LCPDFR Dispatch Assistant
'Ello all! After a brief pause in work, I started up again with making this program. The very fist version (v1.1) can be found here: http://tfm.freeiz.com/ New versions will be released on a fairly regular basis, including new features. You all have the opportunity, and are welcome to submit your ideas and questions; infact they're appreciated! Stay classy, GtaGamerCop

The patrol reports are working out amazingly. This feature is cool for clans particular that like to publish records of their patrols afterwords. The system creates the report and spits it out to you so you can copy/paste it where ever you desire. The reports look like this: Patrol Report: Sun Feb 09 2014 22:08:39 GMT-0700 (Mountain Standard Time) ------------------ <<< CALL LOG Call Log [22:4]: Callout - Type: Drunken Pedestrian | Location: Broker/Dukes | Casualties: 0 | Unit(s): 403 [22:4]: Traffic Stop - Model: Admiral | Ocupants: 3 | Reason: Speeding | Unit: 403 [22:4]: Callout - Type: Shots Fired | Location: Willis | Casualties: 2 | Unit(s): 403, 301, 87, 102 [22:4]: Callout - Type: Domestic Disturbance | Location: Broker/Dukes | Casualties: 0 | Unit(s): 403 [22:4]: Officer in Need of Assistance - Officer: 403 | Location: Broker/Dukes | Status: Code 3 | Responding Unit: 78 ------------------ <<< STATS Traffic Stops: 1 Police Callouts: 3 Police Backup Requested: 1 The system will print all events that are registered into the system by a dispatcher and put them here. Obviously, for this demo, I only entered four events in the duration of one minute. The stats at the bottom are also there automatically. More stats will be added in the future. (casualties, police vehicles damaged, supervisors requested, ect)- LCPDFR Dispatch Assistant
PS: There's a small chance I'll add an in game portal if enough people want it. That way, the dispatcher could communicate with units through the dispatch panel into the game.- Seeking Clan
I've been there, and it seems to me more like a place for a quick game, whereas I'm looking for a clan to join and be part of as a regular thing. Thank you, though.- Seeking Clan
Hey all, Not too sure were to put this thread; feel free to move it, sorry if it's in the wrong place. I'm looking for a professional LCPD:FR clan with decent sized patrols that isn't still "starting up". If you're the owner of, or know of a good, professional clan please send me a PM as not to violate the community guide lines by dropping your answers in this thread. Thanks, GtaGamerCop- Police Trucks?
Here's a nice Silverado that I've used in the past: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> The search bar at the top of the site can easily be used to access tons of downloads, forums threads, and other cool things that you can think of, for future reference. ;)- Editable MDC
Oh, I see. I haven't seen the code, so I have no idea what'd work in this situation, but assuming a function would be run each time a user entered data to the table, you could, in theory, use the WAITFOR() method of SQL to prevent it from stacking on top of it's self. For example, WAITFOR DELAY '00:00:02' would pause it for two seconds I believe, between each entry.- Editable MDC
Ah, I see the issue. I'm not too sure what functionality C# has for database manipulations. Is it at all possible to use PHP or SQL within the C# language inside of the game engine it's self? If so, I can think up a few ways to get past that, but none of which are too stable.- LCPDFR Dispatch Assistant
I've got a BETA ready. Link will be at the bottom of this post. As of now, only functions listed under "Police Department" and "Extras" work, other will be added soon. To add a call for the police, mouse over "Police Department", then click on "New Callout", and fill in the required fields. Once you click the submit button, it will be added to the call board. Same thing for Traffic Stops, but with slightly different criteria. Planned Features to Add: - Hot key functionality - Officer requesting assistance - Live map - EMS, Fire and DOT functions - Printable 'after patrol report' - Multiple dispatcher support - Individual department customizations - Sounds - Finish user interface (It's about 30% done right now…) - Add more patrol statistics - Define pre-set calls for easy dispatching Please, leave suggestions and feedback on this thread so I can work to improve this software for the community! http://htmltestinggrounds.hostei.com/random/TriggerFistDispatch/TriggerFistDispatch.html- Editable MDC
This isn't a hard feature to code into the system, however it would require a massive amount of SQL storage to contain the data stored by hundreds of thousands of users. A simple function that checks if someone by the name you've entered is already in the system, then it gives you the option to add notes, and if it's not exciting already it could simply input the name and data to a new field. Not too hard in theory. I like the idea.- LCPDFR Dispatch Assistant
Yes, it would indeed work for all role-play agencies. (Fire, EMS, Police, DOT, ect). I plan to make the interface look similar to that of an actual dispatch system. I'll likely have a beta out shortly, and I'll put a link to it in this thread. If you guys have any features you'd like to request, now is a great time to voice them, before I've got the core coded and done with. :)- LCPDFR Dispatch Assistant
Hello LCPDFR fans, I've been assigned the project of coding something for the public domain to use as part of my computer science final. As I do most days, I turned on my LCPDFR for a taste of the action and the glory of policing the streets of Liberty City when I came to the idea of creating an interactive dispatch system for clans to use freely that would be used as an internet application for clan dispatchers to monitor calls, units, and their locations during a patrol. Now, before I set out to make something like this I was curious to get some common consensus or opinions on the idea, maybe some suggestions, too. Thanks guys, GtaGamerCop- Neighbors house caught fire
I call bullshit as well. For different reasons than Jewish_Banana, but his reasons are very valid as well. *If* you took this from inside your house as a fire was going down right outside, your window would be black with soot from the fire, and you'd hence be able to see the dark tint in the picture. Also, assuming you live in a country where there is a legitimate fire service, they would have evacuated you so far out of your house that the chances of snapping these pictures are damn near impossible. The greatest flaw with this; in that second picture there, it's clearly a stand alone house with non closely neighboring houses… So, yeah… PS: There is also no snow on the ground. :') I'm currently studying for my fire science major, and lemme' tell you, for a lie, this is poorly constructed and has too many flaws to even be comprehendible from a scientific standpoint.- LCPDFR 1.0a Hotfix
RCS943, That's attributed to the game's memory, and in 1.0 they've added a module that stops this from happening, that's why there's a 'lil car blip on your map, as it's saved to memory, however if you're running with not enough RAM, it's possible that the game negates the required memory elsewhere instead of attending to the car.- Faster Way to Mod Cars?
You could try a sister program to SparkIV called OpenIV, not sure how much quicker you'll get it done, but no, there is no way to do it through Window's directory of the game without using SparkIV. As for the amount of cars you can put in, that is very heavily dependent upon your computer and it's specs.- George Zimmerman Arrested Again
Jesus-fucking-Christ, guys. Do you all know how many people draw a weapon on someone else every day? Do you know how many people DIE every day? Why should we care so much about this one guy, who really isn't any different from the next ass-hole who kills kids and points guns at people. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this is all non-legitimate information that a news team blew out of proportions. This'd be a head line that actually may be something the country needs to know about: '> (Warning - Gory content) But, c'mon. Mr. Zimmerman is not something the whole country needs to be concerned about. In my town, roughly 2,532 cases of domestic violence is reported annually. Domestic violence is when there is a weapon involved in a domestic family or home property situation, for those of you who didn't know. And, yes, they can get ugly and dangerous. But it drives me absolutely mad when the news shows just this one guy, out of ALL the others on the news and totally abliterates his chances of having a normal life. Hell, his chances of working at a McDonald's have been wrecked by the media now. (Dear those who do not agree with me, Please make a reply to this comment. I'm interested in what you've got to say.)- A Question For Role-Play Community Leaders...
Seems fishy and like a scam honestly. I'm a web developer my self, and I can tell you that hosting a web page can cost about $5 a month. You say you're not going for any personal monitory gain, but, that seems odd to me. Why release something to the public like this if you're not going for a profit? Please note that I am not accusing you of any crimes, wrong doing, or anything at all really. I just find it suspicious for some reasons that may or may not be understandable. It may just be that you haven't done research on reliable cheap hosts, and if that's the case I'm sorry you've been paying that much money for hosting. Infact, this website offers free hosting that works just fine, or you can even get primum hosting pretty damn cheap. http://www.000webhost.com/ I use them to host most of my crap, and it seems to work just fine. Hello, I'm wording how people create peds? Is it similar to the cars where you just need to color a template, or is it more like creating models with the 3D programs? Any help is appriciated, Gtagamercop - Are kids smoking weed younger than ever?
