  1. Looks good. By the way, the phrase is drunk and disorderly not "drunken disorderly." Keep up the good work.
  2. I think you mean unmarked, not undercover.
  3. I'm having the same problem. It's RAGE Plugin Hook not LSPDFR. I tried loading mine with no mods and no scripts and I have the same issue. Unfortunately you won't find much support here for RPH and their forums are down. Not that it matters, because the support over there sucks. I haven't been able to use it properly since 0.26. 0.27 and 0.28 are both archived in corrupted ZIP files that require third-party software to extract (another problem they refuse to acknowledge) and now I'm having the same issue as you have in your video but their forums are down so I can't even attempt to get support for it. I really wish they would get their shit together, RPH is an excellent product.
  4. Has anyone figured this out yet? I know that in GTA IV we had a visualsettings.dat mod that was used in conjunction with ELS that made the emergency lights reflect off of entities at a much further distance. The vanilla emergency lights in GTA V look great, but the reflection sucks. It only reflects off of objects within a few meters of the sides of the car. I looked through all of the parameters in the visualsettings.dat file (common.rpf/data/visualsettings.dat) and can't find anything to increase that really stands out. It would just be a lot more realistic if we could get them to reflect off of everything within like 2 city blocks like they do in reality. Any ideas are appreciated Edit: Sorry, maybe this should have been in the modding discussion forum.
  5. It's kind of hard to tell due to the quality of your pictures but it looks like you did a pretty good job.
  6. Not bad but the color is a bit bright. There's also no "Department of Safety" Such a thing doesn't exist in Michigan. The Michigan State Police is formally the Michigan Department of State Police. Also on the door seal, the yellow "triangles" behind the shield (or whatever you want to refer to them as)... the highest one always points up and towards the front, not up and towards the back. I'll be interested to see when someone makes an actual MSP model with the proper lighting and hood sign.
  7. Since OpenIV released the ability to import/export audio and several siren mods have already been uploaded here, it would be awesome if we could get an Audio Modifications section created in the Downloads area for Grand Theft Auto V.
  8. Yes. Just enable the ASI loader and the OpenIV ASI script from the ASI manager in OpenIV then start RAGE Plugin Hook. I used a siren mod with it today and it worked fine.
  9. I haven't seen a dedicated place on the forums to report bugs, so I decided to drop this in here. If you access your interaction menu while on a traffic stop the traffic stop menu disappears (obviously because it is replaced by the interaction menu) and is inaccessible. After a few seconds, the traffic stop will automatically end and the driver will drive away... but then some sort of memory leak or something occurs and your textures and models start slowly unloading around you and peds/vehicles start to disappear. We may want to put in a check to make sure the traffic stop menu is not open when the player tries to open the interaction menu.
  10. @LMS - I have basic programming knowledge/logic. If identifying these natives is some sort of repetitive task of trial and error I am willing to help if you can instruct me on how to do so. As far as I can see the more people who can help the quicker the modding community can take off.
  11. In this update if you are in an emergency vehicle and you hit your siren button 3 times your siren will glitch and it will allow you to activate your lights without your siren. It's been tested by myself on PS3 and by someone else on Xbox in several police vehicles. I'm assuming it's a glitch since we haven't been able to figure out a way to reactivate the siren yet.
  12. Cool setup, but I would like to point out that it is in fact illegal if your forum account's Location on your profile is correct. According to the Nova Scotia vehicle code (I looked out of curiosity) it is illegal to equip any vehicle driven upon a highway with red, blue, or flashing lights of any kind. Also note that according to the interpretation section "vehicles operated upon a highway" are vehicles that may be driven on a public roadway. So it doesn't actually mean that you can equip them and keep them off when you are driving, it's basically saying that unless it's like a show car or project car or whatever you can't have them on there. If you use that car to drive on the road it's illegal. I'm not trying to be an ass, I just hate seeing young people who are too eager to get into law enforcement get in trouble for stupid stuff like this because they can't wait a few years. My personal advice, keep those bad boys on there but don't let anyone see them. Nice ride though man, looks like a nice clean vic.
  13. Okay, I'm sure that through searching and reading the manual I missed something, so please don't get upset if it's something obvious I missed or a bug that's already been announced by I can't find anything on this... The ELS siren in multiplayer doesn't work. I can only get the standard siren to work. The manual and everything else in ELS works except for the main ELS siren on/off. Thanks, any help is appreciated...
  14. Old thread, but I do hope you realize that every modern police car has both a stereo system AND a police radio (obviously). If there was no music in police cars half of the LEOs in the world would be falling asleep at the wheel...
  15. Why does he have his gun drawn to his head? lol..
  16. Sam I think the only solution to all of our problems is to hack into R* and steal the source code. Imagine the possibilities... :woot:
  17. Well that's obvious. :P What I was referring to is the limitations of the game api and scripthook. I just don't see it being possible. I could definitely see it possible in GTA:SA though since they have in-game tow trucks.
  18. Yeah I use reckless for most moving violations at the moment.
  19. Towing is a DESPERATELY needed feature in GTAIV. Especially with LCPDFR. However I don't see it happening in GTAIV unfortunately :(
  20. This is true however most of the time the car you are chasing has some heavy damage because they drive on the sidewalk more than they do on the road. Plus I don't know if anyone else does this but I actually pay attention to what the driver looks like. It's happened to me before in game. I say it doesn't need to be added into the mod. It happens at a realistic enough rate in-game.
  21. Felony stops would be nice, but I agree with Sam that from a programming aspect it would be difficult. You would have to have backup units strategically place their cars in a felony stop formation and getting each NPC officer to keep the suspect at gunpoint without firing their weapon would be difficult as the in-game AI is telling the officers to shoot. If you ever noticed this, as soon as you initiate a pursuit the AI officers open fire. The only way I could ever see anything this advanced being possible is if you stripped all NPC officers out of the game and had the mod spawn all officers in the game as well as develop logic and control for their actions. Which would be an extremely large amount of work and would be virtually impossible unless you wanted to wait 10 years for the next release of FR :P
