  1. Will customizable buttons come in the future? I use those buttons for my ELS, and although I have already moved my corresponding ELS buttons it would be nice if you can customize the buttons to use. Also plate numbers? Will those be implemented. In my opinion the plate numbers to me are more important than the color of the car, since you have the marker that indicates what car we are suppose to be going after. Another thing I thought about when I was playing was using the marker for cars that are in the red (unless that may require to much). I know that many cars may pass by depending on what your red number is set too. May be unstable. You have done an amazing job here, and I can finally see the circle marker more clearly since it is blue and not white. I know that was a gripe of mines in some other scripts. I feel as if I can finally sit at the bottom of the hill and catch car speeds at the top before they see me and slow down. Good to see you back man, bravos.
  2. I follow Washington D.C. rules unless posted Speed Limit. City - 25 Highway - 30
  3. It does, but that has nothing to do with ELS itself. It has to do with the modders Mapping ELS to function on their models that way. Some models already use this feature and they started it with an older ELS version.
  4. @ blueline the Lights are easy to change using a paint program.
  5. Very nice video. What were those "First Responder" commercials for? Is that the game crashing or what?
  6. Well, its not the worse Ive seen, but man. That may take some time to grow on people. I am indifferent.
  7. Well I know about that workaround too. Oh you dirty cops lol.
  8. I have noticed that this is no longer an option in 1.0a (& 1.0). Was this removed for stability or something similar? I believe re-implementing the leave suspect option after arresting would be a good idea for those using add-on maps. I installed Route 66 and sometimes they run from the traffic stops, so after I arrest them I know that calling for backup can be buggy. Obviously there is no police station out there and the option to leave suspect is no longer there. Anyone else think this is a good idea? Also if there is a workaround (other than reloading scripts all the time) or its already implemented in some other way, please let me know.
  9. Yes, here is the version from GPM by VooDerpy. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=2193
  10. Although I have had cars slide to a stop in front behind and all over sometimes randomly. If you push M, I havent found out what that does yet. It opens like a little search area on the map. And I found that when I push M the search area shows up on the HUD and cars start skidding to a stop.
  11. I kinda like the paintjobs. Just leave the car stock. (Wheels) and then add the lighting setup. Without those tire covers on it would actually look Boss out on the streets.
  12. Same as geeekfleet1 my game crashes instantly with this car in Vehicles.img
  13. Looks good what you have so far. Im guessing there is no way to remove the first pair of street lamps? If not its okay, just an inquiry before everyone else asks.
  14. This will be good to try out, definitely will do it for my next session. As far as the callouts, that is why they implemented the API. they wanted us to get in on the fun too. Right now there are two people (publicly) working on more callouts. I dont see this in the ini? Anyone know where to find it?
  15. Im all for same sex marriages. My religion is against it as well but my religion also says that God is the judge and I am not to judge my neighbor so who am I to keep someone from doing something they want to do. Not everyone is religious or follows the Bible (or any other religious text). So I cant say that just because I follow religion you should too. It just isn't right.
  16. I wish you would have done the preview in the daytime. Can Barely see the signs. Screenshots of the sign are nice and all but some in-game would really do good.
  17. What did you change the value to for the ELS lights? I may give this VuckoENB a shot.
  18. Yes +1 to the idea. Would be interesting and increase T-Stop time.
  19. I agree, I cant remember what thread I posted it in but I also suggested that when you call for backup, that it isnt always just so that they can help shoot suspects. When I call for backup I would like them to be there for a T-Stop in case things go haywire. I would like for them to stand near the ped and watch them if I am checking their ID or frisking them. Just a wait and see type deal right now.
  20. Yeah I saw the same thing happen and I thought to myself, what the heck AI. Then I remembered a fat cop was in front of the car at one point and the suspect tried to ram the cop with the car, and the AI opened fire. I thought it was the most realistic thing I saw in a long time. The AI are no longer gun hoe and I havent seen them shoot when it is unwarranted yet with 1.0
  21. Shooting the suspect is fine and dandy, but I am mainly worried about frozen blimps on the map or the keys not working. Plus sometimes you want to sorta be realistic and that sucks when you have to shoot AI for no good reason.
  22. Today, I was pulling over a bansee with a driver not wearing the seat belt. The driver fled and I gave chase and called in the pursuit. After about 3 minutes we boxed in the car and arrested the old lady. I called for transport and the officers that assisted me pointed the guns at her and all that jazz. However they did not take her into the car or anything and she was just stuck in her spot. So I thought to myself okay ill just leave the scene and it will clear. Well this was not the case. I drove fairly far away and thought I could continue on patrol. I came up upon a vehicle (ALPR in use) that had a Suspended License Marker. So I attempted to pull over said vehicle and could not. The button wouldn't work. All my LCPDFR buttons stopped working. I couldn't call for backup or pull anyone over. I tried the ALT + E button to update status but it didn't work either. This is not the first time this has happened and the last time was a drunk driver call that spawned a blimp on the map but when I got to the blimp it was no car, no person, nothing. Just a frozen blimp and nothing I could do about it. I am wondering if LCPDFR team could implement a "All Clear" button that would remove the scene from memory or the game or however it works. Like Braveharts script where you could press a button and it would put you back to available for calls after removing whatever you were working with. Anyone else having this problem? What do you guys think of this suggestion?
  23. How about as someone mentioned, calling in the AI to deal with a traffic stop while you do one as well. Better yet, calling in an AI officer for assistance on the T-Stop. I pulled over a stolen vehicle with two people inside and I called Noose Backup (I was playing state patrol in a fbi vehicle) to help. They arrived and all got out and took positions. However it would be cool to have them show up and act like how your partner would. By aiming at the car or person your dealing with.
  24. Yeah the MDC used to be where all that went down but it was taken offline. There may be another one in the works, as a matter of fact multiple ones are in the works.
  25. Do you have the right Coordinates for the spotlight? Do you have Spolight v1.1? The script would crash if I didnt install the light correctly or when I had the wrong coordinates (sometimes). Also make sure your using a vehicle that is spotlight enabled in the ini.
