the NW on the trunk means that it is from the Northwest area command. Here is a list of area commands that you can replicate. http://www.lvmpd.com/FindNearestCommand/Northwest/tabid/333/Default.aspx

There are daytime lights, the headlights, high beams and next to the daytime lights are the indicators. On the inside are the daytime lights and the outside, the indicators.

I don't think it would make sense to put them in unless they upgrade the fleet, they probably still use halogens for the lights.
