BDotG reacted to jjthegoat in Code 3 Backup respond with no lights or sirensI solved the issue on my own. The vehicle that your using may not register as a police car. I found this out by rolling around code 3 and I noticed that with the car I was using, vehicles were not yielding. You need to go into carvaraitions.meta and make it to where it registers as one. I would just copy the car variation from POLICE and change the name to the vehicle that you are using. At the bottom it will say something like "vehiclesirenlights="0" you need to change that to 1.

BDotG got a reaction from LMS in Help loading DLC@LMS Thanks for linking the archivefix, i can confirm that i have successfully "fixed" my dlc.rpf and everything is loading fine with LML without the need for openiv.asi. Your help as always is much appreciated.

BDotG got a reaction from LMS in Help loading DLCYes, if i have the mods folder installed, i can load the dlc from the dlcpacks and the custom maps/buildings load fine. Doing it for LML loads nothing. I go to the location and its just the default map/buildings still.
Edit: @LMS All sorted mate, deleted my GTA V directory, re-installed from vanilla backup, made sure load MP-maps was enabled in TrainerV. Re-installed LML and tried with the install.xml above and now its working.

There will be a lot of updates based on feedback and support requests for the current public release. Some highlights include:
Improved map files to give a better experience when mp maps aren't loaded, and to hopefully eliminate an issue with some maps not spawning correctly Updated Coast Guard station in Los Santos to add better fences (now the gates slide open as you approach, much easier to drive through) New and improved flags and flagpoles at all stations Much-requested "Coastal Callouts Only mode" option which will randomly start calls from Coastal Callouts while preventing callouts from other packs from loading Improved spawning of the helicopter hoist to reduce the glitched hoist effect that sometimes happens Added option in coastal vehicle spawn menu to spawn the vehicle in your current position (instead of in air/water for helis/boats) Improved controls, especially for player using controllers, when staging and dropping cargo barrels from the planes Fixed bug where the "loading coastal models" step during startup would fail on some systems Improved help prompts throughout the mod, and added better key icons to help prompts where possible Improved instructions in heli rescue training callout Added "place grabbed ped in vehicle" keybinding to INI Added support for the newly updated Spotlight mod for several boats Added new Bell 412 helicopter

With the ever increasing tips for GTA 5 to fix common issues, such as installing VisualV first then RadianceV compatibility patch after for dim ELS lights, the diffuseTint value for FBI2 and SHERIFF2 in vehicles.meta, can only open the computer in LSPDFR, increasing performance, verifying cache to fix various issues, whitelisting RAGEHook from antivirus, put vehicle mods in latest patchday folder so they show up ingame, re-install drivers etc. I am beginning to think a Knowledge Base section would help.
Many users don't read the pinned posts, and all we can do is ask them to, so if they see "Knowledge Base" they will probably jump for it. There will be many posts with all the fixes we have, which should help free up pinned topics as well. Now, I will only make a topic for the fixes I have listed when I have time, so I don't expect anybody to.
But remember this is just a suggestion. You guys know best about Website Design, I am prepared to listen.

BDotG reacted to PNWParksFan in [REL] Coastal Callouts Discussion ThreadWell this has taken a lot more time and been a lot more difficult than anticipated, although I've learned a lot and am quite happy with the result thus far! Not quite complete, as I've yet to add some of the parts around the edges (currently there's a see-through cliff haha), and need to add some more details. But the core station building is nearly complete, with working lights, full collisions, working ladders, station signs, etc. Special thanks to @OriginalNewbie and @magiobiwan for working on a Station Paleto Bay logo!

One thing in particular I need to figure out still is if I can find a particle effect that'll work for pollution in the water. But I'm definitely planning on having some stuff like that!
