I installed some new models to play with but there is no readme document or any instruction as to where to place these 2 files ( CARVARIATION.META , CARCOLS.META )

 

 

I already tried \update\x64\dlcpacks\[one of the dlc folders]\dlc.rpf\common\data       But its just an empty folder after data.

ok can you please try  Mods -> update -> update.rpf -> Common -> Data

I tried your method with CTRL + F3 but carvariations.meta and carcols.meta is only found in the dlc_patch folder but its not helping as there is about 100 carcols.meta and carvariations.meta  files in different folders ,not just 1.

 

Also this path Mods -> update -> update.rpf -> Common -> Data  does not have the files either.
