Just FYI I am not working anymore on any of my GTA IV mods, nor do I provide support for them. As for that bug, it's unfixable anyway.

He is not a Sheriff anymore, he was defeated in recent elections.

It should work fine if you just put it in popgroups.

Police won't spawn without the SixStarResponse scripts, and make sure you have both Script hooks for them to work. As for the crash, it could either be resource related, or one of crashes we are trying to narrow down and fix.

That's an absolute lie - if you had bothered to check our forum thread, you would see that the mod is very much away from "abandoned". Furthermore, team members are very much active in the comment section of the file, helping users with problems. We are working hard on an update bringing new content and fixes. Stay tuned.

National Guard is getting some love as well <3

We are working hard on the next version, and we should have a changelog soon. However, most of our team members, including me and @dilapidated are currently focusing on real life issues and commitments (I have finals in two weeks!). The next update is going to bring a lot of new content and bugfixes, as well as an innovative new installation method that was created by @dilapidated and @Jax765 which does not use dlc.rpf files in order to deal with 48 dlcpacks limit.

We have fixed some stability issues in the upcoming update, it should help. For the record, I do not experience any crashes in that area.

I have never used Map Editor, so I am afraid I cannot help you here.

Go to OpenIV -> Tools -> Hash Generator, switch to Hex in the lower left corner and just type in the names of the peds/vehicles/other models like this: s_m_y_sheriff_02 then click generate. This works for all added content, regardless of the mod of origin.

We are working on it, no worries.

This method removes all of RDE's changes, save for added models and textures, just FYI.

It's a shame there isn't a gamer advocacy and law defense group akin to eg. Electronic Frontier Foundation. I don't know much about Aussie law, but I am pretty sure that if gamers could organize, Channel 7 could be sued for libel/slander due to their failure to portray the subject in a truthful and factual manner, as well as attacking the community by painting a false image of it, not to mention outright lying.
