SecuROM is a steaming pile of turd. Back last year it randomly decides I have an illegal copy of GTA IV and revoke's my license.. even though I bought mine in store.

Not everyone plays the mod for hardcore realism. Besides, I'm pretty sure the virtual pedestrian's don't mind.

SIGH. LCPDFR and third party mods such as trainer's do not usually require decent hardware.. In short: Buy a PC that can run GTA IV decently and you'll be able to run LCPDFR.

I had a little pop and putting together a system, it's easy and it'll notify you if anything's compatible. I came up with this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/viewcart.php Its a bit pricey but It'll run GTA on Maximum settings, throw in a second graphics card and you could even get EnB working. Still, you could probably get an even better system for a price lower than that.

/agreed I recently took a year long break from SA-MP to focus on my studies, one year later and I'm addicted to it again.. I vary between roleplay and challenge map. I don't see any signs of SA-MP stopping in the near future.

Checkout the teamspeak plugin in my signature, simulates distortion etc. With TS, set up a main channel and name it "Dispatch" then create subchannels like "Area 6" or whatever. Set up one for pursuits and set a hotkey so you can instantly switch between channels during one

You should really be thinking "Can this PC run the latest games like Battlefield 3 on max settings?" Don't focus on a PC soley for one game, you'll eventually tire of GTA IV and would only be able to play some of the less recent games. I had a low budget when purchasing a laptop, I needed it for college, the one I found (That I'm using now) runs GTA IV on high settings. I just see it as a bonus.

Only a few forces in the country still use Astra's, now it's mainly Volvo's, BMW's or even a the latest Ford Estate (sorry, can't remember the name) Not all our cars are terrible, we have some decent one's (like the Volvo) .. EDIT: I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything about that car but here's an idea, Most of those car's come with the skin template, if you can find the same car you can place the Houston livery onto it providing it has the rambar you specified. SparkIV is always unstable on windows 7, I've recently switched to open IV. For instance, if you listen to some ingame sounds through SparkIV then it'll eventually crash.
