  1. At first I was thinking a mustard color was going to be bad. Then I started looking at these skins and they were amazing.
  2. If you scroll down and look at the 70s and 80s cars they used to be lime green all the way up to the early 90s when they went with the LAPD style black and whites. The new black cars have only been in service about 10 years.
  3. @downcoldkiller Any chance I can get you to edit some green lights to match my engine with this setup?
  4. Any chance you can make a matching skin for this police bike? Or Also a matching skin for a ELS prison transport/swat vehicle? https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/els-bcso-lenco-bearcat
  5. I tend to be a fan of Christmas tree setups for fire trucks and ambulances. So something in a Chicago Fire Pattern like the pumper I attached with a LED all Green Rotoway on the front. The squad I attached is a bit overkill on the lights. 3 RotoWays a Bar and the box lights but it looked hilarious. If I could find a video of it all on I would link it.
  6. I do not disagree at all on that part. While what we have no works fine you tend to see a modding community push the envelope more as there is a reason to drive it. Albo literally does gods work when it comes to his mods. Playing without most of them is not even a good option. As for the multiplayer I also agree on that. As I mentioned in the one thread its surprising Take Two and Rockstar have not seen the potential income from what these mods provide and cooked up their own in house DLC doing the exact same thing. If they made an official all in one Police/Fire/EMS either DLC or its own stand alone game they could probably farm even more cash. Development wise its not like their coders could not tear apart current mods then rewrite the coding and ideas from it. Its not like you can sue for ideas utilizing their property anyways. Just imagine something like a PVE server with 20-30 people on it split into 4 squads of 2. 1 Fire chief. 3 Engines of 3 and 12 various police patrols operating in a city. Frankly there have been 2-3 attempts to make a game like that but most fell apart in development. I would love to see what a AAA developer could cook up in 6 months. One thing I would love to see is more interaction/integration with Police/Fire/EMS. I can understand making 1 mod that allows you to do all 3 is probably unrealistic but having callouts that require all 3 to respond to a scene like fires etc would be a nice QOL touch. Unit XX and XX respond to building fire at 1234 Main street. Assist Fire as needed. Pull up block off the road and when fire leaves scene you clear as well. Or EMS needs you to respond to a house in a hot area to secure it before they move in.
  7. Would love to see some of the more common mods tied into the default LSPDFR. Primarily the stuff Albo has put out, Keep Calm and Better EMS. While some of the other current mods would be nice like more models/uniform options, picking your patrol loadout and getting a partner that matters the QOL improvements those few mods I mentioned would be amazing if they were already cooked into it. More callouts and a more varied amount of Callouts never hurts. If possible being able to setup a patrol area to get calls in. Getting a random callout 5 miles away to respond to just doesnt make much sense unless your working as a county or state entity and no local LEO is available to take that call. Possibly even scripting it so we do not have to call for back up. If your responding to an armed robbery in progress your generally dispatching more then 1 unit. The problem is I do not personally know what is and is not capable of happening. I actually saw this on something completely random and bought GTAV for PC just to play this. So any development is not a bad thing. Would it be nice to eventually have a Multiplayer style server we could work together on responding to calls sure. Its not necessary for me to enjoy this amazing mod though. (Plus so far all my experience with FiveM has been absolute cancer.)
  8. That does look pretty good. I wonder if someone will eventually make a truck with one for this.
  9. I should have probably specified for GTA5 then.
  10. Great mod. Even with downloading and putting in the new template I still run into the bus being unpainted.
  11. Found a video from GTA4 for it. Pretty cool looking.
  12. Not going to lie the only reason I bought GTAV for PC was specifically for LSPD and the potential for the mods. What I honestly do not understand is why Rockstar has not taken the initiative and turned around and made their own official mods or servers to do the same thing for profit. There is obviously enough of a demand to warrant it and apparently it is not that hard to code into their existing engine. Making an official Mod pack with the base mod and call outs for $10 for a Police one and a separate one for Fire & EMS. Then they could turn around and charge for some kick ass looking design packs IE Chicago/FDNY/LA style Fire & EMS packs for $2-3 each. Other then maybe their licensing costs which they could get away with like they do everything else by using the base design and calling it something else this could literally be another way to print cash for them. While I am not condoning cash grabbing corporate greed does anyone else find it odd they have not done something like this?
