Hey guys, so I've been digging the latest 0.3 release and already added some updated plugins. I usually patrol the more dangerous parts of South Los Santo's, and i use the Native Trainer to recruit nearest officer as a bodyguard at the station. Problem is that if a suspect decides to take off during a traffic stop my partner doesn't get back into the cruiser and starts spraying him with a machinegun, or if a angry pimp decides to jump me when i am searching one of his hooker's my partner blast's him away instead of trying non-lethal take downs that was implemented with 0.3. I think this is because he is still a "bodyguard" and is set to kill anyone that tries to hurt me. I know its nice of him and all...but he could tune it down abit no? any suggestions?

I watched the video that he himself posted on twitter and its horrid. They didn't reveal to much detail on the news so i tuned into Virginia State Police CH1 & CH2 on the scanner. This guy drove his Silver Mustang to a nearby airport, then ditched it and stole a green Charger and took the police on a chase which involved at least one Hit & Run involving another vehicle and 4 other cars crashing due to the chase (No major injuries) at some point he had switched vehicles again and jacked a Chevy Sonic and took them on a pursuit on I-66 before he was boxed in and confronted by the police, he shot himself but managed to only criticly injure himself and he is still breathing. I hope he lives, death for him would be a easy out, hopefully he can suffer the rest of his days locked up and forgotten.

This thread can be closed, LCPDFR works like a charm again with added mods and all is well!

Well responses are not fast here, because people are probably too busy working on LSPDFR! (woohoo!) But anywho i don't know much about the coding but all i can do is offer you some suggestions. What version of Windows are you running? If you did the manual installation ScriptHook should be in the main directory where you dropped the manual installation. Did you also set the the entire game folder to NOT be Read-Only? also have you looked in your Control Panel/Uninstall to see if you even have .Net 4.5 installed and C++ 2012?

Seeing as how i have Windows 7 the .Net Framework 3.5 is pre-installed with it and cannot be viewed as a installed file. So actually trying to find it and delete it to re-install goes beyound downloading the installer and clicking install. I used this method to fix my .Net 3.5 How to Repair or Reinstall .NET Framework 3.5. After that i installed .Net 4.5 and restarted. So now i have been playing LCPD for about 1hr 30 and haven't had any issues. Scripts are not crashing, callouts work, only thing that i still don't see is the repair car arrow behind stations still (wierd) but something tells me repairing the above helped solve my issue....so far.

I may actually have a working theory...doing some tests right now and will report back. @jg45042 My folders are fine, everything is set the way its supposed to, remember i had this mod working Flawless for a good 10hrs (i was having to much damn fun, i know) but i'm leaning towards a possible conflict with .Net4.5.2 being installed and seeing as how most of us also have GTAV (Which requires .Net4.5 to run) it could be a problem. Again i'm digging into this more. Results soon.

OK this is absolutely boggling my mind right now. I even went as far as to delete EFLC (Steam) and LSPDFR again...Document folders and all, 100% clean slate with not a single damn thing connected to EFLC or LCPD. Installed my CD Version of GTAIV updated to the latest patch and reinstalled LCPD and did the entire check list of folder not read-only, everything in root, dsound.dll, etc... Still no repair arrows, still cannot accept calls, still crashes. I don't understand what happened. I wish i never installed those two other mods because now this mod is broken no matter what i do now, i just want to play again for hours like i did post mods. :(

Oh i'm not very good with forum postings, i was wondering how i could make all that nonsense smaller. Sorry guys.

Hey there, so i had don't a fresh install of EFLC (STEAM) and LCPDFR1.1 add got all the Visual Updates stuff, .NET and C++'s that i needed. Started up the game and started the Mod. Everything worked awesome for hours and no crashes at all. So then i added these following mods: Overtaking_Fix, Headlight&Blinker Strobes) Started the mod up again and everything worked great still for hours! Sooo i decided to go ahead and add these Mods: Callouts+ and The Wastelands. After those two the mod did not want to start up. SO i deleted all my mods and tried again. Now the funny thing is i can start LCPDFR but i notice i cannot go to a station to fix my car anymore, the yellow marker does not show up anymore and pressing Y does not accept calls. And after playing for about 20mins sometimes i get crashes during a stop or something. SO i deleted EFLC and LCPDFR and did a registry clean to wipe out any traces and Did a clean install of Both, this time with no mods whats so ever like i did from the beginning. But still cannot fix my car at a station, Y does not accept calls and sometimes crashes when i pull people over. I do not know what to do because i had the game running PERFECT, flawless. Now its just broken. Yes i have made sure the directory(subs) was not Read Only and i also played with Anti-virus/Maelware OFF and also not connected to the Internet. Also i have to use dsound.dll because when i use XLIVE.dll the game starts from the intro of game and ALT-P does not do anything. LCPDFR only works with dsound.dll My Specs: Windows 7 x64 Bit, AMD PhenomII 3.30GHz 6core, Radeon HD7870, 16GB Ram Below is the log i get.

Its weird i have this problem with xliveless.dll that when i use that it starts my game from the start and ALT-P does not start LCPDFR. But if i use dsound.dll ALT-P starts LCPDFR but it crashes anytime a suspect pulls a gun out on me. Always did want to play this, but i don't have the patience to keep restarting my game every 10mins. Fresh install of EFLC and all the proper C++ and .NET and no other mods. Its unplayable.

AAHAHAA!, its funny sometimes how quickly things can escalate in GTA5. But then there are times when its just plain annoying.

So, i was wondering if there are any mods that keep pedestrians from going bonkers when they see a firearm, or is this something in the works? Sorta kills the mood when after a persuit if the suspect decideds to get out and open fire, then you and the fellow officers return fire, it turns into a demolition derby and people start getting ran over (including myself) by bystanders in cars. Then the cops start shooting at the bystanders running people over and even more bystanders start ramming things causing a much more chaotic scene. GTA5 has some really Crazy Pedestrians!!

Been liking what you guys pulled off on this beta release. I have to say i'm impressed! been keeping me entertained. Added some others mods as well to go with LSPDFR and haven't had any issues yet! Good Job!
