I discovered LCPDFR thanks to Asuna. He made a chase video and it had his own voice along with others who volunteered to help him out. At the time I played GTA:SA on the GPM FR:RP server. Once I saw Asuna's video, I was like WOW! How did he do that?. I did some research and found out it was the LCPD:FR mod along with the ELS.v3 mod. Since then I've been hooked on it.

One of the worst moments I ever had and one of those moments that would have you pulling every hair on your head off. I was recording my lcpdfr commentary episode 14 featuring a Toronto Police Services texture pack I downloaded. Doing a regular everyday episode responding to little calls and doing traffic stops and what not. Then I get a shots fired call, I was around the corner from it, turned my lights & sirens on and went in hot. When I got there, a large group of guys came running out of an alleyway guns blazing. Before I got out of my car I placed my car at an angle giving me cover from them. I got out and took cover behind my car and began shooting back while spamming the police backup button. One of the guys came around my car distracting me while his buddy comes from around the car and shot me point blank killing me instantly. Little did I know that the shooting call I responded to was right in front of the hospital that I re-spawned at. As soon as I spawned back into the game, the guys where right there waiting for me and just opened fire killing me instantly. I re spawned again and they shot me again. For about 8 minutes straight I was just spawning and dying over and over again. Every backup that came was just getting gun down by these heartless SOBs and every time I managed to get some fresh air and try to take my sidearm out they would flank me and gun me down. At the end, Noose came in full force and saved the day. After that I ended my recording and quit. Didn't feel like even recording anymore. lol My worst experience. Now every time a shots fired call comes in and it is next to a hospital, I hit that little "N" button telling dispatch NO and to F*** off :D

I'm not a modder but I believe you have to map it out yourself using Zmodeler. I don't think unlocked vehicles come with ELS mapped out already. I believe to map out the wig wags you would use the takedown extras. Not really sure because I never bothered messing with ELS mapping. I only attempted to and successfully modded my first car until I found out that there is way more than just slapping some lights on the car and calling it done. But like I said, I doubt that unlocked cars will have ELS mapped out on it already. Those skins are really old. They were the first fictional skins I did and were an experimental pack when I was learning how to use GIMP. I'll PM you a taurus version tomorrow afternoon.

Just to let the OP know (Opulence). I've been doing a huge update to that skin pack this past week adding more cars and making the skins more HQ like. I don't have a release date yet because I'm working on other skins at the same time and tending to personal life stuff but if you are willing to wait a bit longer you can have a Taurus version once I release it.

Did you close OpenIV/SparkIV before starting the game?? I read somewhere that what you had mentioned happens when you forget to close the car mod installers like sparkIV and open IV. Make sure you close the car installer programs before starting up the game. I never understood the purpose of rebuilding your vehicles.img after installing a car. What I do is install the car I want, change the texture to the one I want, save and close. I never rebuild the img at all. Try to just install the car, save and close. just my 2 cents on this. It might or might not work but thought I lend a hand.

A LoJack Tracking system??? The script will spawn a stolen car anywhere within a 10-20 block radius ingame and a scripted alarm will go off letting you know a stolen car is in the area. It does not has to have the actual sounds but something simple, lets say "ALERT, ALERT" then some beeping every 5 seconds would be good. The car can be scripted to be an abandoned vehicle or driving. If it is driving, be able to pull it over. I know Braveheart Policing Script has a stolen car feature but I cant pull them over. Just throwing in my ideas.

One of my old released ped had the cops with strooper pants instead of the bdu/cargo pants, but it doesn't have the new belt by Policeman456. It is the default GTAIV ped cops with the strooper pants. I'm not sure if this are the models you are looking for but here is a link the the peds I speak of. It has my own textures on, Black with a yellow stipe, but i'm sure you can find a bunch more textures out there to replace it with. or replace them with the dafault strooper texture. I hope I was of some help.

Thanks. I might just stick with ELS v5 instead. I'll just use the high beams instead. It will look stupid but I'd rather see my AI's using els than the default gtaiv coronas. Thanks for the quick replies Original Light. @Michael V., Like I said in the first post. I get an error when using the spotlight. I know that the spotlight is installed correctly because I used it plenty of times and had fun using it, but a lot of times I get a script error and I'm to lazy to reload scripts for one little error. I do have the latest version of it too. @ any moderator, I wanted a quick answer and got it thanks to Original Light. I no longer need support and this thread can be closed. I had a feeling that was the case. I was wondering why people were activating their takedowns without no menu. ELS V6 crashes my game but I'll give it another try and see if it would work this time. I really don't want to open the ELS v5 menu but if that is the case then I guess I'll stick with it. I'll just use my headlights high beams to light up the alleyways.

Quick question guys. I want to know if ELS takedown lights can be activated without the need of the menu. According to ELS.V5, You need the menu activated in order to use the takedowns. Is there another way to activate the takedowns without opening the ELS menu and pressing ''T''? I ask because when I'm recording my videos and I want to search an alleyway and I want to use my takedowns, my game will randomly crash if the menu is activated while on patrol. Sometimes it crashes and sometimes it does not. So I cant change my patterns or use the takedowns in fear that my game will crash and I have to redo my video. I also see some LCPDFR commentary videos where people activate the takedowns but the menu never opens up. Ex. They never press "Alt+M" so the menu would show up. Is this possible with .v5 or is it a feature in ELS.v6 only. I don't want to use ELS.V6 because my game crashes 1 minute into the game. Also I now I can use the spotlight mod but I lost interest in using the spotlight. I get spotlight script errors every time I use the spotlight so that is not an option. Also I've been using ELS for a very long time and never used the takedowns. Like I said, I never activate the menu because of game crashes while on patrol. I might be the only one but for some reason LCPDFR & the ELS menu actived crashes my game 75% of the times.

I get my fonts at dafont.com What I use for my skins are these: Enter Sandman Bold - http://www.dafont.com/enter-sansman.font Serpentine Bold - http://fontzone.net/font-details/Serpentine-Bold-Bold/ Ash - http://www.dafont.com/ash.font for the ASH font, There is a font just like it that a lot of departments use but I cant never find it and I dont know what it is called. So I use ASH for now until I find it. I dont like how the G looks but it will do until I find the font I have in mind. I used to own a retired 2003 Sheriff Crown Victoria as my first car but had issues with a bad wiring somewhere in the car that kept making the headlights go out during the night time and my transmission went bad on top of that. I had it for a year and a half. I'm NEVER buying a retired cop car EVER again.. Lesson learned! Right now I drive my Grandmom's car. A 2007 Toyota Corolla red'ish/burgundy color. I'm looking to buy a 2012+ dodge charger color black in the near future. At first I hated the look of it but for some reason now I love those cars.

I agree with Colombia123. I think more cars should be mapped with this setup. I don't mean to hate but every car that has been released just looks the same to me. More cars with a setup like this would be great and new to the community. I personally love having lights on the back flashing with colors and the front off with just the takedowns on. As far as I know there is Aznairsoftdude's Massachusetts state police car that has this setup here at lcpdfr and a Palm Beach Sheriff car over at GPM. But more cars with different lightbars should have the lights mapped out light this.

I get questions like yours all the time on my videos. As far as I know, the driver ignoring the officer part happens to me when playing online. If a player gets to close to the vehicle I pulled over or attempting to, the vehicle will just ignore me and keep driving. and vice versa. On single player, it has never happened unless I'm using some sort of script that spawn vehicles and I try to pull over that same spawned vehicle "Ex.The abandon vehicle Cleanup script". Again, it has never happened to me so I would like see this implemented into lcpdfr script in future updates. The driver jumping out of the car after a traffic stop I never got to see something like it in singleplayer, but I have plenty of times in multiplayer. Like I said above, Only when another player or myself get to close to each others suspects. I had moments when my online partner pulls over a vehicle, I arrive and provide backup. I get out and walk to the passenger side door and my partner proceeds with his traffic stop. Next thing we know the driver jumps out of the car and casually walks away. There is a feature where the driver will jump out of the car after you approach the driver door, but he will most likely pull out an uzi or a shotgun out of his crotch and gun you down before you can react. Happens to me all the time.
