I'm not sure where to turn to see if anyone can help me with this issue. My game worked fine up until yesterday. It kept trying to load story mode but never quite worked. I didn't think much of it because I was leaving at the time. Came back home that night and finally decided to upgrade my windows 7 ultimate to windows 10 pro. Now that it is all set and done, GTA V won't work at all. First off, I always ran it via Ragehook. Now when I try that I get an error saying that I must launch through steam. Fine, so be it. Launch via Steam, and I load story mode, and maybe 10 seconds in, the game crashes. I have tried verifying the game cache/updating gpu/ restarting computer/ checking permissions/ running as admin, all kinds of stuff. Safe mode does the same thing. The only log I found was in the my documents rockstar folder which I'll add below.

Looking to stay under 200. I've found a few but I'm not sure if one of these would do the job or if I should keep searching. I just want to be able to run LSPDFR on higher quality settings. My processor is an AMD FX6300 6 core 4.2ghz. These are the 2 I saw, I was told to avoid AMDs graphics cards, but idk. Is a 4 gig card going to help me noticeably more than a 2 gig card would? I have a Radeon 7770 1gb card right now and that's just not cutting it. I tried some tweaking and it seems to have helped a little but I think the big things are if I should keep it at normal quality of change that. If I went up to the next highest which is high then it takes the vmem up to 1600. My other question was about the resolution and what that should be. thanks for the help

I recently bought gta5 after seeing that my computer should be plenty to run it at decent settings. I saw a few videos on my phone with the same specs and the game actually looked decent but I can't seem to get my graphics to look even close. They look like an old original Xbox game. I'm running a radeon 7770hd 1ghz, amd fx6300 6core, and 8 gigs of ram. Running it in directx10 right now with it set to normal on basically everyrhing and that's taking 1018/1024 video mem. What could I do to improve it? Could my moniter make a difference? Thanks for any help in advance

Hopefully a reinstall will allow the game to work, then I'll make sure to back it up so this doesnt happen again lol Thanks for the help :)

Sadly I dont have any, at the time I never knew I could do that lol. Guess re-installation it is I deleted the gta folder in the program files when I reinstalled but there were still mods on the new install, is there something else I need to do/delete before re-installing?

Sadly that didn't help. :( Any other ideas? Or is there any way to restore the original files or download them without having to wait hours for the game to re-install?

I recently just started playing again, yesterday was my first attempt since like december. Everything was working yesterday, up until I installed the newest lcpdfr, then it stopped working. I tried to reinstall via steam but I can still see some of my old mods in the files so idk if it actually changed anything. I checked both and there is files in both of the locations.

I recently started playing lcpdfr again and tried downloading the latest version. My game crashed right away, and after a bunch of trouble I reinstalled everything. When LCPDFR is not on my files, the game usually loads fine without crashing. Sometimes it crashes, always while on the cutscenes, no error messages. I tried deleting the tazer files, nothing. I tried manually installing the game, nothing. When lcpdfr is on my files and I get on the game without crashing, I cannot go on duty by pressing anything as if none of my mods are there. EDIT - After more messing around, I cant load the game at all. It goes black after launching then returns with no error message. I've been trying to fix this for hours, any help would be appreciated.

My question is will this build be able to support GTA at a high level of detail in addition to mods such as ICEnhancer and high poly car mods? Thanks.

People call me crazy for it, but with some changes and the command line - GTA runs quite well on intel graphics. Just trying to get it to work on here till I manage to get my new PC built. :(

Tried it and nothing. I really dont understand why I did the exact thing before on my laptop and it worked perfectly fine but its not working now, lol.

I've managed to use a commandline on my computer with Intel HD graphics before. I had to factory reset and lost all my downloads, etc. Went to do everything the same and the commandline isn't working this time around. Well, I would say that it's not completely working - when I restrict things like the screen size or view distance it works - but the nomemrestrict and norestrictions are not working at all. My 'resources available' say 202/59 MB, but I know in the past I've gotten it to work just fine. I tried the commandline text file in the GTA directory, and I've tried the Launch GTA shortcut and adding the restrictions to it but have had no luck. (My copy is off steam, btw) If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it tons.

I was trying to get my game to work and whenever I'd launch it via steam nothing would show up. I found a suggestion online that says to use xliveless rather than the dsound. That fixed my problem, but now without dsound I can't play online which is something I'd really like to do.. Is there any way to use xlive to play online? Or does anyone have an idea as to how I can fix this? Thanks!

Yeah lol, went through all of them numerous times. For example - I downloaded a sheriff character. I go into the police station and I see the guy I downloaded, but I myself am unable to select them. I also downloaded an fbi pack, and none of those guys are showing up at all.

Hey guys When I download new peds I can see the new police offers in-game but I'm unable to actually use them when loading up LCPDFR. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or something I have to change? Thanks in advance for any help!

Yeah it's the laptop I got from my school lol. But if I did buy the game, would it be possible to tweak it enough so it didnt lag like crazy? I'm not picky, so I don't care too much if the graphics don't look that great/if it lags at times, I just want to be able to play it to the point where I can enjoy it, lol.

Hey guys, I've got a question about my graphics card. I tried running CYRI and it told me my graphics card did not meet the dedicated video ram requirement (It says mine has 64mb, need 256mb) but I've seen numerous videos saying you can run it with this card, and others saying you cannot. Can anyone help me out here please? I really don't know where else to ask about this and nobodys helping me. Hey guys, I'm new here. Not sure if this is the correct section to ask this so bare with me here. I've been wanting to get a new computer that can properly run GTA /LCPDFR for awhile now, because my current computer can't run it. My only requirement would be that this new computer can run the game without lagging like crazy. I don't mind playing on lower settings. Can anyone recommend one for around $300-500? 500 would be my absolute max. Thanks!
