Okay, I know what you are doing wrong now. Here are new steps: Import the car and wheel Align it with the wheel on the car Dismiss [wheel_lf] (Original wheel) Delete what appears when you dismiss the wheel Not having L0, L1, L2, L3, etc on compound [wheel_lf], it should just be a dummy Click L0 and lock the [wheel_lf] (The one you compounded.) Make sure the NEW wheel is NOT compounded. (Bold Letters = Compounded, No Bold = Not Compounded.) With the [wheel_lf] dummy locked drag the NEW wheel into the big grey box UNDER "Convert to Compound" & "Dismiss" Unlock [wheel_lf] Center local axes and done

Woah woah, you're going way ahead of yourself. You need to get the basics down before and at lest worked on a model before you start converting... It took me at lest 6 months at working on cars to actually be able to convert a car from IV to V.

I would defiantly recommend steam, with steam if you accidentally delete something thats not backed up you can verify integrity of game cache and it will add missing files. Im NOT sure but on disc do you have to reinstall the game to get something back you deleted? Unless you backed up all your stuff.
