    Status Updates
    LSPDFR for Enhanced
We're very excited to announce that LSPDFR Enhanced, after months of development and testing, is now entering the next phase of the development process and is now available to our Insiders. We are deeply grateful to everyone in our staff team and closed testing community for their feedback and support that have brought us to this point.

The current build is largely stable, though a handful of bugs remain and we are not yet feature complete with Legacy. Development is advancing quickly, and each new revision brings us closer to a fully polished release.

Several community members have asked whether the Legacy edition will continue to receive attention. Both RAGEPluginHook and LSPDFR have been engineered to accommodate the Legacy and Enhanced branches side‑by‑side. With most of the heavy lifting complete, our goal is to roll out updates to both editions in parallel.

As soon as we’ve smoothed out the last few wrinkles and made sure everything runs flawlessly, we can’t wait to roll out LSPDFR Enhanced to everyone.

    The new LCPDFR.com
Work on the redesigned LCPDFR.com is progressing steadily. The site and its companion, RDR2Mods.com, run on the same underlying codebase.
An early version of the community upgrade is already live on RDR2Mods.com, allowing us to gather real‑world feedback, refine new concepts, and further stabilize the platform before bringing the enhancements to LCPDFR.com.

We thank you all for your patience and continued enthusiasm, and hope to share even more with you soon.

PlayerLSPDFR got a reaction from Demioner in On the way to prison!
I have a suggestion to make LSPDFR more immersive . There is already a plugin with criminal record but it would be really top that all criminals be sent in detention in a police station then after a number of arrests it would be really incredible that the game offers us the possibility to drive all the prisoners who have been arrested up to the penitentiary of Bolingbroke and this serve their sentence.

For example, I arrest Trevor for assault and let’s say, we give him a one-month jail sentence that would be nice if the game offered to escort him to Bolingbroke to put him in his cell and then once we get out of prison and decide to wait 2,3 days in the game ,ca would be nice to see him wandering around the yard or see him in his cell, to see him serve his sentence and then once his sentence expires it would be to receive a notification from LSPDFR that he has been released.

It would be a huge added value to add a mod to that, and to see that we can follow the progress of all the inmates we arrested, follow their life in the cell by going to see them or by looking at their record to find out how long they have to serve in prison. What’s a shame about the mod is that there’s no tracking of the criminals you arrest, I’d like to say to myself, I sent a Bolingbroke thief and if I go there, it would be fun to see him in prison clothes and to see him evolve in prison.

I was going to forget, it would be nice to have an entry animation at the penitentiary with fingerprints, the change of dress with an inmate number and at the end of the animation the putting in cell or in the walking yard with the other inmates who were arrested separating the inmates of opposite sex. So much for the entrance entertainment at the penitentiary.

Regarding the animation of release from prison it would simply be the opposite, the prison guard will pick up the inmate, who will recover his belongings, take off his prisoner’s habit and then in the end an animation of the main door of the prison that opens with the ex-inmate leaving and then to finish the arrival of a travel bus coming to recover the man or woman who is now free.

This idea came to me thinking that I would really like to see the fruit of my work as a police officer if I arrest Michael, Franklin or Trevor or a random NPC I would like to have the opportunity to escort him to the prison. I would like him to stay in prison and lead a life as a prisoner, for example if I go to prison, I would like to see all the criminals I have arrested with the possibility of seeing how much time they have left before being released or deciding ourselves to release them. I say that because I think it’s a shame to make arrests and to see that the criminals who are arrested disappear once they are taken to the police station.

I’m a fan of your work!! I don’t know if you like the suggestion, but if you do, I’m sure you’ll be able to do that if you can.
     Thank you for everything!!

In my opinion, this is actually a really interesting one. I've always been experimenting with getting pursuits by AI more intelligent, and would be really curious to see if there's like a RPH command to initiate a pursuit with yourself as suspect. To stop the pursuit for example, you can step out the car and the pursuit will end; everything returns to normal.

It would be a really useful feature for the modding community, as we can test officers' reactions to different situations. Currently it's a big struggle because you have to spawn in drivers, assigning them a task drive, initiate a pursuit on the driver NPC and when you are finally able to test out your mods, the NPC gives up quickly.

And beside this, it would also be really fun to have police officers chasing you. The game modifications and LSPDFR made chases much more organized and challenging for suspects, so it would be interesting to see them chasing you.

    Big fan of this suggestion!

@Sam  @LMS hello! would it be possible to put back in lspdfr 0.4.9 the possibility of being hunted ourselves by our units. To test our AI police officers.

    Hey man,
Any update on this? Same thing happening to me, I was able to report a car in theft (pc148 I think), but when some random npc shoots me or runs over me I cannot report it. Used to be able to report all kinds of shit. I'm thinking maybe the different codes or world events were changed with the update?

Thought about implementing a new feature; have other units respond to the same calls as you. Sometimes you get there first and see them roll up, or it's the other way around.

Ever thought of implementing like a crime status for each area? Which will manage how many "random/caught in the act" events we'll receive?

Has officer pursuit combat AI been improved? They rarely seem to shoot, and are at a real disadvantage during shootouts. Outside of pursuits, they do okay, so it seems to be something with the pursuit system.

I actually tried that believe it or not, but the officers keep leaving the cover and aim a gun and then returning to their cover for no reason,  they sometimes shoot a few rounds, but they don't magdump until they are on the ground, it took around 30 cops with weapons from pistol to rifle to shotgun to neutralize 4 armed suspects in a pursuit and 4 cops got killed. This is really how bad it is and I hope it can either be toned up a bit or have an option to adjust for us

So I recently noticed that the AI cops are kinda stupid when it comes to combat using guns, I saw this fourm https://gtaforums.com/topic/863681-why-is-ai-melee-such-sht/?tab=comments#comment-1068977879 and did the edits which made the suspect behave realistically, but the cops just dont shoot when they should and stand in cover, they only shoot more when they get hit and are on the ground. I called backups and they were just standing in the back not doing shit. Can this be fixed? @Sam

You can change the limit by setting "Chase.MaxUnitsPerSuspect" and "Chase.MaxUnits" in your .ini file. We do not recommend going much higher as it can cause performance problems, but you can definitely set it as high as you want.

You misunderstand our reason for not giving a specific date.  We're not a professional studio and don't have an army of people to work on this full time day-in, day-out.  There's so many different things to prepare and get ready for this release.  It's not like we finished 0.4 in January and decided to make everyone wait a month just for fun.
