  1. Thanks for the info provided Jason_Ness . That gameconfig is actually the one I usually use and has worked well with all of the patches for me since I got the game in March '17. I've also bookmarked the other 2 links, though, with my machine being on the old side (Intel P35), I've only added a handful of addons. One of these years, I'll build a new rig.
  2. You assume correctly. That specific error is indeed related to exceeding the DLC limit. The only ways to fix it are to remove some addons or merge some addons into one DLC package. I don't know how to do that myself, but there are tutorials out there for doing that if you look around. Best of luck!
  3. I'm using my 12 year old Logitech G25 with ikt's manual transmission mod as well. The mod's transmission portion was broken by the latest update, but the wheel's controls still work with the mod disabled. I also run the realistic driving mod, which goes with the wheel nicely for me. Given the age of my wheel, I won't know what to do when it gives up the ghost. The H-shifter has been broke for several years, but everything else still works nicely and I don't play any driving/racing games without it...and I'm on a fixed income.
  4. I have seen one or 2 where I am in District 7, but I think even those have been recently replaced with the Charger (within the past 6 months). I have yet to see a pickup, however, my county's sheriff has one in their fleet. MSP D7 also has a mix of Explorers and Tahoes, with a few of those Explorers being "commercial enforcement units". Both the Gaylord and Alpena posts have vehicles roll through my county.
I am impressed by this model! Very high quality, but runs quite well on my "dinosaur" of a machine. I've been seeing fewer and fewer of the MSP CVPIs, but still see one now and then in District 7. The color is a little bit of a lighter blue, however, since it's a 2011 model, you could say the paint is aged. The "gumball" may look large to some people, but it is a large light on the real MSP vehicles, therefore, it appears to be the correct size in game. Most of the lighting works, including all of the emergency lights, however, the front indicators don't appear to light up for me when I use the turn signals, but that's not a deal-breaker for me. My MSP fleet is growing!
  5. Sorry for the delayed response, been dealing with issues on my machine. I'm in between the Gaylord and Alpena posts. My county used to have a post in Lewiston, but that was closed a few years ago.
  6. As another Michigander, I can say this model is well done. The gumball (which I hope MSP always keeps on top of their marked vehicles) is actually a fairly decent size. I wouldn't mind seeing an explorer made somewhere down the road. I've seen a ton of those up here in MSP District 7. [EDIT] Forgot to mention the Gumball LED also flashes pretty close to how it does IRL. I saw a comment in a review that they wished it rotated. They in fact, used to rotate with the older lights, but went with the flash when they converted the lights to LEDs, for cost-effectiveness.
  7. I am also getting the version message. Running the latest albo common and I experience no issues (I am running 1180 as of 17-SEP-17), though I do occasionally get an unrelated crash (most likely from non RPH scripts I run)
  8. Looking forward to the Automatic Roadblocks update. I've been using it for a few months now and the new features in this article are exciting. Keep up the great work! Same with the car packs!
  9. Rolling/moving roadblocks, both with Officers in front and on both sides of the vehicle (if safe) or contacting 18-wheelers via Citizen Band radio are still used in some areas, particularly on freeways and interstates in the US, particularly in rural areas. This method, however, is becoming more uncommon. In more urban areas, though, police units ahead of the suspect will block traffic at intersections and also deploy stingers/spike strips in an attempt to stop the suspect, if the PIT maneuver is not authorized or is unsuccessful.
  10. I've seen a couple of your videos, however I wasn't a subscriber...until now. One of these days, when I get a better rig, I may edit and upload a video of gameplay with the LSPDFR mod myself, but for now, I can barely play the game at the lowest setting, but it's still quite enjoyable. Keep up the good work with the videos. Also, great job with all of the mods/scripts by the community.
  11. I've had no issues until today (24-APR), now it just hangs when attempting to update the weather. I'm in the US and I believe the issue may be due to weather.gov doing a major overhaul of their pages, as almost all pages of their domain(s) are timing out or throwing proxy errors. If anyone else is having issues, this may be the reason, so just a heads up. :)
For a beta vehicle, this is still pretty well done up to this point. It even looks good on my low end machine and doesn't have any impact on performance. It brings a touch of home to LS. (Had a RL MSP Tahoe drive by while writing this, patrolling a part of District 7). I look forward to future updates. :)
