done that but as like a lot of other comments on the rage forums, the backup doesn't always work, found that as I'm running a Disc version and not steam, I just unplug my router and it then loads in offline mode, so I have best of both worlds, I can update when Rage and everyone else has caught up... thanks for the time in replying. if that's the pinned article, just did that, didn't work, the commandline text made no difference... it updated then I put my original V and launcher in main game folder... all it wanted to do is update again... I'm using the non steam dvd version..

Actually re-booted and installed the latest Rageplugin hook.... Game patch not supported.... So completely locked out... I thought I was offline.... ok.... will do , just t let you know the latest patch is not supported by Rage yet... I'm sorry but this is now becoming a support thread rather than a suggestion, search forums but everyone say you cannot play offline? do you have the link to the topic?

I don't paly online, all I want is to make you tube patrols.... I've just finished modding for the second time and today received an update, that I have had to install the latest RagepluginHook, and the latest scripthook, now I get a message that the game is corrupt please re-install...... Hours wasted... makes me want to go back to LCPDFR!!!!

HI, I have modded my GTA IV for british police and have recently got a british police motorcycle. I know how to change ped compnants etc, and textures using openIV. I need to find the crash helmet file in the game so I can export the textures and change them to british colours then rename as once LCPDFR is running it allway gives me a Police flat cap as a helmet, so I need to rename the file etc and add it to my mod pack.... Is this possible? In short where/what's the helmet file called in GTA IV

HI, reading all this, its a great mod! but when I use the barriers my vehicle that I'm using becomes AI .... I can turn on and off lights but loose all other controls, steering etc and cannot get out of the vehicle.... The callouts are fine.... The barriers are a great addition and saves me having to have vdpolicehelper which never worked well. if I teleport it I can get control back but as soon as I drive near a barrier I've placed I loose control again. Is ther a way to remove the barrier? I'm running your latest version, on 1.1 lcpdfr

The modders are Great, the gta 4 programming sucks... saving hard to upgrade to run gta V

I appreciate that the stand-a-lone LCPDFR somehow uses the LCPD cars that are already in GTAIV. I was wondering if they are installed as such or its some new script? if they are installed then surely it would be possible to offer different car packs?

I get the problem, but what I'm saying is, when installing LCPDFR, with the standard police cars, is there not a way that the install could use different cars on initial install, instead of modding what is, on its own a very well thought out mod?

As in the title, I really get frustrated with the crashes when using various car mods etc. As the stand-a-lone LCPDFR runs unlimited with the cars in the install, why not offer different car install options? really not worried about ELS etc, but good old reliable game play. I know LCPDFR IS FREE, but I for one would pay to have for example a British pack that runs for more than 15mins. Maybe GTA V will be better? but we cannot all afford to spend a fortune on upgrading our Pc's.

Is anyone aware if they are working on this annoying glitch? Miss out on a lot of calls that control clear before you can accept them

worked for me, I've had LCPDFR ELSv8 with DD's Met Battenburg, London Mini Mod, All the Met officers running with dsound.dll setup for over an hour and no crashes... GREAAAAT!!!!

Read his readme file in the pack... I'm new and managed it, you'll need openIV for the police stations
