  1. Make the settings lower, but keep the resolution the same. Maybe put everything to medium.
  2. Yeah, your CPU isn't good enough for the game I'm afraid, and you graphics card needs to be upgraded too.
  3. Head to this site: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx and select GTA 4, it'll tell you what parts you need to upgrade.
  4. I had that idea a while back, but could never figure out what model I would replace to use it. Good luck, you'll certainly have my download if you release it....
  5. Yes, my sirens turn off, if I'm using non-els, but ELS lights will stay on.
  6. This problem is related to installation, so the diagnostics log won't really be much use.
  7. Please use the search feature on the site before posting. 1) Make sure your GTA directories are not readonly, especially the COMMON and DATA folders. 2) Also ensure you are running the installer as an administrator. Please use the search feature on the site before posting.
  8. Knew this already but I'm sure others will find it useful. Just a note though, that it doesn't work on added cars, only if you replace stock models.... +1
  9. Not always, but it's possible. Try reducing your graphics settings.....
  10. Don't want to hijack, let's leave this guys thread, finish this in a PM.
  11. Second download down: http://www.gta-downl...der-backup.html And No problem!
  12. Give us the rest of your specs so we can tell if there is anything else you need to upgrade. There's no point in upgrading the GPU to find that your processor is bottlenecking the rest of your kit.
  13. That's your problem. Don't mod police, or police2.... Instead, only mod noose, fbi, polpatriot... The slots that aren't spawned so often.
  14. Ah, I see. What MoBo do you have?
  15. I've got the 560Ti, if you can afford it, get it, it's much more powerful than the 550.
  16. Yes car mods, what ones have you replaced? What were the file names of the mods? Examples: police, police2, noose, fbi, polpatriot, admiral
  17. @Ninja, it's just his install directory. Won't affect gameplay. @Signo, what slots do you mod? Police, police2, noose?
  18. The problem is that your PC is struggling to cope with the game. Because the game is more CPU dependant, it doesn't always matter what GPU your using.
  19. Meh, it'll increase over time.
  20. Of course, why wouldn't that be enough?
  21. Of course, ninja.
  22. Try lowering the graphics settings.
