DLS was updated not too long ago? Are you running the current version of DLS?

Everything looks fine but I would recommend either 6gb or 8gb video card. The ram is fine I myself went with 32gb and run pretty solid performance. if you install GTAV on ssd I would recommend at least a 1-2tb ssd. If you mod gta v your mods folder will add up space quickly. 😉

If you are running the updated version of GTAV v2189. Ragepluginhook and Scripthookv have been updated but you will have to wait for lspdfr to be updated. The lspdfr team are working hard on getting us this update so stay tuned.

I’m sure Sam will update us once they release a new version of lspdfr. We just got to be patient in waiting. Remember they are working on this on their own time so it could be a while. 😉

Will do. I’m still nervous because putting it all into code is going to be fun. I have some great ideas for callouts for lspdfr that will add much more immersion.

I think for me lspdfr patrols is the much added realism to police patrols. I have done several ridealongs with law enforcement and then being able to replicate what real world law enforcement does is awesome, especially in the GTA universe. With all the plugins from developers including you Rich, it adds much more immersion and actually makes you feel like an actual virtual law enforcement officer. All the plugins that I have and have tested for developers is awesome too. The community as a whole is pretty tight. Eventually one will run into toxicity in the community but it just goes to show what type of character they are. I will say with all the awesome plugins from developers such as Bejoljo, PierGud, Albo, Alex Ashford, all of the callout developers, Candimum Red, Seibi, zipzapp, and many others have inspired me to pursue learning C# and coding in general and now I’m going to college to study becoming a programmer. I have this community to thank for inspiring me to pursue that. Eventually I’ll sit down and make a callout pack, after I get more comfortable with C# and coding. (I get nervous putting it into code) lol

Adding on to what Benzo said, this method worked for me. For future, Before logging on your computer, disconnect from internet WiFi or wired, then launch steam in “offline” mode and then launch GTAV with ragepluginhook. This method has worked for me. The best part is we seem to know the updates well in advance, so we have plenty of time to backup and downgrade if need be. 😉

Sadly you’ll hav to wait for the updates. Unless you can successfully downgrade. I do recommend and this worked for me. On the day of the update once you boot up your computer, disconnect from Your internet start steam in offline mode. Then you can boot up gta v with ragepluginhook and it’ll all be offline. Steam won’t update. 😉 Oh another thing I added the command line text -scOfflineOnly to the command line.

You know I for one said the exact same thing with every update. Like why update this game? However I have agree with Sam. With every update it added more for lspdfr and for us to explore. We now have interiors of the police station which btw I discovered can be customized by agency. If it hadn’t been for the updates we wouldn’t have the lspdfr that we have today. I’m not sure what Sam and the lspdfr team have up their sleeves to make it much more better but I can tell you for certain lspdfr continues to get better with each update. I get that a lot of us are bummed out because now we have to wait for ragepluginhook to update, scripthookv to update and now lspdfr to update. I get the frustration with this believe me I do, because I’ve been there before. Being frustrated doesn’t do anything for us because we still would have to wait for the other plugins to update. My advice is this and take it for what it’s worth, if and when there is another future update to GTAV we can certainly do everything we can to not try and update either because downgrading doesn’t work for us or whatever the case maybe. With each of the updates we have known well in advance when there will be an update. I myself didn’t update gta v just yet because I knew the other updates would take a bit to work out and Sam and the team here are working hard to get it updated but we have to understand they are doing the plug-in updates on their own time. Anyways my hats off to the team here at lspdfr and also the ragepluginhook team and Alexander blade with scripthookv.

Thank you for posting this Sam. I definitely love lspdfr. I didn’t update gta v just yet. I lucked out and tried a few old tricks to it force an auto update. 😃 I definitely can’t wait to see what else is in store for the future of lspdfr. 🙂

I seem to recall before upgrading to 0.4.8 you could listen to the in game radio stations while patrolling. However when I try to switch to a station it does that but no music is played. And before you ask, yes the music volume is turned up. So not sure what’s going on with this?
