Yes, I did meddle with VB6 for a while and I did enjoy it, but I was having problem finding a good source for codes, and what they do, such as for web design I used http://www.w3schools.com and got the majority of my knowledge from there, and then when I started to grasp the basics I moved on to more complex coding, such as my MDC style poilce computer for the CVES clan.

Well I'm just curious as to how people learnt to code in C# C++ VB .NET ect. I'm a PHP, HTML, CSS coder, self taught from building things from scratch and just pushing my skills everytime I make a project. I've dabbled in learning C# and C++, even tryed my hand at .NET, but I'm just not able to pick it up, or do what I want. I don't want to be making little command line scripts, to start off with, I just want to jump right in to it. So again just to repeat my question, how did everyone learn to code in whatever they picked up, and how ling did it take you?

There are support sections for GTA IV if it's a issue with GTA IV, and a section for support for LCPD:FR if it's an issue with LCPD:FR.....I suggest making this topic there because there it will actually get seen by the people who deal with support.

Can you give more information about the crash, what where you doing when it crashed? Where there any error messages? The mod can't fix anything without any information to try and re-create it.

Linking with only facebook is a known problem, I believe I've seen this issue before and the solution was (unless the mods have changed things) go to the top of the screen, click your name, click on my settings, click on manage facebook, dissacoiate my account, then create a new account normally, then follow the previous steps to link facebook, but thatway you will have a username and password set up.

As for installing the tazer, there is already a post about it. Try searching it and you might find it, it's not too old. I think I saw it just the other day.

His Diag shows that .NET 4 is installed. OP: Try to delete your game, even going and manually deleting what it misses, and then install your game then patch it to 1.0.7.0 then install LCPD:FR, sometimes it could be an install glitch. *EDIT* Also OP don't bump your threads like that, people will read the topic when they get to it, and then help you. Bumping actually just makes the mods mad at you, and for the future you don't have to post screens for everything, the first two screens you could have just copied and pasted in to spoiler tags. Also to better help us, and you please give us your system spec's. Just let us know if you need help finding them.

Word of caution, when you click on a sound with the IVAUD editor it will play the sound, and if your wearing headphones and are not expecting it, then it will cause you to jump as I have found out from experience. ^.^

I play FSX, such a great game, but I fly online with VatSim http://www.vatsim.net I find it much better because the ATC is actually trained to control aircraft.

Another thing you can do is export the .ivaud and use the ivaud editor to extract the sounds as an .wav or whatever (it's been a while since I edited sounds) then use a sound editor to beef up the sound, then just put it back in. *EDIT*http://www.vilavek.com/apps/gtaivaud.php thats the link to the IVAUD editor in case you don't have it already.

I'm not familiar with the mod, but a good place to check is in the .ini file. That's usually where any definable settings are.

When I first saw this and saw that it was posted on April 1st, I was a little skepticle that it might just be a April Fools prank, but seeing as the topic has continued I guess it's legit. They have the right to release it when and if they want too. RC just stands for Release Candidate, so for all we know it could be a Tester only version, remember RC2 was only released to us due to a tester who could not keep a lid on it. *EDIT* Also guys remember 0.95 is on Feature Freeze meaning they will not be adding anything new, only improving on what they already have. So asking them to change the system is not going to happen till they get this version ironed out.

Wow dude, as a new modder to the scene you have amazing ideas that almost everyone has been wanting to see, and I am so glad your actually making them. Sounds like it's going to be awesome, and also some hints of RC3 being close, got to enjoy that. I hate the buggyness of ELS, and this mod sounds like the perfect alternative, it does sound a little unfriendly to adding the lights in older car mods, but once released I am sure that the newer cars will be released with this information already in their files as the needs of the many demand it. But with older cars, I'm sure once it is released modders for groups will quickly have the cars set up for this mod and all members in that group will get the updated files without having to find them out themselves.

I'd love to play the game, but since D2D got brought out by GameFly they have not got my copy of SWAT4 Gold online yet, so I am waiting....patiently.......for it to actually come online so I can play it again. I'd love to join sometime.

I'm running the same version and build number as you, but mine is totally different, what version of Windows do you have? Never mind, I fully read your previous post. I'm stupid. Anyways, go to your windows sound settings, make sure that your mic is set to the default recording device, and change your settings to Use Windows Input, also make sure you have all your volumes on your mic turned up!!! You can always lower them later if it is too loud.

With the Xfire, I can pick up my mic, but I'm having troubles picking up anything else. OP I don't know if this information is anything of interest for you.

F3 opens the menu, Numpad 8 and 2 to go up and down, numpad 5 to select, numpad 0 to go back one screen, backspace to close it. Numpad 4 and 6 to increase or decrease.

1) use 2) xliveless is not a supported (if I rememebr right) asi loader, try the dsound that comes with the installation. 3) make sure it is the Left Alt you are pressing, not the right one.
