That's a hell of a stance for the NSWPF to take. I would be interested to see how it would hold up in the Fair Work Commission if they took action against someone for playing games while training, especially if there was no adverse impact to their performance.

In any case, good luck with the training.

If there was a google car model, I would totally use it when driving around for those spawn points.
Will get a file up in the next day or so with everything I've done so far.

Hopefully. I've noticed one or two around here lately, which is nice... I think they went iLoads because Hilux's got so pricey... which is ironic because the iLoads seem to be far less reliable.

I’ve had a few Klugers, just upgraded
to a 2017 model this year.  Beautiful cars.

ACT Police have a couple of unmarked ones.

They might have to come back with the end of the Commodore/Falcon ute... and everyone else seeming to phase out the Hilux/Rangers...

Saw the new ACT Policing lightbar today. Looks like it's gonna be a Code 3 Pursuit.

Slow reply, sorry, it's been absolutely non-stop.

One of the local brigades summed it up the other night with this facebook post:
We did end up getting a lot of media. Not much from channel 7 though. Hah.

Amazed they're still reporting this when I spent 12 hours out fighting a massive bushfire yesterday with a tonne of homes lost.

    You know, real news.

Maybe the other three quarters of the livery fell off when it was trying to go fast...

Saw new(?) VICPol CIRT van today. 0/10. Fugly. Looks half assed, like the dude making the livery lost interest after pressing 'fill colour grey'.

Definitely prefer manual for practical reasons, I just have enough issues going between the wife's car (she stole mine) with the indicators on the left and the Commodores/Falcons at work, all of which are auto... then jumping in a truck I drive maybe five times a year (quiet brigade with plenty of drivers) and remembering how to drive manual straight away... Much less doing so under urgent duties driving. Usually fine by the time we get to the job but those first few minutes can be pretty unpleasant.

I'll always prefer rotators to LEDs. Kids these days just don't understand that unusually loud humming of the motors on the roof and the fact you only needed a couple of them with some oversized strobes on the grille and you'd manage.

The new RFS Izuzu's don't handle too badly... apart from actually having to change gears I quite enjoy driving. The old ones are pretty clunky though.

@Macgregor, double check your snapchat username, it's not working. ;)

Haha. I started out in the SES about 8 years ago... discovered I didn't like heights, rooves in storms or tarps... Made the jump a bit after that. Yellow suits better than orange, too.

Always gotta send those response snapchats to the poor bastards back at the office after you rush out to a job.  I keep the phone away as soon as we can see the smoke though!

Nice truck. I'm still not 100% on the QLD paintjobs. They seem very matte as opposed to NSW where the colours feel brighter and more shiny/metallic. I could be totally off on that though.

If anyone's interested, I attached a quick snapchat thing I saved before sending the other day. Average quality but in the first second or two there's a decent yelp without too much background/ambient noise that could probably be converted in to a siren. I was going to but don't have the time or patience at the moment.

Pretty sure it's a Hazard siren, NSW RFS truck built around 2012.
