  1. What is the opinion on Thunderbolt boards? Is it worth it? I used Thunderbolt on a Mac once and it was ridiculously fast. Not sure if my PC needs it though...
  2. Fair enough. Thanks for the help!
  3. It appears to be free http://www.zmodeler2.com/?mode=downloads Is that the right version?
  4. On the page for the vehicle in the description it says - "-MOD STATUS: OPEN" Would that mean it's unlocked?
  5. Hello, I am using this car with a different skin: It is a great car, but I dislike the huge antenna on the back right side. How difficult is it to remove that? I like the other antennas (or antennae) everything else is great. I assume I would need some modeling program? Sorry if this is a noob question. Thanks
  6. I have Plantronics Gamecom 780, although it's USB, they are extremely comfortable, have dolby 7.1, great audio, got them for $50 on sale.
  7. Thanks! I ended up using this with a different skin:
  8. I have changed the lightbar to blue, but as you can see in the video, they look almost purple and rather dull. Other people like in the video you posted have been able to get bright, dark blue, almost white light. Why can't anyone just upload their lightbar texture?
  9. I believe I'm using this one with a different skin and my bad light texture. I am really looking for the blue lights. I can always change out the skin myself. I think a lot of people are looking for the blue lights. http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=440 I tried changing to the blue lights as you can see in my above video, but they look dull and purple, not bright blue/white like others have.
  10. Hello, I am looking for a CVPI (Not slicktop) with all blue lights. I have been scouring google, this website, and gta police mods for one, but I can't find it anywhere. I tried making my own, but it did not work so well. Here is a video of my failed attempt at making a light texture all blue. It does not even look blue, just kind of purple. Anybody know of one? Thanks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBLliXJRpm0
  11. Merry Christmas to All! The LCPD Chief has been cracking down and wants Niko and his goons behind bars. Will he survive? What will happen? Watch to find out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOe0dOzz3_Q
  12. Here's something I slapped together. The AI went a little crazy at the end though. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qN2IVlju7HA

This is a Desert Eagle sound mod I made based on the one in the video games Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2. It replaces the sound effect the desert eagle makes, not the gun itself. Enjoy! Password - Call_Of_Duty_Desert_Eagle_Sound_For_GTA_IV45042475 Video (It sounds better in the game) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b4bborQw3A You do not have permission to upload this anywhere else.
  13. Alright, I thought I fixed it, but now it just looks likes crap, so I guess I will stick with a pre-made model with blue lights and just replace the skin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QlKRjGNHqM How about that one? Someone made this and posted it in another thread a few months back, but never made it publicly available from what I see. Here is the thread - Does anyone know where I can get a car like that since this guy hasn't made it public? I am really after those all blue lights.
  14. youtube.com/watch?v=UMaw6NIUa8Q What model car is this? The person put the skin in the description but every CVPI model I find has red and blue lights, this guy has blue and blue, how do I get that? UPDATE - Nevermind, I figured it out.
  15. Is it possible to put the skin on a non ELS version of the same model car?
  16. How can I convert an ELS car to work without ELS? What needs to be remodeled? I have had my eye on these - Thanks!

Thanks for helping me understand this.

I'm not talking about a traffic chase, you know when you are just driving around and you see some cop running down the sidewalk after someone or saying "A concealed weapon, you're coming with me."
  19. Senatov replied to Senatov's topic in Discussion
Ok thanks for clarifying that. But what about times when LCPDFR is not even installed and you are just playing the game stock, and you see a cop chasing some guy down the street, or when you see a traffic stop on that one street in Algonquin? Are those just things that spawn randomly but are simply for show?

But what about when you start shooting (as a cop in LCPDFR) and you hear it on the radio? ex. "We have a shootout in Player's Location." What about when you are driving and you see a cop randomly chasing someone down the street? What about when as Niko or whoever when you get in a police car and use the police computer (With LCPDFR turned off) and it shows you all the current crimes? There has to be some rhyme or reason behind this.

Before I add my suggestion, I have to ask this question - Are the callouts that you hear over the in game police radio, for example "We have a shots fired in hove beach" actual events that happen in the game, or is it just audio added for effect? If they are real events, how about taking out the existing LCPDFR Callout system, and simply adding a point on the map at the location of the in-game callouts as they are called out, and perhaps turn up the volume of the police radio. That would be cool as opposed to random people standing in an alley as a callout. I may be wrong though, as these sound clips might just be random. Thanks.
