  1. These videos may assist. Yes, in the beginning it can be hard to understand, but once you do it several times, it gets easier. I will try to explain it in the simplest terms. For installing mods, there are 4 locations I use. UPDATE FOLDER Vehicle files - update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles.rpf Carvariation.meta - update/x64/dlcpacks/mpxmas_604490 UPDATE.RPF Vehicle.meta - update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta/vehicles.meta Handling.meta/VisualSettings.dat - update.rpf/common/data/ In quick steps, using OpenIV, put ALL your vehicle models(ytd, yft) into the vehicle.rpf in latest DLC. Go ingame to check to see models work, there may be lighting issues. Next update the carvariations in mpxmas_604490 DLC. Now go ingame and test all lights and such to make sure they look and operate correctly. Next if needed, is the vehicle.meta, usually for updating the <FLAG> line to keep your pushbar from falling off easily. Handling.meta is usually something you do on your own, if you want to install a police3 vehicle in a fbi2 slot, you may need to copy the handling files over unless you want a ford explorer that flips over like a hotdog. I could do a stream if you guys would like a tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZnBwl7R4cg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-M05f2MYo70
  2. I would first check Task Manger to make sure you aren't running another program which is causing the computer to lock up, whether it maxing CPU or memory.
  3. You cannot just run it from another location. You will need to just make a copy of the stock game folder and put it on your external, and hopefully you have room to rename and swap the folders out.
  4. What do you mean it "downloads" files after launch? Did you put the new police2 files in the patchday3ng vehicle.rpf?
  5. I believe FBI2 and SHERIFF2 are for some reason combined. I remembering changing FBI2 and it made my Sheriff2 explorer flip like a fish. Lol
  6. Quick question. I seem to have a small issue with the yellow LED on the rear center of the light bar is stuck on at all times. Checked to make sure vehicle.meta and carvariation.meta are updated and it still is on. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jeff
  7. Noticed the same as well above for front dash/push bar lights.
  8. Hi F5544, I humbly come before thou seeking a future request. I love your Taurus, which is used by the state police here, however, every single bloody car in the police, whether state, or just about any local police as well, use all blue lights. So far the only one's out are currently on European vehicles. Just something to possibly add in the future, maybe when you complete the Liberty bar. Here is the picture of said vehicle http://policecararchives.org/louisiana/state_images/cnpca20282a.jpg
  9. Verify GTAV files if using steam then reinstall
  10. Excellent vehicle! Question, did you make the flexible antenna? I think many other vehicles would benefit from it's moving awesomeness!
Very nice! The new flexible antenna takes the cake for me!
Excellent job! Can't wait to see the invisible issue fixed!
  11. That explains it! Wow! I cannot wait. :)
  12. Anyone had an issue where they could not enter into police mode? I go up to the police station and the notification only pops up in a very tiny area which i can't stand on. The notification just pops up and instantly goes away so I am unable to enter police mode. Any ideas?
  13. 30 seconds till website implodes!
  14. Same...Lol
  15. Sam wishes to sleep, #1 reason.
