i do not think it is actually going to be happening. R* most likely knows the majority of the people who play this series(console-side mainly) do not play it for the realism. Personally, I would love to see this as I am similar to Michael's view on the game. The series is really one of few games that has been truly open world(minus buildings you cannot enter) and the amazing opportunity for being able to be in a real city. So for me having to get gas would be quite cool. But I highly doubt it will happen. Guess we'll find out when the game hits the streets!

Is that possible? I know from the IP Forums the clan I am apart uses the only feature is to require download to rate. Anyhow, there is just a lot of drama related to modding. Where you got the part, who gave it to you etc. It's worse than a bunch of girls at a high school lunch. Unfortunately people carry grudges and that's that. As most flaming events happen on the gallery and the download sections, would it be better to remove the download reviews and encourage users to create a forums post for WIP/REL? And I am not really sure how to prevent gallery flaming besides having maybe a moderator tasked with focusing on the gallery? On a side note, I find it ironic that there are arguments on this thread which is about stopping arguments :P

I'm gonna get into the most kick-ass pursuit ever. Like the old gtaiv days on PS3 for me. Haven't gotten in a pursuit since I started playing IV on PC so I will surely leave my mark. Especially with the open world!

For a first release I would say its pretty good. But as Hilth said, there are flaws. I would recommend adding a plate behind the LED modules as you are not supposed to be able to see within the lightbar. Also, I would recommend fixing up the hierarchy and materials for a v1.1

I never thought I would say this but Robert's initial point makes quite a bit of sense. The only difference between this and any other unlocked release is this is a lightbar that is not very used. This release will obviously change it but there are plenty of other lightbars to be made that can be kept in limited hands. Arguing and flaming is just gonna get us all into trouble. So why don't we all just acknowledge it is a good lightbar and move on? -
You know what, its your bar. Your decision. Ignore what I had said as clearly your decision will not be changed. I will end this with a note on the picture itself. You did do a pretty damn good job with it. I guess I would rather have a nice x2100 available to the public rather than a shit one. At least now we can get quality releases with it. Did you do this by modifying the 2700 or use 3ds or what?

One of the last lightbars not overrused. Thats why we "horde" this lightbar. Releasing it here would by like slitting your wrists in a feeding frenzy with sharks. Why dont you just PM it to people? You have a terrible outlook on this lol

Agree with that. Regardless of your level of skill, the community has standards. It does not matter if you are brand new to modding. Don't release something under those standards and then get butt hurt when people tell you the truth. What I see is a vehicle that has a lightbar on it, and probably took 5 minutes. It may have taken you longer due to the fact you are new, but looking at other recent models compared to this, it is not anywhere near their quality.

A Dcs is an airplane right? Maybe try an arma 2 or battlefield(project reality) website? if its not an airplane, maybe start one? Im pretty sure airplanes in gta dont really go well. not sure though.

I would recommend removing the tahoe tags as a police edition would not have anything besides the Chevrolet badge.
