The EUP configuration file you downloaded likely does not match the version of EUP you have installed. For example, if you're using a configuration file built for EUP version 9.3, it would typically state "9.3." However, users may accidentally download a configuration file for a paid version like 9.6 or higher, even though they have the version labeled 9.3 in their game folder. If the configuration file and EUP version do not match, try reinstalling EUP in the correct order - first Law and Order, then Serve and Rescue. After reinstalling, replace all the files in your game folder. This should help resolve the issue.

To add a new vehicle to a department in the garage menu, first locate and open the duty_selection_eup.xml file. Then, append the necessary additional lines at the end of the file. However, you can only add vehicles to the garage if the corresponding department already exists in the custom data folder. Finally, be sure to rename the new vehicle entries when modifying the agencyRef section of the file.

If you've added a custom EUP for the BCSO, any related changes should be made through the Default Regions. To edit supervisor or motorcycle uniforms, you can find those in the Special Units folder. Additionally, you may need to adjust the Custom Regions, as I've set up custom patrol zones for various departments, including the BCSO. If you did not use Ultimate Backup, you must change the BCSO departmental file in the custom data folder.

The first pathway is designated for Ultimate Backup, while the second one is intended for LSPDFR itself. You have to make changes to both pathways because they cater to separate plugins and function differently. Ultimate Backup manages all your backup menu settings for UB, while LSPDFR data oversees the settings for the default backup menu, which also regulates ambient spawn settings.

If you already downgraded your save, you can try copying and pasting your save files to the following pathway. Note this pathway is used by xlive, so that should help fix the issue you are having. AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames\user
