  1. Provided things go well the update tomorrow I plan on doing a story campaign. Give the officer character a name and hopefully present a good story from the perspective a cop in Los Santos.
  2. Okay got locations, car models 90%, colors, police alphabet and numbers recorded. I'm also getting more people interested in recording as well.
  3. Getting recording done. For now it will be simple things to establish a foundation to see how things need to be set up. However the Male Cop will have all of the Cop Alphabet A-Z, Numbers, Efforts, and some generic statements done.
  4. Hello again @Sam So problem, 10 codes aren't universal. Do you think I should use LAPDs 10 codes since LSPD is based off them? 10-95 for the Agency in my town is "Officer Needs Assistance" 10-95 according to a chart I'm looking at means "Prisoner/Subject in custody" Also I'm going to update the dispatcher and I'm getting in touch with a friend that does sound effects. That way the dispatcher will do something like this "1-Lincoln-18 we have a 10-31 in *keyboard typing* Strawberry" For the dispatcher I'm going to get as much of the actual codes as I can get done. So someday when LSPDFR reaches that point you're going to have all the audio for the call outs you'll need. I'm getting some more voice actors and actresses and I expect to get going on this soon.
  5. Sorry @Sam I set the tracks to private and used the wrong links 😞 Let's see if these will work 🙂 Male Cop Test Female Cop Test Thank you for your interest in this project. I look forward to knowing your thoughts and if there some audio that can be done. Depending on the success of this project and it's usefulness as a resource, I'd like to include more voices for officers, suspects, and citizens. But in the end just clean audio that can hopefully be used.
  6. I'm really liking what some of the developers are coming with. I don't know a single thing about coding other than I can't do it. However, I do know a tinly bit of something about editing audio. Having said that I decided to work on an audio resource for mod developers to use. To give you an idea of what I'm going for I'll include a couple of links that you can listen to. What my goals are is to have audio made that developers can use to make and improve their various mods. 7. Hello, I enjoy the work you put into your mod, I found that the light bar for the vanilla cruiser was mostly white lights while the coronas were red and blue. Could this be due to an error on my part? If so I'll re-double my efforts to make sure I did things correctly. No problem on the other vehicles which look great! Thank you so much.
  8. Hello LMS Thank you for the welcome! It's good to be here. What I meant by characters, are NPCs that can be added to the police station. for instance the Briefing room can have an NPC that's a Sargent who can brief officers about specific matter to look out for. Example Vinewood is experiencing an increasing amount of drug activity and officers are to patrol that area more frequently and arrest drug dealers. I will certainly visit the api development forum. I really appreciate what you are all doing to make LSPDFR the police game many have dreamed about.
  9. I really appreciate the new dynamic these mods, created by all of these talented people, are bringing to LSPDFR. I've spent years looking for a decent cop game and I think I found one. I know I'm greener than a grasshopper; however, I'm wondering if there is a way to add more call outs, or characters. If there is a way then I can get some voice actors and do a little audio work and create a resource file that mod authors can use when they get around to it. I think it would be neat to do some investigating and have certain calls be part of a larger story. Of course as the FNG I may be wasting time because there could very well be a mod that is doing what I'm suggesting. Having said that, please accept my humblest apologies if that is the case.
