As Chambers said, change diffusetint to '0x00FFFFFF'. If you still have the issue one solution I found is to go into the vehicle.ytd and find whatever is called glassdirt or something like that. Basically what makes dirt show up on windows. I've found that deleting that also helps clear windows and lightbars. (Note: I still change tint, even when I delete glassdirt.)

Are they showing up as enemies and attacking you? I don't remember the name but I know one of the more commonly used Trainers has an "Ambush" feature that activates by pressing either PageUp or PageDown (which are also used for the radar to increase or decrease the alert speed). That would be my guess as to what is happening. It happened to me too, I ended up just getting rid of the trainer and sticking with the simple one Rage comes with.

Saw some similar looking wrap around bars under both Go Industries and Setina but none that look exactly like that one.

My department is just transitioning to black vehicles. Chief is going with dark gray POLICE and city name lettering along with a simple blue stripe along the sides. All the lights are tinted to help them blend in better. It's kind of on the border between a ghost car and marked unit.

1. Yes, 2. No. I was going through the academy when I first played LSPDFR so I consider it to be somewhat law enforcement experience, at least real world law enforcement training. Since then I've been working at a small (12 officer) department and still play LSPDFR. Can't say I've learned anything playing other than it's fun to play as a cop with the only rules being what I feel like that day. I do try and play as real as I can most of the time, incorporating my real world agency experience and procedure, but even with as great as LSPDFR is you can only be so realistic. Can't say I've been in any shoot outs or pursuits on the job in real life and in LSPDFR that's a standard shift.

That didn't work but I ended up going in the right direction. I recently had an update for my GTX and forgot I had selected the option for it to auto adjust graphics settings in my games for optimal performance. Damn thing knocked my shader quality and post fx down. Set them back up to high and my Tahoe is looking gorgeous as ever. Maybe even a little bit better with the adjustment I made from your visualsettings.dat adjustment. Thanks man, if anyone else posts about their lights suddenly looking pale recommend they check their settings. I feel a bit like an idiot for not thinking about it.

Alright, so in my other support topic I talked about how the lights on my non-ELS vehicles looked white for some odd reason. After re-installing Radiance V thinking maybe it would fix it I am still finding that I'm having this issue. See the attached picture for an example. The rear window traffic advisor is where you can really see the issue. Of the four lights on it the one on the left should be blue, the right should be red, and the two middle lights should be amber. I have used this vehicle a lot in the past and never had any issues with the lights being pale white before so I'm at a bit of a loss on what's broken here. Prior to re-installing everything, I noticed the issue without even touching anything in my GTA V folder. One day all my vehicles worked fine and now for some reason the lights are pale. Anyone know of any fixes or settings I can adjust to help make them work right again? Any help is appreciated.

Nevermind on GTA V not loading in. I finally made a new copy of my unmodded GTA V and just copied over the rest of my mods from the old modded folder to my new one now.

I drove a Crown Vic once or twice before getting into LE. They were fast and fun but not overly practical up north where I live and work. Would be cool to see them make a come back but they definitely would need some major updating at this point. Otherwise, since I've started in law enforcement my experience has been mostly with the new Taurus and with the newer Tahoes. We had the 8 of the Taurus Interceptors at the academy, they were fast and maneuverable but as was mentioned they're fairly small, even for a smaller guy like me. Otherwise on the job I've been driving a newer (2015 I think) Tahoe SSV and have loved it. It's got 4WD when I need it (don't need it much in the city except after snow storms), otherwise it's got some good giddy-up and has plenty of space for me. Taken a little getting used to the size on narrower city streets but otherwise I like it.

Alright, so recently I had issues with my non-ELS cars lights being screwed up. I could see the red/blue flashes but the lights appeared white. So I decided to instead try out ELS vehicles. Loaded ELS and some new ELS cars but my game lagged something fierce (just think my computer isn't up to snuff for ELS). Anyway, at one point I had accidentally edited the vehicles in the normal "Update" folder instead of the one in my Mods folder. No worries I thought, I'll just copy the unedited update folder from my non-modded GTA V folder. Copied and pasted the update folder from that and deleted the update folder from my mods folder to just restart my vehicle mods thinking I'll just re-install my non-ELS cars and hopefully they'll work. Anyway, since I copied and pasted the Update folder from my non-modded GTA V, my game no loner fully loads. It starts up and gets to the art work loading screen and I see the RPH text box saying what all it's doing but it hits a point where it just sits on that loading screen and never ends. Goes so long the music eventually stops in the back ground even. The artwork still changes and I can see the spinning loading icon so it's not freezing, just not loading in the game. Anyone have any ideas on why it's doing it? Am I going to have to re-install my GTA V again? (Would be the third or fourth time I've done it in 3 months.)

That's what I'm hoping for, I want to see a legit police package Chevy sedan on the roads again.

Not sure if this is the right place for this or if anyone has already seen it. I have kept an eye on the GM fleet page for some time. With the shutdown of the last generation ('06-'16) Impala and the Caprice I have wondered if GM was just doing away with patrol cars in favor of SUVs and the Silverado. Well after a while the newer generation Impala popped up on the fleet page for police vehicles, it was never shown equipped with police equipment though, always just a bone stock Impala. Made a trip to the fleet page again today and after clicking on the 2018 Tahoe I scroll down to see this guy (attached). Seems GM might be bringing back the good old Impala for police use. Here's to hoping it hits the streets again with some agencies fleets.
