unitedOrange66 reacted to Will in Marking AI Content on Your Files@JhnDoe I think you've missed the point here. If you look in our downloads section, there has been a large influx of mods written entirely by AI. I think the first or second mod to use this disclosure said "AI made this for me in one hour." The idea with this system is simply to be transparent about AI use in development, not to prohibit or punish it.
AI can be an excellent tool when used correctly. We don't want anyone to think that if they used AI in creating their mod that they are not welcome here - we welcome all sorts of mods. Everyone has to start somewhere and if your first mod was made by AI, so what? Take what you've learned from that and apply it to make greater things. Maybe you've been making mods for years and AI lets you do things you've never had time or been able to do before. We just want our users to know what role, if any, AI played in what they are downloading. It's really no different than putting everyone who contributed in the credits.

unitedOrange66 reacted to Cyan in Marking AI Content on Your FilesGenerative AI is being used more and more in mod creation, and we believe transparency around its use is important. While AI offers exciting new possibilities, we understand that not everyone wants to engage with AI-made content. We hope that clear disclosure helps everyone make an informed choice before downloading a mod, and makes it easy to filter out AI-made content.
Starting today, we’re rolling out a new AI disclosure system. It allows authors to disclose the extent of their AI usage, and to be specific about which parts of a mod were AI-made or AI-assisted.
The following AI disclosure options are available:
Description
Tick this if your description was generated or rewritten/refined using AI.
We would also like to note: if you use AI to help write your description in any way, please make sure you verify all claims about your mod. We’re seeing an increase in AI-written descriptions that mention features the mod doesn’t actually include, so this is now enforced under our File Guidelines.
Images
Tick this if any images on your mod page were generated or edited/refined using AI.
Mod & Mod Content
Minor: AI helped with small refinements to the mod or its content (for example: using a chatbot/agent for assistance, or generating assets used in the mod).
Moderate: AI contributed more than 50% of the mod’s content (code, images, data, etc.).
Significant: AI created most or all of the mod (for example: full generation). Tick this as well if you wouldn’t have been able to make the mod without AI.
Some light use doesn’t need disclosure — for example, basic autocomplete or bouncing ideas off an AI.
Disclosures will appear below the file description. If you've ticked Mod & Mod Content, you will be asked for a 'Reason'. You should enter more information (why and how AI is being used) in here.
If you select Mod & Mod Content at Moderate or Significant, your file will also be tagged with the “ai” tag. This makes it easier for the community to filter AI-involved mods if they want to, and makes AI usage clear at a glance.
This is now required for new submissions, and we ask that creators also start updating their submissions if they have an AI disclosure to make. We'd like to request that all disclosures are made by the end of February.
We are hoping we do not have to enforce this too broadly, and creators will come forward and be honest about their work. There are ways of detecting AI work in images, description and content and our moderation team will kindly remind you to make a disclosure if they receive a report of AI work that looks valid. If our staff feel that the AI disclosure is inaccurate or incomplete, files may be hidden until we believe they are in compliance. Making inaccurate AI disclosures may also lead to negative reputation by our automated approval systems.
This is a first step toward balancing the new possibilities AI brings with individual preferences and a changing modding landscape.
Thanks for helping us keep things clear and transparent for everyone.
And to support that same goal of clarity and choice, we’ll be sharing more soon about global filtering options for mod discovery. Separately, we’ll also have some news to share shortly regarding the new LCPDFR.com website API.

type in your weapon name, drop down box is Unsigned Int, then click generate
You would then put that hash number into your Fast Draw weapon slot.

unitedOrange66 reacted to itsjustcurtis in How to make LSPDFR work with Menyoo (Bermuda Triangle fix)Hi, ItsJustCurtis here, found this thread after talking to a friend about his own LSPDFR issues. You are allowed to ask me for permission lol, rather than messing around with trying to hexedit the asi, just modify the source code and recompile; if you send it over as a Pull Request, I can merge it into the main codebase and release this as a fix for everyone.

unitedOrange66 reacted to Lennyy in Can't go on DUTYA couple of things:
1. Your GrammarPolice is missing the en-US language for its speech recognition. Install a language here, make sure to install the MSSpeech_SR file, not TTS: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27224
2. PolicingRedefined crashed due to an invalid weapon asset when trying to load Loadouts.xml. Maybe try renaming your mods folder to _mods and try again to see if it's a weapon model/attachment.
3. REALISTICTASER has an error while checking for updates which looks to end in a exception as well. Might be worth removing to see if the issue persists (after PR has started working again).
Can you show me where in the RPH log that is?
RageNativeUI doesn't belong in \Plugins\ at all.
They don't have LML installed at all. Those are just logging lines stating there is no LML present in the game.
In this log, LSPDFR crashes on load
What kind of issue would "a callout with duplicate calls" look like?

unitedOrange66 got a reaction from UpperMidnight in Bulletproof glassBelow are the flags you could add to vehicle.meta to have "bullet resistant" glass/windshield. Please note that editing vehicle's window collision may be necessary to achieve the intended effect:
"FLAG_HAS_BULLETPROOF_GLASS"
"Prevents the glass from breaking, essentially making it behave as static glass found on buildings around the map."
FLAG_HAS_BULLET_RESISTANT_GLASS"
"The vehicle's glass becomes resistant to bullets. The collision ID for windows must be set to ID 122 (strong glass/windshield) for the flag to have an effect."

unitedOrange66 got a reaction from cop99 in EUP only load vanilla uniformsPlease do not re-upload .dll file (EUP.dll) here.
For PR backup to spawn with custom EUP, you have to edit the appropriate .xml files in PR by changing the components of the backup ped.

unitedOrange66 got a reaction from play4fun28 in Weird character spawning when launching the gameAs for spawning as Micheal - make sure to load LSPDFR.dll at startup via RPH;
As for inconsistent spawning locations - you have likely replaced your previous lspdfr.ini while updating. Press M to open the in-game LSPDFR interaction menu, and change your character spawn location from there.
As for outfit - use a trainer to select the desired outfit, then open the RPH console and type: save current outfit as off duty outfit (without spaces, it should automatically pop up). If it didn't save upon restarting the game, repeat the same process until it saves.

unitedOrange66 got a reaction from Officer Here in Looking for different perspectives on Policing RedefinedSimply categorizing Policing Redefined as a new "combo of STP and UB" not only shows a lack of appreciation for the developers who had been working hard in the past few years; but you are also ignoring the fact that Policing Redefined is the new alternative to STP and UB, with brand new features that have never been incorporated into any plugins before.
Of course, it is a personal "perspective," as it undoubtfully brings personal bias to the surface when criticizing a modification.

As for police computer, I found EPC is rather a convenient plugin if you are a Steam user, by utilizing the Steam overlay instead of tabbing out of the game or setting up a separate laptop/PC.

I don't know how to let smy Cop 1 use eup uniform.but EUPFR basic configuration or EUPFR Ultimate or EUP backup configuration can change the normal Cop into eup uniformed Cop.
-
Giving the cop ped an EUP-like uniform isn't possible as default ped clothing cannot be changed. What you can do is install EUP alongside EUPFR or EUPFR:UE to change the station and ambiently spawning cops into MP models with EUP clothing. Alternatively, you can install PEDS by AlexAshfold, which is essentially an overhaul of the cop peds without providing them with MP models.
