Well, you need to make sure you let people know whats up. You've not found a fix or an updated scripthook or hell, even a way to mod on the 1.0.8.0 patch. Downgrading to an older patch isn't a 'patch 8 modding bypass' you're just modding on 'patch 7'.

So, is the link provided you edited in to your original post alright to be used with the new patch? (1.0.8.0)

Sorry if I came across like that, I meant if I had to have one or the other. Chances are he will update the scripthook, it's just been a hell of a long time since he's had to, so i don't know if he could be bothered. He likes to do things his own way, even if people don't agree with him.

I understand that and agree, but I think i'd rather have a GTA 4 with the bugs from 1.0.7.0 but with all the supported mods that were made for it instead of a more stable GTA 4 with no mods. Fingers crossed Alexander Blade updates the script-hook so we can get the best of both worlds.

Will the flash light be added in the new version of LSPDFR from the new DLC? Would be a really nice addition.

You seem to think they care about you, and that they made the game just for you to play mods on, even though the PC modders are a really REALLY small minority and that's even on PC, these updates are global, both on the PS4 and Xbox one, so why do you keep thinking they care about the modding community? I know what you'll say, "Oh, modders increase the life time of a game" but rockstar are doing just that, and they're doing it on both consoles AND PC with a large amount of profit coming in too, so I doubt they'll ever just accept modding and and say fuck it, and never update it just for this tiny group of people who mod the game, you need to stop this entitled act and see you bought THEIR product, and you seriously have no right to tell them what to do with it, as well as a hell a lot of your opinions coming from pure bias and 'rage in he moment' thoughts. Little edit: If some of these updates get shipped with bugs, they obviously arn't going out their way to technically update their game twice for modders that they don't even support.

So you're telling me they intentionally throw out updates to kill modders? I really doubt that dude, and you don't understand, they're not doing this shit to fuck with us, they just don't give a shit about the repercussions on modders and their work, also you seem to think every person who bought it on PC uses mod's and all that jazz? If we went with your options of ditching updates, what about the people who enjoyed gta online like myself and a hell of a lot of other people do too? And wouldn't you be just as bad as rockstar, stopping one player base from enjoying a game it was intended to be made like, even though modding was NEVER intended for GTA and we're pushing everything past the boundaries? Accept this is how it is bro, they're not here to fuck with us, they're tending to the larger audience, there's a whole three consoles they can provide for and make profit from, and you make it sound like their updates are trash, from what i've seen they've all been solid polished updates, adding to the original game, which is like 2 years old now. It's selfish to think 'our type' of people are the only ones who should be tended to, and at the end of the day, rockstar's a business, they're not nobody's friend, they're going to make shit thats going tomake money, I hardly see mod support making them any money, as anybody who was going to mod gta 5 or use mods on gta 5 has already bought the game and it'll just be wasting resources as they're not making anything back. IF they wanted to kill modding, trust me, you'd know about it.

I understand people's pain but a lot of you act really childish about it, you need to understand Rockstar don't care about mods, or anybody making them, and no, it's not intentional, it's not 'the man' killing the community and wanting to destroy people's fun, it's them not thinking about mods when they make their game, because like i've said a million times, they don't support mods, it doesn't mean they hate them or love them, they just don't acknowledge them because it's not their problem.. Modding is a big part of PC gaming, but if Rockstar doesn't support modding,i'm sorry, but tough shit, we're still going to mod and I LOVE mods, don't get me wrong, but you all need to quit the entitled shit, the multiplayer is real fun with friends, and the updates are really cool, they could of ditched the game on PC updates wise, or NEVER released it in the first place so accept we have this great body to work with and that you're getting mods in the first place.

Of course this isn't a massive issue because a lot of the modders create their own callouts to add to LSPDFR anyway, but will there be any new additions in the new update when it comes to the callout's side of things? Also really looking forward to people using the new Benny lowrider update to create some dynamic events, maybe bumping in to some sort of noise disturbance with groups of people showing off their rides and it'll end in different scenarios.

i'm not going to blindly defend the dev's like a lot of people do, but It's only been 12 days man...you seem to forget this isn't full time, they all have their own jobs and stuff 10x more important then this, if you can't go and do something else till it's released i feel truly sorry for you.
