  1. @TylerKrichbaum One way to solve that issue with the "LOS SANTOS POLICE" being too large is to make the text skinner. Put the "LOS SANTOS" to the left of the maker emblem (Ford, Chevy, Dodge, etc) on cars that have it, and "POLICE" on the right. You can play around with the layers to achieve this effect in your respective editing program. If you want more information/don't know what I mean, I'd be happy to explain it further. Thanks for considering my suggestions.
It's not bad. I'll give you that. I love simple designs that are functional and universal. However, there are some improvements you should make before I can give it 5-stars. Remember, this is all constructive criticism and is purely my opinion. Towards the rear on the side of the vehicle, add text that says EMERGENCY 911 Towards the front on the side of the vehicle, that's where I would put the division (e.g. Supervisor, Port Authority, Traffic Services, etc) Replace the city seal with a police badge Instead of saying just "POLICE" on the back, I would have it say CITY POLICE or LOS SANTOS POLICE for example The size of the design should be more uniform across the vehicles. For example, the design on the Charger is comparatively small than the design on the Tahoe. Depending on the size of the car and/or the room it has to work with to do the design, you should make your livery account for that. This is my way of nit-picking. I want to stress that what you have right now is not bad, and again, this is my opinion. If you agree with me, make the improvements as you see fit. I'm excited to see where this pack goes, and where you go as a texturer. Good luck!
  2. Since I can't find any real-life pictures to judge by, I can't judge this on accuracy to its real-life counterpart, however.... It's not a bad skin, everything looks well placed and I'd drive a car looking like this. Just one minor thing, where it says "ATHERTON" by the license plate, the license plate is colliding with it. Hopefully you can move that elsewhere and then you've got a pretty good skin. If you ever look into making more skins in the future, (especially more complex ones) you may want to get yourself a more sophisticated font selection to more accurately represent what you're skinning. Some typical ones they use are Eurostile/Microgramma Bold Italic, Serpentine Bold, and in California, Helvetica Neue bold and Brush Script. I'll stop ranting now, but nevertheless, good job and, if you can make those improvements, it's got a 5-star from me. Prov
  3. For your first texture, this is not bad. At least you took the time to get some custom fonts and outlines, instead of using Arial or Impact lol... hope to see more from you in the future.
  4. Assonet PD.. A classic design. Good job Imbert! You should make these say Blaine County Sheriff too.
  5. I can help. Are you on Retail copy or Steam?
You, sir, are a fucking savage. Could you possibly do a texture for the Challenger SRT PotatoCat from this pack? http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/15262-blaine-county-sheriffs-office-pack/ Thanks so much! Best, Providence Law
  6. Is this by any chance the town of Barrington, Rhode Island? Other than that, beautiful! I noticed the badge and text style was very similar.
I remember using these textures in GTAIV, and I love how the community is back at it again in GTAV. So awesome, but I have one minor thing I would like to see if you don't mind. Could you make a little bit more lore-friendly version, and remove the maple leaf and put a badge there instead? That would be great and I'd appreciate it if you would. Nevertheless, amazing job. 7. Seen as how it looks like you know what you're doing, I'd love to see Rhode Island State Police. Let me know if you need font help or finding the logo, etc.
  8. Never mind, I fixed it on my own. Please close this thread.
  9. Hello everyone, I'm no expert on my .meta files, and so I've recently edited my vehicles.meta. Now, it's crashing my game. However, when I revert it to the default meta, it doesn't do this. I'll post the .meta file and if someone can let me know what my issue is, and/or edit the file, and attach the fixed version, that would be greatly appreciated. Signed, Providence Law vehicles.meta
  10. I highly doubt it, but there's plenty of them like it around there. You could always request someone make something similar on the forums.
  11. Well, yes, but I've had this issue before the latest patch.
  12. @Albo1125 I'm wondering if you can help me. When I go on duty, my GTA 5 crashes, but when I remove the Arrest Manager, it doesn't. I created a thread here where you can find my Rage Plugin Hook log, PC specs, etc. http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/72689-gtav-crashes-when-i-go-on-duty/
  13. Albo won't respond to me in the comments or in this thread, so I'm at a loss for now.

  15. Yeah, but it's kind of essential. And that means I can't use LSPDFR+ either, even though all of those work perfectly.
