  1. It actually does help i've played in games with upwards of 15 players with ELS/Modded cars/ LCPDFR and the cars were fine. Trust me on this one.
  2. Did EVERYONE set it to 18 and uninstall traffic flow/load?
  3. Pretty low on RAM but that's a good graphics card so it might be ok, won't hurt to try =)
  4. Hopefully you have made a backup?
  5. In the GTA IV options menu I think it's under options or graphics.
  6. I'm done posting everytime I do someone tells me I have no clue what I'm doing.
  7. ELS is the only reason I play the game, you can disable the AI support. ELS ads a level of realism that is unheard of haha. Edit: Also you can try previous versions of ELS that are more stable and look just as good.
  8. Save yourself a lot of effort re-install the game, waste of time trying to figure out what is wrong. Also post your PC specs please.
  9. Install a car with that light bar and look through the patterns, not sure how you can change the light patterns like aznairsoft did for his CHP Liberty CVPI.
  10. Only flaw with this game is the lack of PC release :(
  11. Like I said try a fresh install or a backup if you have a non modded backup. If you have it through Steam by chance you can have Steam check the integrity of the files by right clicking on the name of the game in your library.
  12. I haven't been able to find a pause map but I made an image file for my laptop that I use when I play multiplayer that has the map and the road names easily visible, try that out.
  13. Tell the leaders of your clan that you can't play Multiplayer with Traffic Load/any other traffic mod installed and I would suggest turning vehicle density down to 18, everyone's has to be set at 18 because cars will bug out like that if everyone has a different density setting.
  14. Games don't usually conflict with one another, to really test what the problem is you need a fresh install then install a mod one at a time and see what causes this.
  15. I would load a backup, you screwed up something major.. If you don't have a backup re install.
  16. Not really in the mood for arguing but I've been playing LCPDFR for over a year now. If you're going to make a website dedicated to something and have it become as huge as it it you're expected to support your product and up date it. I never bashed LCPDFR I just said that it's a shame that the developers don't do more to make it better, I am very thankful for what they do that's why I find the lack of updates so sad.
  17. Abraxas seems to be able to do amazing stuff pretty quickly. Same thing with Braveheart. The developers seem to ignore any questions about future updates so I what else can I say?
  18. It gets old after a while due to the same calls over and over and over and over again and the lack of updates by the developers which is really unfortunate. Multiplayer is the only fun thing to do anymore.
  19. Go to your ELS config file and turn on Single Player ELS by making the 0 next to it a 1. That will make more frequent crashes on low end PCs but is much more realistic.
  20. Based on your picture I'm guessing you're trying to play video games on a Mac. Mac's are not for gaming and there is no way around that, especially for a game as RAM intensive as GTA.
  21. Try Rockstar forums, this is support for LCPDFR not all GTA IV problems.
  22. There are hundreds of videos that show you how to install car mods/ELS/Sound mods/ etc. Hard to explain with text really.
  23. A sound file wouldn't be the thing crashing your game...
  24. I don't see much of a difference..? All it seemed to do was make my brake and reverse lights look bad :|
