  1. Wow, well I wanted to say something silly and sarcastic, but you made me laugh soooo there's that. 😄
  2. 😀Inspiration (hopefully): G17 loves😍 LSPDFR and wants it to be released--even more than we do. They want it to be as perfect as it can be--even more than we do. They are [probably 😉] not withholding a release (or an exact release date)for the joy of watching us writhe around on the forums in "agony"--but I'm sure they appreciate the love their project receives, even if it might be expressed in a less than desirable way. Need something to help pass the time and take the edge off? Start creating a back story and persona for your new character: Name, age, gender, etc. Why did he or she become a cop in Los Santos/Blaine County? Was he a native? Did she move there later in her childhood/ life? Patrol cop or undercover? Preferred style of uniform? (Formal, Class C, street clothes, bike cop [motor or pedal?] etc.) What type of unit will he drive the most? Will she prefer a sidearm or a heavier weapon? Which area/jurisdiction will she focus on for most of her career and why? Will he spend the majority of his time working traffic infractions (there's something to be said for a relaxing evening of ticketing illegally parked cars or running radar) and looking for warrants. Or will she be passionate about stopping drug traffic, gang activity, or stopping fights and petty crimes around town--what will be his specialty? What style of enforcement will your character have--strictly "by the book," heavy handed--quick to strike, or even a bit unstable? Will he or she have a certain hobby in the world to pass the time? (At the range practicing? Bowling (*shudder* sorry GTAIV memories creep in)?) Sure this is just role-play but hey it's an open world and your imagination adds loads to this game. So who knows what we will all do or how it will work out? We will! Sooner than we realize this whole waiting game will be a silly memory so don't go crazy while we wait, it's almost over. If we can respect each other and remember not to let our excitement and anxiousness turn to frustration that we then use to lash out at each other, the last few days--however many they may be--can be enjoyable.
  3. Me: 4:45AM -- Check LSPDFR website--*sigh* Also Me: 😌No matter what happens here today, take time to enjoy the weekend. Still Me: I haven't been this excited for a release of any game in a while. 🙂 It's a good feeling. Alright, off to the real world for today.
  4. Exciting times. I played this a while back and enjoyed it--the biggest issue was the instability of the program at times for me. But this new update looks great, I reinstalled GTA V and am ready to get back out on patrol.
Thank you for this mod! It is easily customized for personal preferences and it allows a greater margin for safety while patrolling--without sacrificing immersion (Unless you want it to, of course. Carry an LMG on duty, if you want to, I won't judge. ). OD Loadout should be under the essential mod category in my opinion. Great work!
This mod is a fantastic piece of work! The immersion it provides to every patrol is invaluable. It is easy to navigate and use. Thank you for your work on it!
This mod is basically a requirement for LSPDFR as far as I'm concerned. Along with its serve and rescue sibling, it enhances the look and feel of LSPDFR. The immersion it provides for your own character, with TONS of possible options as well as a create-your-own wardrobe option, is undeniably entertaining. Thanks for this mod!
This is a fantastic mod. A small addition, but one that proves more valuable and fun than you might realize. Once you use this on a nighttime patrol, you won't want to go without it again.
What a slick ride this is! It looks like the off-road king it is and has no problems lighting up all of nature as it travels through the forests and desert. (No, really--tons of lights. But they look and work for this vehicle, at least in my opinion)The ranger livery is my personal favorite. I haven't had a chance to use this a lot yet but it installs and works just fine.
I picked up this pack for the transport van. It looks great and serves as a fun visual addition to the fleet. I'm sure the rest of the vehicles in this mod are great as well, they just didn't fit my chosen color scheme for the PD's patrol/traffic fleets. Great work on this pack, thank you!
These are a great addition to any fleet. I was wary of the brown. However, once I saw it in game, it looks great while keeping a slightly more classic county sheriff's look--at least as I remember them from where I grew up. For my two sheriff's slots, I use the white on the Crown Vic and the brown on the Tahoe as my personal favorite color combinations for the given models. It took me a little bit to get used to the light bar, but it doesn't take away from the vehicles. In fact, the more I used them, I realized that they give a unique look to the fleet and helps to break up any monotony in the visuals of the LSPDFR gaming experience.
The red/white/blue scheme of these paint schemes adds a sense of pride and strength to LSPD in my opinion. And of course, the rotating lights look fantastic! I couldn't decide between a couple of Jedahdiah's packs. So, I combined the marked 2010 Crown Vic and 2014 Charger from this pack with the FPIS and the Tahoe from from his Los Santos Police Department (Atlanta PD Inspired) to create the image of a city PD that is experiencing growth. As such, Los Santos is now modernizing its fleet with new models, emergency equipment, and liveries. Though the white primary paint is a classic look, the transition to the blue combines a touch of the modern while keeping a callback to earlier days.
These are some great looking and functioning vehicles! The lights are suitable in terms of number and they look great. I couldn't decide between a couple of Jedahdiah's packs. So, I combined the marked FPIS and the Tahoe from this pack along with the 2010 Crown Victoria and 2014 Charger from his Los Santos Police Services Mega Pack (Toronto PD Inspired--I love those rotating lights!) to create the image of a city PD that is experiencing growth. As such, Los Santos is now modernizing its fleet with new models, emergency equipment, and liveries. The all blue scheme really stands out and these cars make a stark visual impact in any pursuit or incident. Bonus: I also added in the unmarked Explorer and Impala (DUI) from this pack for my own use in the FBI slots. Don't miss out on this pack!
A useful tool when I got stuck while dropping in some files during my first modding attempt. It works and helps to narrow down the issue causing an error.
Works as advertised. I can't say much more than that--it's required, download it. :)
What a fantastic mod! The streamlining of the post-incident events is vital while trying to manage a scene and the suspects involved helps mitigates the frustrations found in the easily spooked and inconsiderate GTA AI.
Stable and robust, this adds much life into a each shift and offers the chance to break up the monotony that might creep in during a patrol. The ability to customize the time tables and frequencies of these callouts gives great flexibility and adds a touch of personalized realism and more importantly enjoyment. Thank you!
What a great tool. It simplifies the menus and puts the necessary commands within a couple of keystrokes. The added compatibility with other mods along with the easily used customization options makes this indispensable for LSPDFR. Thanks!
This is a well thought out and packaged modding tool. The process might seem overwhelming at first, but follow the instructions and the videos, take it slow, and the modding should go smoothly. I've never modded GTA before now and I was able to replace stock GTA vehicles on my first try. Thank you!
This is a fantastic mod! Being able to move a stopped vehicle off of the road is of course eases much frustration, but all of the little details this adds to a duty shift makes it a requirement for LSPDFR in my mind.
