Hello LCPDFR users, and welcome to my quick fixes and common errors guide on how to get your LCPDFR up and running. The guide will contain help on how to correctly use the diagnostics tool with version 1.0b as well as some of the more trivial errors which occur and how to fix them, so let’s get started. Below you will find a contents table of “Chapters” in this guide, each chapter can be found by it's title, the content of that chapter will be in a spoiler tag.

My final Words
To begin with it is probably best to start with Chapter 1, skipping to chapters is possible if you're in a hurry to get it working again but you might miss out useful information from a previous chapter. Seriously it is worth the read if it helps you fix your game.
I highly recommend everyone reads chapter 4 at the very least. It will explain the best way to get support on the forum should this guide not work for you. If people could use this format it would be great as it means I and other forum members can quickly read through your problems and help you out.

Please do the following:
Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks Update GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - This sometimes fixes a wide variety of issues Make sure that you run the game as an administrator. Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Install these: .Net Framework 4.5, Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2012 If your problem has been solved after following these basic instructions, hit 'Mark Solved' next to this post.

If not, please now reply to this thread, and make sure that you do the following:
Give a clear, detailed description of the problem. Explain any circumstances surrounding the problem. State what solutions you have tried. Post ALL relevant logs (LCPDFR.log, Scripthook.log, ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log). Include as much information as possible. Post your system specifications. Post what other mods you are using. This includes car and script mods. Post a screenshot of your GTA IV Directory

Hi! I decided to use old developments and release a new mod that would breathe life into the GTA 4 community:


"Following the recent elections in Liberty City, a political crisis has erupted. The new administration proved unable to handle the wave of problems sweeping the city: mass protests, rising unemployment, and a sharp influx of migrants have transformed the once-thriving metropolis and symbol of the American Dream into a boiling cauldron of instability. Old criminal organizations, sensing the weakness of the authorities, have become more active and started a struggle for control over the districts, plunging the city into chaos.
 
City and state authorities found themselves in a hopeless situation. Although the police continued to patrol the streets, they were overwhelmed and demoralized. In search of a solution, the state governor and the mayor of Liberty City made an unprecedented decision—to enter into a secret contract with a private military company whose owners remain in the shadows. This PMC, known for its operations in the hottest spots around the world, has taken on the task of clearing the city of criminal elements."

PMC 'SPARTA' is a highly professional unit tasked with handling issues that local law enforcement cannot resolve. Externally, 'SPARTA' appears as an independent private military company, but in reality, it is a subsidiary of a well-known international organization that is not permitted to operate directly in the United States.

Hm i used the menyoo Trainer, but i cant find anything to change that window tint. Did you know about menyoo Trainer ?
 
Here is what the files looks in editor. light black glases.I can look through it and the blue lights glas are blue.
 

All fixed now, installed the new gameconfig.xml by PNWparksfan and everything works great.

We've released a minor compatibility update for LSPDFR 0.48 (Build 7659) which adds compatibility for the new version of GTA V (v2189) - The Cayo Perico Heist.
 
There are no changes in this version other than those necessary to make the mod work on the new game version, although we will likely release a follow-up update (LSPDFR 0.4.9) in the near future which may add further compatibility with some of the new game features introduced by Rockstar Games in The Cayo Perico Heist update.
 
Note that there were significantly more changes to the game in this update than in previous ones which required more work from both us and the RAGE Plugin Hook team than normal.  There may still be outstanding issues, so please report these in the support forums if you come across any.
 
Please ensure that you now update your game to the latest version of GTA V before playing this new version of LSPDFR 0.4.8, which you can find as normal on the main LSPDFR page.

Per my "GTA IV Running Slowly?" thread, I've been looking up graphics cards, and found some:
Would any of the graphics cards linked to below, get rid of my "lag/ slow to respond" on GTA IV and LCPDFR, on maximum scripts and settings?

Edit: Any links above that require a certain power supply and motherboard, I cannot get, because I don't know what my power supply is, and don't know what motherboard I have/ how to find out what motherboard I have

At the moment - no way.
I use the pirated version of the game, because on the licensed LCPDFR, even if it works, it crashes every minute

I know that Accepting a callout is "Y' and Denying one is "N" To decide whether you want a transport unit to get a suspect or not, "Y" is to take the suspect to a station yourself and "N" is to get a transport unit. That's the most I got for now. I can't pull anyone over because "Shift" doesn't do anything for me at least. Si I'm assuming most of these keybinds need to be re-binded or LCPDFR needs to be updated to work with the Complete Edition. I don't know though because I'm new to the LCPDFR stuff.
I read somewhere it was ALT + E, but I haven't tested it yet so I can't confirm or deny it.

First version is up which should allow you to use most mods. I might update this in the future to include more fixes.
 
 

I updated most things for the latest patch, but it is quite unstable unfortunately. I will see if I can fix a few things here and there but I fear that LCPDFR will not work as well as on the older builds.

Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only" Ensure that AdvancedHook.dll, ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folder Ensure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder. Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation. Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself. Also note that the more scripts and alterations you do can make your game even more unstable. Also if you're pushing your system too hard it will make it more unstable as well. Good luck!
