Thanks to the entire LCPDFR community for the overwhelmingly positive response to our launch and the great feedback we have received, Sheriff Shaw has decided to release to the public one of the Harbor County Sheriff's Office CVPI Patrol Liveries from our community. Since our launch, many people have been asking where to get our liveries which are normally restricted to members only. This CVPI livery is one of the 8 unique liveries featured on the Harbor County Sheriff's Office CVPI fleet. For those that are interested, and thanks again to everyone for your support!

The template used to create this livery is fairly standard among CVPI models, so the livery should work fairly well on most CVPI models available for GTA. For the most accurate experience, we recommend the use of CJ24's excellent as it is the one currently in use by HCSO Deputies. Billboard 4th
From the album: HCDPS
We hope everyone enjoyed their July 4th holiday this week! A special thanks to the residents of Liberty City for being extra careful this year, HCDPS personnel responded to fewer fireworks related incidents and DUI related accidents from last year's holiday. Great job staying safe Liberty City! So far this holiday enforcement period (July 1-July 12) HCFD paramedics responded to 14 cases of people being injured by fireworks, and HCSO Deputies issued 341 citations, 94 for seat belt violations, and made 19 DUI arrests; 4 of those were more than twice the legal limit of alcohol content and 2 were underage drivers. All residents are reminded that increased law enforcement presence and zero tolerance enforcement throughout the county will continue through July 12th, so remember to drink responsibly and always wear your seat belts! -

Thank you sir, I have to say the same for your amazing work on the MDC. I spent about 6 months researching various MDC options before I came across yours a few months ago; I'm impressed and wish I could create something like that.

DARE3
I feel like I've seen a DARE car on here before.... Oh yeah, I have :-p Nice job though, I'm glad the Harbor County DARE car could inspire others to follow suit. And although the DARE program may = fail in some people's minds, it was a big part of my childhood and a one of the very few positive things I still remember about growing up in Los Angeles. DARE is one of the things that kept me out of trouble as a kid, so it will always be a big WIN for me.

DUI
This is still very much a work in progress, I was only able to locate a handful of the billboard files so far. The ones I found were inside a disc image file under PC/Data/Maps/East.

Over the weekend, the Harbor County Department of Public Safety resumed its regular anti drunk driving and seat belt law public awareness campaign as we approach the Fourth of July holiday. Deputies were out in force and issued 31 seat belt citations and made 14 DUI arrests. In this photo, an HCSO Master Deputy with the High Intensity Traffic Team can be seen arresting a motorcycle rider for driving under the influence. -

Over the weekend, the Harbor County Department of Public Safety resumed its regular anti drunk driving public awareness campaign as we approach the Fourth of July holiday. The DPS is specifically focusing on underage drinking this year with a new set of billboards throughout the city. HCSO Deputies will be enforcing DUI laws with zero tolerance so remember, if you're over the limit or underage, you're under arrest. Period. Please drink responsibly and enjoy your holiday safely. -

Dare1

Today the Harbor County Sheriff's Office unveiled its newest public relations program, a Dodge Charger patrol car decorated in a special D.A.R.E livery. The D.A.R.E program has been used across the country since 1983 as a tool to educate kids about the dangers of involvement in gang and drug activity and promote law enforcement. Sheriff Shaw and all the deputies of the Harbor County Sheriff's Office are proud to bring the D.A.R.E program to Liberty City schools. In this promotional photograph featuring the HCSO D.A.R.E car, Sheriff Shaw can be seen with a group of Liberty City residents admiring the patrol car. The DARE car will be making public appearances throughout Liberty City at schools, sporting events, auto shows, and other public gatherings to promote a drug free lifestyle and a positive interaction with law enforcement personnel. -

Pursuit
I can't say for certain, but I imagine it would have to do with the pilot. The helicopter in this photograph is being flown by a human player. I expect that AI pilots would not be nearly as effective in a pursuit.

Why the need for Clans?
As many of you have mentioned, the idea behind an organized group is that everyone has a different idea about how they like to play the game. Some people's version of fun is to shoot every suspect they encounter. Other people prefer to treat the capabilities of a modified version of GTA IV as a simulation instead of a game. Each person's interpretation of how to play is completely different, and there is no right or wrong way to play. The whole idea behind an organized community or "clan" is that like minded people can play together, instead of being randomly paired with people they don't know and can't predict their behavior. The G17 server in itself is a version of a "clan" for organizing multiplayer games. As far as what supervisors do, the possibilities are virtually endless depending on the community and the imagination. For example, our shift supervisors are responsible for coordinating with dispatch to ensure that each call for service is answered within a reasonable time, monitoring the activities of our deputies and ensuring their safety on the streets, using their experience and judgement on when to continue or terminate pursuits in the interest of safety and justice, approving reports and paperwork (for those members who wish to simulate those aspects of law enforcement), I could go on but the point is supervisors have a very large role when implemented properly in a community.

Felony Stop
The only custom piece of equipment in this photo is the less lethal shotgun which is really only a custom texture. The cars and cop models are available right here on LCPDFR.com from Cj24 and Custo respectively, and of course the textures for the cars and cop models are custom.

Crash3
From the album: HCDPS
HCFD firefighters and paramedics tried valiently to save the driver and passenger involved in an early morning fatal car accident on the eastbound Broker Dukes Expressway at Saratoga Ave. The driver appears to have lost control and rolled, ejecting the passenger who was not wearing a seat belt and who was killed instantly. The driver was taken away from the scene by HCFD's Life Flight helicopter, and later died at the hospital. Fortunately there were no construction workers present in the work zone where the accident occurred. As we approach the July 4th holiday, HCDPS would like to remind all Liberty City and Harbor County residents to please buckle up and slow down. HCSO deputies will be out and will continue to enforce their zero tolerance "click it or ticket" laws. Remember, "Every Ride, Every Time, Click it or Ticket." -
