  1. Right, you are extracting the carvariations.meta from mpluxe2, removing the corboxville, saving, and putting it back, thus restoring the file to it's original condition. Then you're taking the current carvariations.meta from mpchristmas2, adding the corboxville, saving, and putting it back into mpchristmas2. That is what I said above, sorry if it's worded confusingly. ;)
  2. Actually, you probably don't want to put the carvariations.meta file meant for mpluxe2 into mpchristmas2. The problem is that mpluxe2 after the newest update doesn't seem to work for addon vehicles anymore. Just extract the carvariations.meta file from mpluxe2 and cut this out: Then save it, and reinsert it back into mpluxe2. Extract the carvariations.meta from mpchristmas2 and after <variationData> paste the cut you just took from mpluxe2 above. Save it, and put it back in mpchristmas2
  3. Do this: Export your current saloon_7_us_v8.awc as openFormats to a blank folder with OpenIV. In that folder, replace all the files in \saloon_7_us_v8 folder with the .wav files from the crown vic sound mod you're installing. Now with OpenIV reimport the .oac file from said folder. That should be all you need to do as the latest OpenIV update fixed the issue with importing the sound files.
  4. yep, very talented guy as far as mods are concerned, it's a shame he has RAGE against the RAGE.
  5. Yep, in this case you'd only need to replace files in patchday3ng.
  6. it's by jedijosh who hates ragehook and LSPDFR for some reason.
  7. vehicles.meta in mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5 http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/9473-4k-lspd-lssd-ford-explorer-skin-pack-modified-tail-lights/

  9. Here's a short video I made after using my instructions to import the sirens... as John23 stated if necessary I can make an installation video, but if you do exactly as I said, it works.
  10. Odd, I just tested it following the procedure I outlined with a fresh unmodded RESIDENT.rpf, and everything worked beautifully. I'm not sure why it's not working for you.
  11. Uhm, yeah, see that link in the middle? Click on it. There's also a Youtube icon in the bottom right, click on that -- either one will launch the video directly from youtube.
  12. I dunno then, I use steam version, but that should work. You might just need to reinstall the game then.
  13. For the standalone, Rockstar Warehouse version: Hit "Start", "Run", and type "cmd" without the quotes. Hit enter. Type C: in the cmd window that pops up. Type cd c:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V. Hit enter. Note: If you’ve installed the game to a different directory, enter that volume and directory instead. Type "GTAVLauncher.exe -verify" in this window (no quotes again) and hit enter.
  14. click on the play icon, and then in the bottom right, click the 'watch on youtube' button.
  15. Verify your game files via steam or Rockstar Social Club method.
  16. Thanks, I understood your instructions (mostly) but you know, sometimes you gotta make things really simple. Was nice of you to help and offer to make a video though.
  17. @SheriffDandy For those having trouble, I've simplifed the instructions that @John23 posted. Do this: Export your current vehicles.awc as openFormats to a blank folder with OpenIV. In that folder, replace all the files in \vehicles with the .wav files from the siren mod you're installing. Now with OpenIV reimport the .oac file from said folder. That should be all you need to do as the latest OpenIV update fixed the issue with importing the sound files.
  18. Thanks for reporting back, glad to help.
  19. Pretty sure for sirens it's PostFX that needs to be on very high or ultra, not texture quality.
  20. Export your current vehicles.awc as openFormats to a blank folder with OpenIV. In that folder, replace all the files in \vehicles with the .wav files from the siren mod you're installing. Now with OpenIV reimport the .oac file from said folder. That should be all you need to do as the latest OpenIV update fixed the issue with importing the sound files.
  21. Make sure <sirenSettings value="2"> for whatever vehicle you replaced.
  22. Strange, never seen the issue myself, but I don't use a partner too often.
  23. Yeah, check the readmes of this mod.
  24. Not sure if it's related, but I see Vehicle Search warnings before the pedsearch crash. There is a newer version of Vehicle Search. I know using that and pedsearch, I'm not experiencing any issues.
