Alright, I'll put that in my development queue. Might be a while, since I have three other models I'm working on right now.

It's because the ram bar and the spotlight are named as an extra. You can fix this by naming the parts something else like misc_a-z
Just a side note, if the car is locked then you would have to contact the author to fix it.

Modders can set wraparounds to extras 10, 11, and 12. They will work as any other object as an extra that is not used by ELS. It is just that no one has done so yet.

Try looking into popcycle.dat, I have messed around in there and you can change what peds drive what vehicles, where which vehicle models patrol, at which times of day... etc. It's a really cool file.

Hey everyone. I'll do my best to keep this short; just a little something that made me happy that I wanted to share here.

I'm a member of the Criminal Justice Student Association on my campus, and yesterday I brought up the idea to our faculty advisor of doing an LSPDFR session one day, since a large amount of the students in the Association want to join the force after college. He was on board with the idea, with the one concern that the events in-game can take a little while and might limit participation. (Pursuits, traffic stops, etc.)

I just figured it was worth bringing up that I'm trying to get LSPDFR out there to be used as an educational tool. Hopefully this will attract more people into the forums, which leads to more downloads, and hopefully more donators to our amazing modders

    Cheers

The police cruiser with the windshield wipers is creative, it'd be nice to see more vehicles support that. Although, you'd think R* would've included windshield wipers in the first place (since Mafia II & III have them).

As Trent stated above, Those of us doing online multiplayer patrols are using the five reborn platform. We (KUFFS) use our own private server to host. It is not LSPDFR, because Rage hook and all related plugins will not work with Reborn.   We have custom vehicles, peds, weapons and sirens in but thats about it.

    Hello everyone!
I've been recently gotten back into GTA V modding for LSPDFR. I knew my way around in GTA IV quite well. But now I am still trying to figure stuff all out.

The main thing I have been wondering but haven't been able to find after quite a few google searches. The DLC packs (patchday..ng). Is it possible to create a custom DLC in which I can put all my vehicle mods?  Can I also put my carvariations.meta file in here?
And if so, how do I make that the one that overwrites the others. I assume there is some sort of hierarchy which makes it that patchday4ng overwrites x64e.rpf.

Then last but not least the meta files. Currently every car mod I have installed (all by britishgamer88) and those all have their carvariations.meta in the mpchristmas2 DLC. Is it safe to assume that I can put all my carvaration mods into mpchristmas2?
On top of that I am looking I am trying to organize my meta file. Can I add comment lines and change up the order of the items? Or will that break anything?

So to keep it easier to read a quick list of my questions:
    1) Can I make my own custom dlc.rpf to put all my car mods in?
    2) Can I put my carvariations.meta and vehicles.meta files in that same custom dlc.rpf?
    3) How do I make to game recognize my custom dlc.rpf so the vehicles actually load ingame?
    4) Can I put all my carvariations.meta changes for carmods in the mpchristmas2 dlc?
    5) Can I put comments (and what is the proper tag for a comment) in the meta file and rearrange the order of the <item>'s without breaking anything?
