Nutleaf got a reaction from CHEFBOG in HEROCOP BETA 0.5 Crashing
HEROCOP BETA 0.5 is crashing after I go on duty and goto the "Make a partner" area and after I make my partner the Plugin crashes my LSPDFR.

I have now also switched from Computer+ to CompuLite as it started to give me compatability issues - just as a little sidenote

I use these core LSPDFR plugins to improve the gameplay:
Stop The Ped Ultimate Backup Traffic Policer Police Smart Radio CompuLite Interaction+ (I disabled the internal police computer since already have CompuLite) This combination of plugins is fairly stable with minimum performance (FPS) drop.

I personally run my game with any damage locational whatever witchery thing is called, basically if you get shot in your leg you stumble and bleed out or whatever, LAPD oriented cruisers but that's just personal preference, heli orbit as above stated and computer plus could work.
also callouts, as many as possible ((((((((((((if youre down with having 30 fps ))))))))))))))))

I had increased damage mod to where if you got shot more than twice you would basically die.

It was real hard to use and I ended up dying every single patrol numerous times but it was fun having the extra adrenaline.

K9 mod is definitely a must have if you enjoy having a bork bork make life easier on you and nom the bad guys so you don't have to chase them.  😂   These are all the must haves I use every time I have to re-mod my game.  Some of these might not seem like they are directly LSPDFR related, but they do help with the RP overall.

    ELS
    CompuLite
    EUP
    StopThePed
    UltimateBackup
    Traffic Policer
    Spotlight
Vehicle Keys (lets you lock and unlock your car)
    Interaction+
    Smart Radio
    No reticle
Sitting mod (just lets you sit down on things)
Stance  (lets you actually crouch instead of hunching over like you have Scoliosis)
    Stop Reversing While Breaking
No On Crash Explosion  (you know, the stupid crashing upside down and your car blows up immediately)
    MoreLicensePlates
Bait Car - if there's an up to date working one, which I don't think there is currently.
    Heli Orbit Plugin
    ALPR lite
    Fuel mod

BetterEMS isn't needed if you have STP.  BetterEMS's intent was to make the EMS actually do something useful, which is also what BJ did with his mod as well.

I´d like to thank you for making thsi thread in the first place then!
I think this actually is a good topic.. so I´m kind of disappointed still that only Bastiona nd me contributed.. hm 😕

Anyway, another key element obviously are the plugins.
While Albo made a lot of plugins that are still used to this day, they unfortunately aren´t getting updates anymore. But that is okay, because other modders, like Bejojo for example are going to fill in that small gap and make more, and better versions eventually.
I think that "Stop the Ped" and "Ultimate Backup" are very usefull. Another Plugin I personally like a lot is "Better EMS"! I can only recommed that and have been using it for quite some time now.

Wow, I´m surprised and disappointed nobody responded to this..
I believe that EUP is definetely one of the more important things when it comes to Realism. Obviously script mods like Ultimate Backup and all the Callout Scripts are also very important, but I think EUP still adds a lot and might be forgotten in this discusion if not mentioned

I think ELS is a critical mod for realism. While the base sirens and lights provide an okay route for realism, having the ability to change the patterns is a good plus and having separate patterns for what you are doing. Another mod that goes hand-in-hand with ELS, is Modern Siren Packs. Same with ELS, the standard siren is alright, but it is nice to have more realistic sounding one when in a pursuit. It sounds a lot crisper and smoother than the default one.
