  2. I didn't say I support Jones either. I personally think he is a clown. However, in every other Piers Morgan"debate" Morgan starts talking over opposition when they bring something up. Just look at the first debate with Larry Pratt when Larry pointed out his high firearm ownership county had a tenth of the crime Britain did. Piers then tried everything he could to talk over him and divert that. Seeing something worse done to Morgan, who later joked about shooting an unarmed Jones (imagine the outrage if it was was other way around), was ironic and funny to me
  3. No, people didn't fight back because he repealed the gun control act enabled by the Weimar Republic, but only loyal members of the Nazi Party were allowed to have guns. Mother Jones, an extremely left news site, did an article claiming no concealed carrier has stopped a mass shooting. They were actually right, because the FBI classifies a mass shooting as at least 4 people getting killed in one location in a random attack. What they failed to mention was that all of those shootings occurred in gun free zones where law abiding citizens are never allowed to carry. One example is the Clackamas Mall Shooting in Portland just 2 days before Sandy Hook. The gunman killed 2 people, and a concealed carrier pulled out his weapon and aimed, but didn't fire, and the gunman ran around the corner and shot himself. Unsurprisingly, almost all coverage of the event dropped after that little detail came out. I've talked to multiple cops in the US, and they would laugh at that statement. Their job isn't to enforce pre crime and be everyone's bodyguard, it is to enforce laws and investigate the crime after it happens. The supreme court has even ruled that police are not required to protect you. In a debate you need to provide proof to justify your point. Prove they are not planning to take guns away. Your state just required microstamping of handguns, which no manufacturer will do. Since your state already has a registry, it is effectively banning handguns. I found Jones on Piers Morgan pretty funny considering that Morgan starts screaming over his opposition every time he starts losing an argument Police are only able to win shootouts due to drastically outnumbering suspects and having more firepower. Should they go against a group with equal or greater numbers using guerilla tactics, they are screwed until they get lucky and surround them. Just look at the Mumbai attacks in India, or more recently the Chris Dorner manhunt. The police were running scared until they surrounded the cabin he went into, then outnumbered him over a hundred to one and proceeded to purposefully burn him alive.
  4. And what makes an entity that killed at least 292 million people outside of war in the 20th century so qualified to be the only ones with guns? Again, the areas with the highest gun crime in the US have the strictest gun laws, while areas with the most lenient gun laws in the US are some of the most crime free. The only way to enforce the laws you want to see passed is through drastically increasing the arms of the police. They tried that in Brazil, and people knock out cops or kill them to get guns, and yet it still is the most gun violent country. Also funny that you mentioned M4s and AK47s. M4s are illegal for civilians to own and AK47s require a 6 month background check (and they are 10s of thousands of dollars, so most can't afford them anyways). By the way, hands and fists are considered weapons and used to kill twice as many people in a year as the scary black guns do in 10.
  5. Look up California's gun laws (just passed a law requiring a background check and $50 tax just to buy ammo). They also require a registry for all guns. None of that solved anything here.
  6. I'm getting tired of these shootings in gun free zones.

  8. It depends on the agency. Most detectives in my area are given low profile interior lights for their personal cars, so they have state license plates

  13. Steady burns are created by mapping multiple extras to the same spot. The only way to remove the steady burn is to remove the texture for that individual light (though depending on the model, it may remove other lights also). Cj24 has an LAPD cvpi pack in the downloads section with an option to remove steady burns though.

  15. What an interesting comparison, considering most of us separate our virtual lives from real life. All of those discussions you listed affect us in real life, while people putting little effort into mods is something that doesn't matter in the long run and something that you can avoid (You know the download button? There's an idea called "don't click it if you don't like it).
  16. Create something better then. But we all know you won't, because you spend your time criticizing others.
  17. KevinDV will work on redoing his Caprice as his next project in order to fix issues like window collisions causing game crashes and mapping issues, but he won't be returning until he finishes exams near the end of June. As far as I know, the Caprice from GPM is dead.
  18. No, they are choosing to release the models for your benefit. Whether you want to use them or not is up to you. But since you already have mods that you like, why do you care so much about people that are beginning to mod by placing parts? Tim98 only modded vehicles by placing parts and some crudely done original modeling, but now he's vastly improved and is one of my favorites modders. Why are you so against people taking their first baby steps?
  19. I hardly call it bible hate. If people want to follow a belief solely because it is in the bible, then they should follow every other belief.
  20. But by acting like you know what God wants, are you not trying to take over His will?
  21. No one if forcing you at gunpoint to download that car. And as CJ24 said, if you don't like it, find someone who will make something that meets your standards, do it yourself, or forget about it.
  22. Funny, I don't see any files from either of you. Maybe you should get started on mods you want to see. It would surely be more effective than complaining about it on a forum.
  23. People mod with what they have access to. Maybe if you were to provide them with unlocked models of the vehicles you want to see, they'd have more options. But right now, there is very little unlocked vehicles and most unlocked parts are optimized for the CVPI. This is also in the wrong section. MODERATOR NOTICE Moved to proper section
