Ah, now let's get serious. I've got an ambulance and a police car installed. Let's get to it! South Los Santos, 1992. The Ballas have taken over Grove Street, and the main players of the Grove Street Families are either exiled, dead or missing. Gang violence and class divides are rife across the city. And the LSPD? Corrupt. It's only a hair-trigger away from a riot...

    Big News!

From the album: Hullian111's General Misadventures

Remember all those times I moped around saying that I couldn't play GTA V? Well, as of earlier this morning, I now have a working - and moddable - copy of GTA V on Steam! Now I have realised a few issues - my computer, which I bought specifically to handle GTA V at it's best nearly two years ago, can't run GTA V at top spec. Unfortunately, that means my screenshots aren't going to come out the best. But that's the best I can do at around about £700 worth of computer. Also, I've got no mods installed. I'm working on that - I'm taking GTA V all the way back to lore-friendly 1992. I've just got to get some good mods together - anyone got a list of lore-friendly civ cars I can add in? And also, I haven't really got my screenshot funk on yet. I'm working on getting screenshots properly set up, but I need to get used to these new key bindings. And also, I need to swap out the trainer for the Menyoo trainer. And don't worry, I'm not stepping foot into multiplayer. I'm not abandoning GTA IV, though, I've still got stuff to do there. So stick around for a bit - it's going to be a while before I properly get going for GTA V.

  3. I'm pretty sure that's literally a YouTube screenshot turned down to the lowest JPEG possible.
  4. This is probably going to feature in LSPDFR videos with millions of views. Because police supercars is, of course, a winning YouTube format.
  5. It's been nearly six months since I updated this topic, yes. But I have brilliant news. I now posses a working, legal Steam copy of GTA V. Expect modding news, soon.

    hybrid

I know there's a oil-supporting baboon in charge, but think about it - oil isn't going to last forever in America. All the other countries are getting into low-emissions and saving the environment now, and putting diesel/petrol in police cars is going to start getting expensive. And as far as I'm concerned, the Cruze looks pretty alright. Why give me that allegory if you know we only got the Cruze?
  7. That Western Cape plate is way too bland.

I don't get the hate surrounding this car IRL. Nothing's ever going to supplant the Crown Victoria, but this is the best thing we've got, I think.

    Nordberg

Only you would make an entire police car while drunk. Never thought that sort of thing happened.

    Boy Racers

From the album: Hullian111's Gratuitous Misadventures

MC Mental boomed into the night from a blue Sentinel XS as an 18-year-old 'boy racer' who had obviously played too much Need For Speed tries to evade the Greater Liberty Police, almost slamming straight into an Arriva bus. The Aerial Unit then had to be called out from Francis International, as well as two units from the Motorway Division, eventually managing to box in the driver along Union Drive and jail him for dangerous driving.

The first release of 2018! This one was rather tricky, as the NJSP/ASP livery is very...unique compared to the other states', and also, I was missing a crest. Thanks to Kalleboston for helping me on that front. This is ThatOneHick's Declasse Premier (Non-ELS), modified to give the appearance of a 1990s ASP car, with realistic number plates. Using resources from the ASP Stanier (thanks, Abraxas!), and many reference images, I have made the texture as accurate as can be with the limitations GTA IV texturing has. There's a chance that the liveries may be slightly incorrect because of said limitations, and my skills, so if any problems or inaccuracies show, tell me. The original model is located here (much credit goes to @ThatOneHick for a perfect police car - now we wait for the Merit/Premier Classic!) Please do not redistribute without my permission. This mod is exclusive to LCPDFR.com. Enjoy!

Another project about to be released! Just need to put in three more liveries, and I'm done. With thanks to Kalleboston for the crest help. An Alderney State Police officer waits for a breakdown team to arrive on the Plumber's Skyway, where one unlucky driver broke down in the middle of the road, finding himself both unable to move and ticking off the temper of the state troopers along the Skyway. Traffic backed up along that road for quite some distance due to the breakdown, delaying the truck even more.

  14. Ooh, that reminds me of the Mafia 3 police car!
  15. Yeah, that's sort of what I'm going for. Think with a little bit of tidying, I can put it in. Also, there's no real rush needed for you to PM me to check - I would have got around to it because of the notification.
  16. Er, those appear to be broken. Thanks for the resource, yes, but I'm afraid those are the wrong logos. Though I may use them somewhere in the future.

    Barbie World

Someone please rewrite the bold lines, it doesn't gel. (yes, it's a joke, but well-thought jokes are brilliant)
  18. Now making the NLSP Premier was easy enough, however, making an Alderney State livery proves harder because...triangles. Please see below: So now, I've hit a brick wall. I'm using the same method as to how I made the NLSP livery - copy over from the Stanier - but because of the unique livery of the NJSP/ASP, I've been forced to trace over the stripes of the livery. And now, I can't go on without delving into the bog-standard and very boring vanilla logo. Is there anyone out there who has a transparent copy of Abraxas' Alderney State Police logo? I really don't want to use the boring one, and I really don't want to make one myself, because I'm not too good at making logos from scratch. If a copy is provided, then you will be credited in the upcoming releases relating to the Alderney State Police. Admins, please move if in wrong place.

*sigh* Never change, Abdi, never change.

I think it's more: "GTFO the road, maniac!", followed by a serious crash.

Well, my last release of 2017. Hopefully, this will fill a hole some people have been needing. Oh, and Abdi, I'm planning on doing that ASP one as you requested. Don't count on it, though - pretty dodgy number plate to deal with. This is ThatOneHick's Declasse Premier (Non-ELS), modified to give the appearance of a 1990s NLSP car, with realistic number plates. Using resources from the NLSP Stanier (thanks, Abraxas!), and many reference images, I have made the texture as accurate as can be with the limitations GTA IV texturing has. There's a chance that the liveries may be slightly incorrect because of said limitations, and my skills, for example, the door handles are not cut away, as they would have been a pain to do, so if any problems or inaccuracies show, tell me. The original model is located here (much credit goes to @ThatOneHick for a perfect police car - now we wait for the Merit Classic!) Please do not redistribute without my permission. This mod is exclusive to LCPDFR.com. Enjoy, and have a happy 2018!

    A New Project

From the album: Hullian111's Gratuitous Misadventures

Okay, it's not really a project. It's nearly finished, I've just got to get permissions issues out of the way, if possible. Also, yes, the door handles aren't cut away. I really don't want to do those - they're a right old pain. And here, we have a New Liberty State Police Premier in the fog. I'm planning on putting this out, eventually, and maybe also putting out an Aldenrey State Police Premier, too. If only Abraxas was still around to make these types of liveries...
