You must go to OpenIV and go to wherever you installed the Impala (This download is only the livery) and you click on the texture dictionary (.ytd) and replace police_sign_1, 2, and 3. If you have no installed the vehicle yet, click on the "Release preview video!" in the description of this mod page, go to the description of the video, and you will find a link to the model.- 2 comments

Thanks, Realistic. Like I said I'm not trying to be rude, but I just think that WIP skins should stay off of the download section until actually ready. Maybe if you wanted to release this without the logos you should re-word the title of the skin so that we know that it is not really FHP and more like a concept livery based off of FHP.- 8 comments

I appreciate the fact that you are trying to help add some variety to the modding community, but since when do people release liveries that are not even completed? The fact that this is still a WIP means that you really shouldn't be releasing it yet, at least not without adding at least the FHP logo or other important details. Not to sound rude, but this is just my opinion to you, as releasing things should not be a WIP. There is no race for releasing modifications and by being the first will not get you any special award or recognition, only people questioning like myself.

Great mod once again Yard1! I renamed it to riot and put them in the vehicles file for patch2ng since that's where the riot is but I used the high quality textures from the +hi. I haven't figured out how to change it so the game recognized that the riot has multiple liveries, but I got the riot handling changed to the insurgent2 and it works great!- 27 comments

Yeah GFWL was never down, this post about GFWL retiring was the one that everyone worried about in 2013. It was just the maintenance on LIVE.

I make cars to be as realistic as possible. The West Melbourne Police Department does not have any cars in the fleet with a lightbar, so I won't be making one with a lightbar. Sorry about that.- 10 comments

To go along with the Palm Bay Police Chevy Impalas, I have decided to try to make the Dodge Charger for the department. There aren't many pictures of it, but I'm trying to make it as accurate as possible. -
I'm not sure that I like that idea unless the DEVs say that this is okay. Any sort of modded file or added file could trigger the online cheating system, but we really don't know because none of us here run or created that system for Rockstar.

Yeah I thought about that afterwords, but to be realistic it would be much easier for the users to have a simple uninstall feature instead of taking up 60+ gigs to have another copy of a game to be modded.

Unfortunately, the steam version of GTA V doesn't allow for quickly using two different folders for the game because the launcher requires steam to start. The uninstaller isn't really incase the game breaks either, the only reason i would like to see one is because i am an avid GTA Online player, so being able to quickly exchange.

Hello LSPDFR community, First off, I would like to thank the developers here at G17 Media for the outstanding performance on the new LSPDFR and it's sister LCPDFR. I am very pleased with the outcome of the brand new LSPDFR BETA and I'm looking forward to new additions to the mod. My plan is to update this as I go through the mod and will update this same thread with updates of suggestions to add. 6/20/15 Better explanation of how to start the script in-game. Nevermind, you guys have the covered.Some sort of .exe that will delete all of the files that LSPDFR and RAGE creates, so that it's easy to go into MP, sort of like the uninstaller for LCPDFR.

Very nice textures once again Chameleon. Despite what Kirigaya says, which is inaccurate, you still do a very good job on your textures. Although I can agree that these textures are quite simple to make, that does not mean that the textures are "very bad." In fact, these textures deserve five stars because they are 100% accurate to the real vehicle, which is the point of the upload, so "very bad" is really an incorrect statement. Either way, it's nice to have pre-made liveries like this where I don't have to do any change the plates myself to match the state that I am patrolling as.- 4 comments

This could be caused by multiple things. It could be from computer specs to over-modding the game from what I understand. I saw a recommendation that you might want to try, which is to install Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 2008 if you haven't already. Another thought it to try using a fresh copy of GTA IV to see if this fixes it. Someone also reported the issue after faulty memory (RAM), but this error could be caused by so many things. I would try the basic fixes that I said and if it doesn't work let me know and I'll try to help out more.
