That can lead to some pretty bad outcomes and is not needed to solve this problem.
  12. Im going to add on that the primary solution for this is to: If the above solution doesn't work, then you should disabled Windows Defender, launch RPH, and once it gets past Validating Hook, re-enable Windows Defender. Under no circumstances should you leave it off.

  16. Try the following: Using Windows File Explorer navigate to: Grand Theft Auto V/update. Copy the update.rpf into: Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update. If you currently have an update2.rpf file in this directory - delete it. After that, make sure you rename _mods back to mods and try again.

  21. Yeah because your mods folder was disabled. Start by ensuring you update your mods folder. Using Windows File Explorer navigate to: Grand Theft Auto V/update. Copy the update.rpf into: Grand Theft Auto V/mods/update If you currently have an update2.rpf file in this directory - delete it. Once done, rename _mods back to mods and test.
