What is New York Designs?
So a few days ago, I was walking down the street near 23rd and madison, when several FDNY trucks and NYPD cars came racing down the street, rumblers blaring, all lit up, and I thought to myself, why don't I make these cute ass cars in GTA? (Yes, I know what you are thinking BECAUSE LOS SANTOS DOESN'T LOOK LIKE NEW YORK yeah well TOO BAD!) Anyway, since me and a lot of my friends are from New York I decided to make a little group to make New York cars. We are planning on making a few different departments right now and will branch out to fire, ems, municipal, and maybe even maps ;) I think it is about time NY gets some representation. All of these cars will not be lore friendly, and will be as accurate as possible. Models will be released one by one and not in packs, as most departments are split between 3-4 people making separate vehicles, not a full collaboration.
 
Can I join? Do I have to be a New Yorker?
We are accepting modders to join! You can create liveries, or models, or even badges just send me a PM and we can have a talk. No, you do not have to be a New Yorker to join the design team Only 4 of us are so far, and @Slendis isn't even from this country (disgusting.) We also hope to maybe add some character designers/modelers to our team that can help us make some NYPD/NY peds.

How can you contribute?
We would love to have help with this massive project. If you want to help but dont know anything about modeling or texture designing feel free to comment below and give us your opinions, and suggestions about what we should add or remove or edit! If you do have experience in modeling and livery designing you can PM us or come on our discord to talk about joining and helping out with this. Also if you live in New York, any interior or exterior pictures are welcome! Some of us do live in the city, but we dont see these cars every day, especially the non-NYPD departments so any pictures would be great!
 
Updates:
We will try to update this thread once a week or two, but the models will take a while and it could be less than that. We will also make a gallery album, either I will make one with all of our vehicles, or each of us will have our own that is to be determined.

I can't really give you a definitive answer for the locations of those specific uniforms considering I haven't had the time to install 7.5 myself, but what I can tell you is that typically all the components for specific uniforms are pretty scattered around. The file attached is a list that tells you what each component is named internally. Hope it helps.

They do work together. Simply replace the existing EUP section with the following:

Do you have RDE installed? If so try installing RDE with WoV. If not could you please provide us with a crash report (Ex. RagePluginHook.log)?
 
Don't quote me on this but I think this might get fixed in a future version of EUP Menu. Until then there's not much you can do, however with personal experience it seems to help if you put the balaclava on manually, through a trainer or with something like Skin Control.

I'm sure you've already answered this on the support thread but have you tried using EUP with RDE plus WoV?

Is there any other info available that you could provide me with? Like an error message or a RagePluginHook.log file?

Yes, most people need WoV in order to use RDE with EUP. Though there could be other reasons.

PIA also some of influence from DHS's Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Security Enforcement Police (SEP) is based on Department of Homeland Security's Federal Protective Service (FPS).

They were replaced with other components. Most likely we won't bring them back unless we get into turning all EUP clothing into addon components rather than replacing components.

Here's a list of common reasons for this error to occur:
Improperly installed mods within dlcpacks (Ex. Installing a vehicle modification into patchday3 but it doesn't load correctly). To fix you must either remove those mods or fix the vehicles/dlcs not loading correctly. Missing vanilla dlcpacks in your mods folder (Usually it will tell you something like "One or more of the required DLCs are not present. Refer to the game console for more information"). To fix this simply find the missing dlcpack (in your regular GTAV files) and while in edit mode select "Copy to Mods folder", if you don't get this option you may already have it in your mods folder but for some reason GTAV isn't detecting it in game. If GTAV isn't detecting a dlcpack in your mods folder it's usually because you have a mod improperly installed there, read above. Realism Dispatched Enhanced (RDE). RDE and EUP aren't completely compatible in the current version of RDE, however it does seem to work with CERTAIN people. If you have RDE installed you must have World of Variety (WoV) installed for EUP and RDE to work together. Also note that for some people it helps to install EUP before RDE. If none of these work your problem may be with another mod, if you don't have any mods besides EUP and RDE it might be better to uninstall one or the other.  Wrong version of EUP or EUP Menu. Type "EUPMenuVersionInfo" in your RagePluginHook console (without the quotations of course), the versions should be EUP Menu 2.2.02 and EUP - Law & Order 7.5. If you have a different version for any of these you need to upgrade. If you continue to see this error message I recommend joining our discord so someone from the Support team (most likely myself) can help you get your game fixed. I also recommend having TeamViewer because it's a lot easier for myself to help you fix your game, however it's not required. If all else fails you should probably start with a clean mods folder (But make a copy of your current one on your desktop). Hope this helps, good luck everyone!

I solved my problem. For anyone experiencing the same difficulties, try to replace your dlclist.xml and extratitleupdatedata.meta with the stock ones and add your custom dlcs one by one in the data files.

BTW GREAT UPDATE this 7.5, really enjoying it!!

There's no error. That's how it's supposed to be. EUP has a different install location in order to get around the 48 DLC limit. You should not be editing your dlclist.xml.
If you're manually installing, please read the included readme.
 

I created a petition against the closing of OpenIV to TTI, and R* Games:
"For 10 years now the Grand Theft Auto series has been edited and modded by people to make the game more enjoyable. Hundreds if not thousands of people have bought one or all of Grand Theft Auto: SA, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Grand Theft Auto V. The modding of these games have been done mostly in singleplayer and with the help of OpenIV, a software that lets you get into the game's files and replace vehicles, scripts, textures, etc. The closing of OpenIV leaves 1000s of people without access to be able to mod their games, and leaves 1000s of people without the ability to continue their hobbies. All modding used by OpenIV is for singleplayer use only to make the game more enjoyable, the software OpenIV was never used to mod multiplayer or Grand Theft Auto Online so it does not harm anyone. Myself, and other members of the LSPDFR and GTA modding community ask that OpenIV be allowed to continue distributing and running as a modding software. Thank you."

That's what it is by default, though PieR (and others I think) are currently working a way so whenever you draw your handgun it's held with both hands.
Installing the new version should override the old files and work correctly without having to uninstall 7.4.

Now you know you're no lawyer, but you're an edgy pre-teen who likes GTA V minion mods, or some short circuit light bulb who drives around in a retired fleet car with amber "warning" lights, with thin blue line garbage plastered everywhere the rectangle will fit, and pretends to enforce his neighborhood watch program while being as grey as he can with the law, but who uploads YouTube videos with that there __PDFR mod, where they could do all those things that would be in direct violation of your state and federal laws. Yet let's assume you'll get some knowledge from my simple how-to topic here that'll hopefully let you see that nothing has changed and you're not as sol as you think you are.

Thank you so much! I figured it out. All I needed to do was delete the other Peds under the EUP section. It works like a charm now ;) .

He's mostly focusing on SUP at the moment.

Channel 7 News in Australia ran a story regarding LSPDFR yesterday, misrepresenting that LSPDFR and other modifications are used as a simulation for killing police officers.  This has since been picked up by other media outlets, as well as the gaming press.  Obviously, this simply isn't the case, and you can read our statement regarding this matter below.
