  1. Yep, every setting is maxed out. It just happens on a few models.
  2. Hello. I am wondering why some vehicle mods have light bars that are an off red/orange colour and light blue during the day but at night time they are normal? I have attatched a video below to show you what I mean. This is not an issue on all vehicles I install just on a wee bit of them (so I assume an issue with those vehicles). I am using BradM police pack and sherrif pack aswell as Pricefield's NHP sedan pack. I have used Make Visuals Great Again, Naturalvision Remastered and VisualV (with Jeff Favignano's visualsettings) and they all have have the lightbar issue during the day on certain vehicle mods which makes be 100% sure its not "my fault" and it just happens to be the vehicles themselves. However I am curious as to why it does this. (if video is only in low quality it is because YouTube is still processing the video, should be 1080p)
  3. I did a search and there doesn't seem to be one that was added in an RDE folder, maybe they used one shown in the pic that instead.
  4. Firekitten had something to do with the new textures I believe, I am pretty sure she made them herself.
  5. I am sure that this isn't an RDE issue as this occurs in default GTA 5. It pisses me off so much especially when you go on a foot pursuit and then the initial scene despawns. There is a mod called "Entity Persistence" that fixes this. From the mod page:
I really admire the rumbler siren and this allows me to use it in my game. In my opinion this is the best rumbler siren I have found/used but they all seem to have one thing in common. They are really quiet, however your siren is much louder then the other rumbler sirens. The wail tone has perfect volume and so does the airhorn, just the other tones could be a tiny bit louder. As I am sure this is a personal thing I did not let it affect my rating. I swap sirens every now and then but currently these will be staying in my games. Thanks for the mod.
  6. There is a way, it involves editing a file (could be more steps then this) but cant remember the name. Your best bet is to make a post in the support forums.
  7. Wow that timing, Currently looking for an unmarked/undercover impala and came across this
  8. Thanks very much for your response. This give me a lot of useful insight that I didn't have before.
  9. I just deleted everything in relation to sixstarreponse. From what I can remember, the files are in the scripts folder and maybe 1 or 2 in the base gta 5 folder.
  10. Hey there. I have been trying to figure out how many units would respond/be needed in different scenarios and using that information when playing LSPDFR. I know things vary from different places and the amount of officers available. I assume calling for backup in most cases is a "using your head" thing. I have my game as realistic as It can be and with custom backup the response times are much better and realistic. I want to add to this by calling in the realistic amount for each incident. Below are some I am confused about but anything in general would also help me. Wanted person: If there is a vehicle that has been identified lets say for LSPDFR sake via the "traffic cameras", how many units would respond to a wanted felon in a vehicle. A similar scenario, what happens if you pull someone over for a traffic offence and whilst running their plate/information they come back with warrants. As you are on scene by "yourself" how many units would you want before you went in for the arrest? The person would probably know about the warrants and might try to do something whilst you are by yourself so you cant stall them forever. Vehicle Pursuit: How many units would normally be involved in your typical pursuit. I assume that a wanted felon pursuit would require more officers then usual. Officer involved shooting: From what I can tell basically an unit that is not busy with a serious call responds. But do any tactical police respond or is it all handled by the typical LEO? These are some of the scenarios I need clarification on. Sorry if these seem obvious to you but where I am from the police are much different to USA police. Pursuits basically never happen and when they do the police cant "chase" them they can only follow via helicopter and have units in the area waiting for the vehicle to stop. Thanks for reading.
  11. Yes go back a page or 2 Sorry was on mobile. @Jax765 worked on it. @badass22
RDE is a mod that really changes the way law enforcement feels. I really enjoy having the game as lore friendly as possible which this really achieves well. The implementation of law enforcement into LSPDFR is amazing. The response times from backup is as realistic as you can get in GTA 5. Calling backup for a police officer? They might be a few blocks away, they could be far away, or they might be close to you. No longer having backup spawn right in your face. When you call backup for more uncommon units such as SWAT or FBI, they spawn far away as those units wouldn't be down the street realistically. The vehicles. They are way better then the default vehicles and so much added on. I guess I am spoiled with ELS vehicles that the default environmental lighting and having "basic" lighting does not fancy me. In saying that it is very simple to replace vehicles with your choice, also the rotary lights look so flippin amazing at night. On top of this, RDE is currently working on making ELS vehicles so that will be a huge improvement. I think from now on I will always have RDE in my game. I appreciate the hard work from everyone that has committed their time to this project.
  12. Thanks, I just wasn't sure if anything "special" needed to be done with RDE. Appreciate your reply.
  13. I was just wondering what you need to do to replace the vehicles in RDE with ELS vehicles. I replace and add vehicles on all the time so I know how its done, but with RDE is there anything different that needs to be done? Did you need to change anything in the carvariations or was is just the simple steps you normally do such as; Rename your vehicles to the required name, change the vehicles line in the vehicles.meta if required to suit the model. I normally just copy and paste a generic carvariations line into the carvariations and change just the model/name to what I need and this is where I am confused with RDE. I think the already existing lines would be fine. In my thinking nothing would be different with RDE (except for the .meta files are in the added RDE folders), I guess I am looking for reassurance before I try it.
  14. Ok thanks for explaining it to me. That makes sense with the results I just observed. I installed Keep Calm (causes a performance drop for me) No gang wars occured at all, even with spawning in members of opposing factions. Id rather have the chaos the relationship brings over not having it at all such as removing the file. Will go back to replacing Keep Calm with Stop shitting bricks and will only go to gang areas when I want to. I appreciate your time.
  15. Geez now I made myself look like an idiot haha, I searched and searched to see if i could find people talking about this before and I did not see any. Now I just went back a few pages and saw If I delete that file, will it affect anything else? When I double checked the comments just before I saw your post about working on this. Does this edited file create "events" or does it make when one faction sees another faction they will attack each other? I really do enjoy it though other then the frequency it occurs. I will try Keep Calm to prevent unrelated gang members joining in and see if that works. Hopefully that makes the gang wars happen but do not make other gang members get aggressive to me and join when I shoot. I will report back, if that works then the gang wars would be a 10/10.
  16. I am really enjoying RDE, this is marvelous. I just have a question regarding gang fights. I love this concept and it really adds ambient life rather then relying on callouts with LSPDFR. However I can not patrol in the gang areas with getting a massive gang incident every 3 or so minutes. Is there a way to tweak this? For example, i was patrolling around grove street and a gang carjacking occurred which made the driver of the carjacked vehicle open fire which caused a big war. This was awesome to see as it resulted in a long intense shootout. After the gang incident stopped and everything was cleaned up I headed towards the Vagos area and then another incident occurred. I didn't get to see what was the initial attack as I heard gunshots before I could get there. I don't want to come across as a nitpicker. I haven't seen any comments regarding this issue so I thought I'd bring it up.
  17. No worries, so much effort has been put into this mod and it really shows.
  18. Thanks, I heard a couple weeks ago they a re planning making ELS vehicles and got excited that it was this release. I know it will take a lot of work so i kind knew it wouldnt be this early.
  19. Just a quick question, i have tried to find out before commenting. Is this update the one that included ELS vehicles? I assume its not but just want to double check.
  20. Oh really that is cool, what/who were you in it? if you dont mind me asking.
(WTF just realised I haven't reviewed this ) These sirens have been essential for me to use. The instructions are very easy to follow (to most people) and allows you to change the sirens with ease whenever you feel like. Some of the sirens are quiet compared to the others but luckily for me all the ones I have been interested in using have "normal" volume. I appreciate your time and effort to allow the community to use these in LSPDFR.
