To prevent automated downloads, we do serve CAPTCHAs. We initially had only shown this for guests sometimes, but we’ve been seeing increased automation with accounts. I’m hoping to make these more intelligently show as it’s probably now needed in some capacity always in the AI era.

I make copies of gta one on external disk and another on my laptop- just in case, cuz I’ve spent a lot of time modding and configuring everything and don't wanna lose everything. Every time I change something, I update the copies. Unless someone installs huge mods like LA Revo or NVE, I don’t think backups for re-modding are necessary. I also always check what .OIV mods actually change before installing them so they don't replace my already edited files.

I don't make a copy of GTA, because I don't have many GB for another copy and I don't make big changes, if I do, I just delete mods folder or plugins/Lspdfr folder, when it's a massive change, then I just delete GTA V completely and reinstall it.

When you are new to modding, very often.
If you are more advanced, less until never.
Of course it depends how much you change or install.

No problem! I never heard of that plugin but glad you found out which one caused your „issue“.

specifically does ur game crash? If it does either you dont have rage native ui installed or outdated one or it's a folder that you haven't installed without knowing as going to plugins then lspdfr and see the folders of the plugins that you recognized and didn't install that then delete it and run the game and see 

ELS works really good with a controller. Download ''Button Config #2'' from ''Who needs them?'' and it will unbind all the controller bindings you don't need and ELS will work without any problem whilst using a controler.

@IceGuy221 thanks for your help i followed what you wrote and now it works. appreciate it very much was driving me crazy.

1. When downloading the file, ensure you down load:
- ELS V1.05.rar
- AdvancedHookV_b3258
2. Install this to you main game directory, in order:
- ELS V1.05
- AdvancedHookV_b3258
3. Ensure you also have SHV
4. (Optional But Recommended); Install SHVDN (Nightly Version)
5. Ensure that Heap Adjuster, Gameconfig.xml, Resource Adjuster, and Packfile Limit adjuster are installed correctly, and set to the desired .ini settings.
6. When installing the VCF files for your vehicle, ensure they are install in the directory:
- GTA V > ELS > Pack_Default
7. In ELS.ini, make sure you controls are set properly. 
8. In-game, make sure that toggle keys lock is disabled (otherwise all controls will be locked and key binds won't work. The key-bind to disable the lock can be located in the .ini
9. Done

ELS Should Now Work. However, Please Note That If You Have DLS Installed, ELS Will Not Work, As DLS Conflicts With ELS Functions.

Hey man, I was just having the same problem.
I read this somewhere else, should help by the looks of it.
Im gonna try it now too.
 
Edit: Step 3 means launch it also without Rockstar Launcher, just go to the main directory and start the .exe yourself.

Edit 2: It didnt work for me. But I found a solution myself.
 
1. Open Rockstar Launcher and let it update
2. After it is done dont close it, keep the launcher running
3. Open Rage and let it reset it to your backup
4. After its done and launched into settings, close it
5. Start GTA V in Rockstar Launcher
6. Load Rage as soon as GTA V has started
 
It launches Build 2189 for me, and its working 🙂

If I remember I think that is an anti virus problem.  You might disable your antivirus.  Maybe an update on your antivirus in the last 2 weeks is now causing it.  I had a certain antivirus that would delete Rage after I tried to run.

Not sure what this has to do with LSPDFR 0.4, but I will say that considering how much @Albo1125 has given the whole community with his work, I think this comment is in poor taste.

I have a 600$ dollar machine, cheap, with 0 issues. running all albo mods and stop the ped. Its either your pc, your failure to follow directions, or some kind of interference with another mod, antivirus, etc. But hey I get it, much easier to point a finger at someone else..
Its a experience, I tell ya, when you can download someones work that they put hours and hours into, for free, all to complain without offering some sort of solution or better alternative. How about going to college, learning to code and create your perfect mod with 80 fps?

not showing up at all when I press right on the D pad the brights come on and when I hold E he beeps the horn.

Spent some time on the Motor Life Boat model last night getting the emergency light to look more realistic. Now the rotator has an emissive texture on it, so the rotating light actually lights up! Looks a lot more legit than it used to, that's for sure.
 
 

Finally got the life ring all integrated with the mod, and fixed some bugs with it. Makes ocean rescue callouts done from a boat a lot more legit, as now you don't even have to go in the water to rescue most peds!
