've just released another minor compatibility update for LSPDFR 0.4.8 (Build 7688) which further improves compatibility for the latest version of GTA V (v2189) - The Cayo Perico Heist.
The changes in this updated version of LSPDFR are mainly technical in nature, including our internal pathfinding and LSPDFR engine tweaks to support pursuits, backup and some other aspects of LSPDFR on the new island.
Aside from this, there are a number of smaller changes:
The optional player holster/unholster animations added in LSPDFR 0.4.7, but disabled in the first release of 0.4.8 for compatibility reasons, have been re-enabled. Player character voices are now persistent across game sessions. A couple of new API functions have also been added or tweaked (see this post for details)
Note that LSPDFR does not load the Cayo Perico island by default. If you wish to play LSPDFR on Cayo Perico, you will need to use another mod to load it such as the Cayo Perico Island for Single Player mod by @Vincentsgm
Also, as the Cayo Perico island was developed exclusively for GTA Online and does not have its own police or fire services, we have been forced to make a couple of decisions as to how LSPDFR should work on it by default, without other mods or custom settings:
Cayo Perico now comes predefined in our XML data, with the Park Rangers as the default agency. Calling EMS or Fire will still result in the LSFD responding. Similarly, air units will default to the LSPD. Some features, when on Cayo Perico, such as callouts may not work as efficiently as they normally do.
Do note that you can easily change each of these settings by modding LSPDFR:
How to use the Custom folder and avoid overwriting original LSPDFR files Full Documentation for LSPDFR's data files
As always, you can find this new version of LSPDFR on the main LSPDFR page, here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/lspdfr

I am a first responder in a diverse city who has seen all of this first-hand. The United States is a police state.
Police in the United States are, for the most part, completely unaccountable. Police unions have applied pressure to politicians who refuse to criticize or reform them, and prosecutors who need good relationships with police so they rarely prosecute accusations. It is lucky to have a cop fired, let alone charged and convicted. Officers who do face consequences are often times rehired by other departments. Police in the US are famous for brutality, acquisition (legalized theft) of private property, and proven racial disparity in terms of arrests, aggressive policing, use of force, and murder. Justification for police murder is often times based on vague things such as the fear of the officer. Civil rights and First Amendment violations are not terribly uncommon, and rarely have consequences. All of this is perpetuated by a for-profit prison industrial complex, military industrial complex that profits off of police militarization, and an inhumane war on drugs. Cities are spending millions (sometimes billions) of dollars on police budget inflation as social services suffer, with no proven impact on crime.
The protests/rioting you are seeing in the news are a result of ALL of this, in addition to socio-economic conditions created by decades of austerity and exacerbated by an inept response to coronavirus. Currently, we are seeing widespread and disturbing police brutality in every city across the country, with pretty much no signs of accountability. It is a massive escalation of state violence on peaceful protesters. Use of tear gas, rubber bullets, and physical violence is rampant.
Get triggered by this, I don't care. Needs to be heard. Won't be debating, it'll just get shut down anyway.
If you love your country, you must be willing to criticize it.

HashTagHell reacted to Keith. in 2018 Ford Taurus SHOSo, I finally managed to download this SHO this morning after waiting for what seemed like an eternity for the whole pending review thing to be sorted out. If I remember, I'll keep you updated on it's progress.
I've just started separating the body shell and doors, so it's early stages yet.

HashTagHell reacted to BlueGhost in POLICE VEHICLE VARIANTSI've wondered how people can make mistakes when identifying the police vehicles that they use. It may just be me being a full throttle autist (I am), but it irks the hell out of me when people use incorrect terminology. So, I wanted to make a thread (hopefully in the correct forum) about the vehicles that people use, and using their proper designations.
ACRONYMS:
LPV, LIMITED POLICE VEHICLE
PPV, POLICE PURSUIT VEHICLE
SSV, SPECIAL SERVICE VEHICLE
CHEVROLET
CAPRICE PPV
IMPALA LPV
TAHOE PPV
TAHOE SSV
SILVERADO SSV
DODGE
CHARGER PURSUIT
This one bugs the ever loving piss out of me. It's not "PPV".
DURANGO PURSUIT (INTRODUCED IN 2018)
DURANGO SSV
RAM 1500 SSV
FORD
SOME of you feel the need to lump the POLICE INTERCEPTOR variants in with the CIVILIAN variants by labelling them as such. You couldn't be more wrong. It infuriates me to no end when I see TAURUS wheels on a POLICE INTERCEPTOR SEDAN. Yes, the new POLICE INTERCEPTOR variants are based on the Taurus, Fusion, and Explorer, but they DO NOT CARRY THE SAME NAME. The Crown Victoria is the exemption in this case.
CROWN VICTORIA (LX TRIM LEVEL)
CROWN VICTORIA POLICE INTERCEPTOR
POLICE INTERCEPTOR SEDAN
IT'S NOT A TAURUS.
POLICE INTERCEPTOR UTILITY
IT'S NOT AN EXPLORER.
F-150 POLICE RESPONDER
F-150 SSV
POLICE RESPONDER HYBRID SEDAN
SSV PLUG-IN HYBRID SEDAN
EXPEDITION/MAX SSV
Get your shit right.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

HashTagHell reacted to MattCC16 in Starting LSPDFR for the first timeBasically every Bejoijo mod. He is one of the best if not the best LSPDFR modder.
Stop The Ped is amazing and it has so many features. So, so so many. Includes stopping people, moving them, drug/alcohol tests, drug tests to do on scene with your car, searching vehicles and peds, arresting peds, stopping traffic, calling prisoner transport or taking suspects to the station yourself, calling animal control, coroner, tow trucks... and taser lasers in the latest update)
Ultimate Backup is also fantastic. You can call backup and they will stay on scene, you can tell them do stuff for you (with Stop The Ped), you can get partners, get realistic traffic stop and felony stop backup, you can dismiss certain officers or all of them, and during a pursuit you can request spike strips or roadblocks.
He also has 2 callout packs and ALPR Lite and SpeedRadar Lite, both of which are great to use for traffic related things. Compulite is also a great police computer.
https://bejoijo256.wixsite.com/bejoijo/home/
As for other mods:
There are a ton of callout packs... you can choose which ones you would like. I use both of Bejoijo's callout packs, Assorted Callouts, Super Callouts, United Callouts, PeterUCallouts (this one is amazing). Traffic Policer is a plugin with ambient traffic related events, as well as a few calls, and other features (traffic cones, barriers).
Police Smart Radio is also pretty nice to have. You can quickly run plates and ped names. It has integration with lots of other mods, like Bejoijos for panic buttons for example.
A few other mods are good to have, like Force a Callout, Rich's Police Enhancements...
I know, there are a ton of plugins alone. There are even more to choose from but these are some I would recommend to first time players. Hope this helps! Have fun playing LSPDFR!
