I'm getting that error upon starting the game. Many of my scripts will work, like the strobes and bravehearts policeing script and simple nativ trainer and many others. However, the indicator scripts and LCPDFR do not seem to be working. What is causing this and what can I do to fix it?

Ok, awesome. I'm using that GTA-IVaud 1.1.5 program to edit the sounds. I have that GM V8 sound mod that replaces one of the Muscle car files. I'm trying to change it's file names to V_STYLE_3 but I cant.

Which ivaud file does the Police Cruiser use for it's engine sounds? I'm trying to replace it with a Crown Victoria sound. I'm thinking it's one of the "V_STYLE" files, but I'm not sure. Anyone know for sure?

After totally FUBARing GTA, I had to reinstall. I'm thinking of making my police force have older style vehicles, non-ELS. 89' Caprice, 94' Caprice, LTDs, Impalas, you know. Of course I would want them to all have matching LCPD liveries. Any links you guys have? I'd also love to have a 92' Bronco police varient (I used to have one in real life, an Arizona sheriffs dept. Bronco. Hell of a little truck!)

I don't know why. I don't remember what I could have done to cause this. Any ideas?

Please actually read my post. I DID edit the handling file, it did not fix it.

I have tried using 2 different car models for the taxi2 slot, one is the newer model Impala, and the other is the 91' caprice made by Carface, on both of them, the rear suspension is like non-existant, the rear end of the car drags on the ground horribly, like there a 10 dead bodies n the trunk! I have edited the handling line to be the same as the FIB buffalo, in which I am using the same Caprice model by Carface with a blue dashboard light. I do not understand why this is happening. It looks terrible. Any help would be appreciated.

I am quite aware of the AI's complete disregard for safety. Funny as this may be, it is very annoying. I would really appreciate some help.

The police in my game are always chasing people, arresting them, shoting them, and just acting crazy. I did make a small change to popcycle so more gangsters would spawn, but it wasn't that bad. Ever since I put the "better senses" script in, this has been happenng. I have since removed that script, and the cops are still targeting everyone. And I mean everyone, gangs, women, cab drivers, ect. What is causing this? If needed I can post a video showing their strange behaviour.

I know this sounds insane, but I was thinking of getting rid of the Noose/SWAT guys and replacing them with either LC Sheriffs or Liberty State police. Basically, I have the 2 normal police cars as LCPD Caprice 9C1s, and I was going to make the other specialty vehicles (noose, polpat, ect) either part of the State Police or Sheriffs office, and give them more advanced and sporty vehices (newer CVPIs, Tahoes, ect.) Changing the cars is easy, I'm just searching for the right skins. Heres what I need help with: The peds. Right now, I have changed the noose guys animation to "move_cop_", hoping they would walk upright, and they do. But they carry rifles with one hand like an idiot. So theres that. I was going to replace them with a more diverse group of sheriffs or state troopers, and that would also require changng their audio lines (to the cocky redneck sounding alderny cops, you know). I have somewhat of an idea on how to do this. I beleive I saw in peds.IDE or pedvariations something about audio. Also, I would want some variation in ped clothing, so like right now my STROOPER from Custos "New cops and state troopers" mod. It has all types of different uniform variations. So to make that work with swat all I would have to do is change the wtd and wft names to m_y_swat and then copy its pedvariations line over to the swat one, correct? I know this all sounds confusing. Basically I want my swat guys to be state troopers/sheriffs, and to talk like them as well. Any ideas/suggestions?

Yes it will. Install it, then go to Vehicles.IDE and change the 4th "POLICE" in the line for police to "CAVCADE"

I would really appreciate it if someone could make a texture pack for me (4 with different unit numbers) for Pumbars LAPD Caprice based off of this paint scheme: I also am wondering if you could perhaps edit the model to have a rear passenger separator and some sort of push bumper. Also, could someone make these skins for Carface's Caprice model as well? I beleive the 2 have different templates.

Oh, no, I mean the area around the vehicle that is lit up by the light itself. Yes, I am aware of this coronas mod. It's nice.
