My daughter told me to download this game called Angry Birds, now the Sheriff is busting me for always being on my phone. Good thing for the bad guys in Blaine County I suppose...

Yeah, my game does that as well, shows sp stats sometimes. All I can do to get rid of it is to manually enter duty. Open up the ragehook console and type in 'ReloadAllPlugins' again, after that's FULLY done. Type in 'ForceDuty'. Does that still show sp stats?

If it does, go to the console again and type in 'ReloadPlugin' and pick LSPDFR only and then 'ForceDuty'. See what happens when you do this and let me know.
I just assumed you don't regularly restart your computer(s), not many do to be fair. And a lack of restarts can mess with things unfortunately. Now that we know you restart your PC we have less things messing with the game. You had the lspdfr gta folder in your AV exclusions. Have you also added it to windows 10's standard AV exclusions?

What happens if you run RageHook as admin?

I probably already asked this, if not, here goes. Have you tried starting gta vanilla by pressing the gtavexe?

All I am gonna say is that the above people have summed it up very well. LSPDFR is meant as a base element for people to expand upon. And like the others have said, I suggest using the plugins BejoIjo made. I have seen them in action and they are a god send.

I see the main point of the "basic menu" as a starting point for new players and when they feel more comfortable with adding plugins and modding, they can move to BejoIjo to get more of an in-depth experience.

LCPDFR and LSPDFR have always been a base platform intended to be built off of. Back in the early LCPDFR days, we only had two types of callouts - Domestic Disturbances, and Pursuits.

Developers made their own callouts to add on to that. The same applies now with what you mentioned.

I don't understand what you're asking. It sounds like you want LSPDFR to add better compatibility with certain plugins? That's backwards. Those plugins are addons to LSPDFR, they should be the ones being made compatible with the mod they are made to work with. Asking for LSPDFR to be more compatible with them is like asking Rockstar to make GTA V more compatible with LSPDFR.

LSPDFR is designed to work and play on it's own, without the need for any extra mods. If the backup menu was removed, and we said "you need to download Ultimate Backup to request assistance," that defeats the purpose of the mod. If you want to add more depth and interaction, you are free to do so with those other mods.

If your only real issue is with the way arrested peds behave, then just arrest them with the built in LSPDFR method instead of using 3rd party plugins to do so. In my opinion, LSPDFR handles arrests way better than those plugins. You can still use those other plugins for whatever you need, just use default LSPDFR functions to actually arrest and transport.

I achieved my goal at least, to solve the issue we had. Which we did and now another person can once again enjoy the glorious mod lspdfr actually is. I just wish Rockstar would make the G17 Media team a part of Rockstar Games and have them work on various police scenes with their maps. It would be so cool to actually pay for a police game, much like LSPDFR but without issues and with optimization in mind. Just imagine what a multibillion dollar studio like Rockstar Games and their parent organization Take-Two Interactive can do.

Anyways I really don't wanna drag this topic on since this is no way related to support so I'll leave it with that. Otherwise yes, just hit me up any time with anything related to LSPDFR or problems with other games and computers. I usually get to the bottom of problems eventually.

I sure will, thanks. You too mate!

I totally agree, modding sure can be messy at times. It is finding the right balance between what you want and what the game can actually take as far as being modified. I have the same kind of approach as you do, I have never really learned how to be a fully fledged expert on modding, but I know enough and can read code, so things tend to go ok. There is also usually a log for when things go wrong, but in this case that was not so helpful Lol. Your theory was spot on as the Callout scripts were definitely causing upset somewhere in the depths of everything, so props to you my friend.

You have been a massive help, you should give yourself more credit mate. You definitely answered my call for help here when no one else seemed to be active in this support area. I will be sure to come running back here if anything else untoward happens. So thank you again, much appreciated.

Had a day or 2 of testing and so far all looks well, had 2 crashes but they were typical LSPDFR crashes nothing major. Put almost everything I had back on, including some of the mods you have. The only ones I didn't even bother trying is CalloutsV and NiceCallouts, so I am guessing it was one of those which was the culprit. Although I did install them on a vanilla install of LSPDFR and they were running fine, I just think they were conflicting with some other Mod or script I had running, and for whatever reason they didn't get on well.  Before I could hardly start a session and it would keep crashing, but so far I have managed to have some good runs. Thank you for all your help, been great discussing things with you.

I mean I understand wanting more callouts, but better be safe than sorry and install those that works fine for 0.4.6. You can sort by 0.4.6 compatible mods in downloads on here.

Hm that is rather strange indeed. Usually crashes comes down to a specific event happening, perhaps due to a scripts/plugin. But if it's happening in vanilla lspdfr I'll have to ask this, was lspdfr 0.4 upgraded from 0.3 with a clean gta install or did you just replace it all?

Might also be the case that it's not at all related to lspdfr, could just be a hardware issue to be fair. Not saying it is, but stranger things have happened before. How are your temps and what specs are you running with?

How are things after this crash. Does a gta box come up regarding the crash or a ragehook box?

Well, that system is a disaster at all so I doubt it's that. What were your temps though?

Another thing I'd like to know, what plugins, scripts and mods do you use? Basically everything in the gta folder that isn't vanilla gta?

Again, nothing alarming at all. Sure, some of those plugins are old but not a major concern either. To be honest it's very hard to figure out what's wrong when there shouldn't be any. In the case where you get it to work I've given you some options down below. Regarding the sudden issues, have there been a new update from windows by any chance? Or any update at all? If so, try to revert back. Some Nvidia and Amd updates can mess with a game.

    - LSDPFR+ & ComputerPlus can be removed and replaced with CompuLite by Beioijo (IF YOU WANT)
    - ALPR Plus can be removed and replaced with ALPR Lite by Beioijo (IF YOU WANT)
    - Arrest Manager can be removed and replaced by Stop The Ped by Beioijo (IF YOU WANT)
    - Ultimate Backup and Speed Radar Lite by Beioijo can also be added to the game for more immersive policing (IF YOU WANT)

Beioijo's Plugins & Scripts can be found here: https://bejoijo256.wixsite.com/bejoijo
Beioijo also have a few callout packs which I can recommend. All of Beioijo's stuff are light on FPS.

It can in reality be any plugin messing up, I would remove any plugin which hasn't received an update to 0.4 and try that. If that works at least you know one of those is behind it. Alternatively you can create a new gta folder with a fresh lspdfr install, fresh ragehook and all other dependencies and slowly add one new thing at a time. I know that's the last thing you wanna do. But if even lspdfr vanilla doesn't work then it's probably something there, did you do the automatic or manual install? Is everything in the right place and do you have all the latest items need to run lspdfr?

I'm not personally seeing why it would crash, there's no visible thing that would lead to a crash. I do how ever see that you're using both Assorted Callouts and Arrest Manager. I assume you're tried launching RageHook without any traces of those?

I can also see that you're using CalloutsV and NiceCallouts, both which hasn't been updated since 2016, I would definitely try without having those installed.

I can certainly keep scrolling and most likely find more things. All I will ask know is, does lspdfr work vanilla? Is there anything special happening at the time of the crash? Most likely you're using an old script which crashes when it can't successfully read something.

Have you guys tried to add it through Windows Defender and what ever the other Anti Virus you guys have? There is an exclusion thing in all AV programs, maybe that could fix it. In Windows Defender press Virus & Threat Protection > Virus & Threat Protection Settings > Add or Remove Exlusion. Then just add the GTA V folder, do the same for the other AV program you have if it's Malware or something else

What do you mean by "I cannot bind a new key for LSPDFR"? If you wanna change keybindings for default LSPDFR keys you have to go to the folder where RagePluginHook is located at. Double click the lspdfr folder and then open keys.ini, simply change any key you want.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about your crash issues without a crash log, that can also be found in the folder where RagePluginHook is located at. It will be called RagePluginHook.ini.

Woah, those lspdfr files aren't suppose to be in the Plugins folder. At least mine aren't so I'm pretty sure that's the problem. Try moving the entire folder right there called lspdfr into your main directory and see if that does anything!
