  1. This. Only people that complain about your voice are usually the younger audience on xbox / PS3 Because of this, I've been nervous to speak to others on teamspeak because of fear of judgement. Now though, I'll happily chat to anyone. On topic: Yeah I'd watch your video's.. Could be interesting, never know what to expect in GTA
  2. I think it did, it was a while ago so I'm not too sure
  3. If you saved your game as another model and not niko then it's possible your savegame is corrupted. Try deleting your saves Oh and make sure to run the 0.95 installer as an admin too
  4. May have to fire up gta sometime and join you. I played LCPDFR once in a random lobby. It was hilarious, 3 players sat in my cruiser and couldn't believe how I was a police officer or how I'd pulled over a car
  5. Do you have xlive and dsound both installed? If so, remove one of them because they can conflict
  6. I managed to import the TBOGT stinger to gta iv a while back. It was a lot of work. I had to add the .wft and .wtd manually to my GTA IV vehicles.img , I then had to copy the lines of its .ide , handling and carcols into their respective GTA IV files. The game reconized it and gave it sirens and the functions of a police car but I had to give it the sound of an infernus in the IDE file because I didn't import the engine sound. This caused the game to call it an infernus when entered and civi's drove it. I then went into polcycle (I think) and added police3 to the section where it determines what cars cops drive. TL;DR: it's a lot of work that can pay off but it's not worth it in my opinion, it caused a tugboat to spawn in a dock and causes insane lagg
  7. Theres a small window that allows post editing for normal members.. I think it's about 4 minutes before they can't edit that particular post anymore
  8. In future, when somebody says "Post your diagnostics report" they mean the report from running the G17 Diagnostic's tool, Not windows. Glad you got it sorted, enjoy the mod
  9. I was one of the first members in the group so I'll try to clear up some confusion; We only played on a vanilla copy of GTA IV as not everyone on here owns EFLC We used the DAS mod (Check some screenshots on the topic and you'll see it in the top left corner) If modded cars were used, we all had to use the same ones to avoid crashing At first, only one person ran LCPDFR while the others acted as back up units Eventually everyone ran LCPDFR at once Games were set up like a normal GTA IV Lobby Teamspeak wasn't introduced until near the end of the group.
  10. Run the game as an administrator And post your logfile once you've run the diagnostics tool.
  11. They don't, just a flattened image which makes it extremely complicated when skinning
  12. I've still got my original vehicle.img (i think) , I can just edit the original skins through GIMP or paint.net
  13. How about just re-branding the original cruisers? Replace LCPD with NYPD and vice versa.. Even though I'm British, I'd love to take part in this. Providing default cars are used
  14. First of All, I'm not a kid, I'm 17. Secondly, If you cared to look at the upload date of the video, there was no public release for 0.95 hence why I said "Do not download 0.95" The video can still be followed.
  15. Hobo's on GTA IV Yell loads of random crap like: "Auxillian death ray! Gotta Be!" "Aliens came took another truth speaker!"
  16. How many times has this happened? It could just be a one-off bug
  17. Yes it's entirely possible but the game has been out since 2008 and there has been no solid proof
  18. Update: Just arrived in the post, had the option to install in English or French... Looked at the units, 2012 looks like a polished clone, exactly the same. Edit: Does anyone know how to change the screen res without bugging the game? if I change it ingame all I see is part of the menu
  19. Tried it yesterday, Didn't work. Also uninstalled IV:SA , Its good but I'm going to wait until important things like car paths are fixed
  20. Thanks man, +1 Still currently downloading it, as soon as Its up and running I'll get working on a video
  21. Alright, Picture one: Seen that guy loads of times, its just a hobo. Picture two: He's wearing fingerless gloves. Sorry man, no ratman
  22. I'll give it a shot, It should work, after all. LCPDFR uses the taxi function to pull cars over, obviously I won't do callouts. BTW, Anyone remember the button for forcing duty? I've remembered I can't exactly visit a station O.O Sounds bad coming from a tester but hey, we all forget things now and then
  23. I've been a massive SA fan since it was released, so many wased hours. I've been holding off for a while on this, didn't look like it was worth the hassle.. Now its got some awesome features like AI I may take the plunge and get it.. Hell, I'll try LCPDFR now that there's traffic
